  • This Tree skirt can go together in one afternoon, it is all in the cutting and organizing. You will need 6 Fat Quarters and a 10° ruler, and it can be a table topper too :)
The ruler you can get at most Sewing and Quilt shop, but if you can not find it there you can get it here.

I like this project, Laura but I would like to try it another way: Instead of doing it on my sewing machine with right-sides-together do it on my serger sewing the wedges wrong-sides-together with variegated thread in the loopers so the decorative thread seams show on the top (then stitch-in-the-ditch with my regular sewing machine for the quilting and finish the bottom with a serger again with the decorative thread. 🧵 😘👍

I want to make a tree skirt and the size that I need to figure out how to do this is, my measurements are 32" from the front of the tree to the end of my tree and it should be 64" in diameter overall. my ruler is a 10" ruler.
