Thanks JJ for all your continuous great coverage of FDNY.
YOUR MOST WELCOME LYNN AS ALWAYS AND OF COURSE THANKS SO MUCH.....
Thanks JJ for the coverage. The members are doing great job. This could have been an absolute disaster with the houses so close.
YES, AS IT IS IT WAS BAD BUT COULD HAVE BEEN REALLY BAD PAT.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
They found one man dead in one of the houses that burned down
Music lover Pearson said they found one man dead in one of the houses. How awful that.
Great video JJ
Awesome coverage as always. Thank you and special thanks to the FDNY for their tireless work. Prayers to the families that lost their homes.
YES INDEED JEFFREY AND OF COURSE THANKS SO MUCH.....
Thank you JJ! It is terrific that you combine video (from excellent vantage points) along with the FDNY radio traffic and your own commentary. I have learned a great deal about firefighting from watching your channel.
Another great video. Outstanding work by FDNY. This could have been a lot worse. Prayers for the families that lost their homes. Stay safe
I AGREE AND THANKS SO MUCH RICHARD.....
Great work by the brothers knocking this down. Thanks for chasing this one JJ.
YES THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND YOUR WELCOME GARY.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
John,. Thanks so much for your above and beyond coverage of this horrible fire. Prayers for all those involved..
Great coverage, they did an amazing job to keep that fire from spreading, well done, that could have been a firestorm
Supper coverage John as you always do 👍🏻😊I love watching your videos.
I TRY LYNDSEY AND OF COURSE THANKS SO MUCH.....
Thank you for sharing this with us all. My father and Uncle were both Firefighters retired from Yonkers NY. Prayers for those who were affected by this tragedy and God Bless all of the 1st Responders everywhere.
Great coverage my friend so many moving parts to this operation the members got a workout today pulling so much hose to the rear of the building and fighting it from other buildings great knockdown and 2N2 see you soon 45:37
YES, IT WAS A HECTIC SCENE INDEED RUSH.....LOT'S OF MOVING PARTS.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Great job all round. It amazes me that as extensive as the damage was to the fire house that the exposures were kept relatively good. Great view from the roof. I was slightly surprised no one else was up there. You are amazing. Stay safe!🚒🇺🇸
YES, THEY DID A GREAT CONSIDERING THEY HAD WATER ISSUES TOO PLUS LOTS OF DOUBLE PARKED CARS.....THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH.....
Fantastic coverage and narrative John, as always!
GLAD YOU LIKE IT ALL AND OF COURSE THANKS SO MUCH.....
Great video as always. Thanks for sharing
YOUR WELCOME AND THANKS SO MUCH.....
You seem an integral part of the FDNY. Great commentary and videography. The guys seem to welcome you there which is awesome. FDNY is the best. Love the vantage points you are able to access for the best shots. Thank you for your tireless work bringing us to the scene.
WELL, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE KIND WORDS AND GLAD YOU ENJOY MY VIDEO.....THEY ALL DO LIKE ME RICH.....
If you fist bump the BChief, you're in. Lol. Watching the auto shop fire now.
Once again, excellent job covering this fire scene.
Good job John. Tough fire with tight streets, overhead wires, and old wood frames.
Thanks JJ for always getting the “angles”. The members did a great job protecting exposures considering the amount of fire upon arrival.🇺🇸🚒🐄
YOUR MOST WELCOMED AND I AGREE.....OF COURSE THANKS SO MUCH.....
Great job JJ and FDNY guys 👍🚒🔥
THANKS SO MUCH.....
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 Hi JJ 👋🙂 You're welcome
Awesome coverage John. So hard for the FDNY to put out with houses on top of each other plus little room for all the trucks needed. They still build them today like that. Just crazy...🦃🤗🤗
fantastic video as always.. your cleveland Ohio fan
THANKS SO VERY MUCH.....
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 beyond welcome...
Thank u for another great vid JJ and another awesome job by the FDNY
Thanks for another great video, JJ! ❤
I have to say that this one gave me the creeps a little bit. Imagine you're sitting in your apartment, watching the TV and unknown to you, your attic is on fire just over your head!
That's a total nightmare scenario for me, followed closely by having to live so close to your neighbors on both sides!
Thank you. Great coverage.
Another great job by the firefighters of NYC. This could have been much worse. Amazing how the confined the fire to the rear of one house. And of course, another great job of filming. Keep up the good work, John.
Great job John, as always. Thanks for the video/commentary. Keep safe and warm. Happy THANKSGIVING to you and Skylar.
A little more confusion than we’re used to seeing from FDNY. Great coverage John, thanks.
WELL, THERE WERE MANY ISSUES GOING ON THERE ANTHONY.....THANKS SO MUCH THO.....
Luckily the house on the right had a stone wall and the fire did not reach the roof there. Nice work again John, and of course the FDNY.
YES INDEED ROLF.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Excellent job 👏 by you and NYFD! I agree with the posters about the houses are too close together. Radiant heat is under rated as far as being a source of ignition.
Great coverage John as always!!Please be safe while you are filming these videos.
GLAD YOU LIKED THE VIDEO DENNIS AND OF COURSE THANKS SO MUCH.....
Great angles! I appreciate the coverage.
Nice catch, between the radiant heat and the embers I’m surprised only 1 other house lit up. Had to be a helluva time trying to get a TL on that block.
What’s up John ❤🇺🇸🙏.
Awesome video John!
Great video JJ ttough one to fight with exposures so close, stay safe.
YES, VERY DIFFICULY INDEED.....THANKS SO MUCH ROBIN.....
Great video stay safe thank you
Great video cover again John, Thank you, stay safe Mate
THANKS SO MUCH RICH.....
7:13 I find it very eerie to see a house with the lights on, ceiling fan going etc. Just having a normal evening and then you neighbors house catches on fire and spreads to yours and you get out as fast as possible. Sad for everyone.
Hi John, how are you? always the best angles of firefighters' work, congratulations on the great work my friend. 😁👍🏽🇺🇸🇧🇷🇯🇵
Great footage as usual JJ!
Great Job JJ.as always, this Fire Had a goo start Before they every got there hope no one got Hurt. Stay Safe bro.
These are awful anytime, but especially as the holidays are about to begin. You be careful up on those roofs in the dark.
I TOTALLY AGREE.....VERY SAD.....;o( THANKS SO MUCH.....
YES, THEY GOT IT IN THERE EVENTUALLY.....I WAS ON A RESIDENTIAL BUSINESS....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Squad 99 on scene great video John.
THANKS SO MUCH BOB.....
“Ladder 58 Bucket here comes your water “…. The suspense is killing me !
YES! HAHAHA! THANKS SO MUCH.....
JJ have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
I’d hate living that close to my neighbor, gross. Great coverage.
So sad to see these wonderful homes go up just before Thanksgiving! Awesome coverage, JJ! Always amazing to watch FDNY members and Chiefs attack a very difficult fire and their attempts to minimize extensions to adjoining structures. Have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving, JJ!
Great coverage John. I watched it over on FireNet.
SUPER COOL AND OF COURSE THANKS SO MUCH.....
Hi John These houses were very too close together. FDNY did a great job as they could have lost about 5 or 6 houses Great videp --- Debbie
Great coverage on this fire John Your the best
WELL THAT IS MOST KIND OF YOU WILLIAM....THANKS SO MUCH.....
great coverage John what a serious & sad fire effecting quite a few homes
YES IT WAS INDEED KENNY ESPECIALLY NEAR THANKSGIVING DAY.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Happy Thanksgiving FDNY John !
Awespme video.Stay safe
THANKS SO MUCH BERNIE.....
Great job 👍 on video nice roof angle ... FDNY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ super job .. these old houses so close together so dangerous , horrible heavy fire.. prayers 🙏 to the victims losing there homes ..the temperature is cold 🥶...
Great Job Joe
THANKS SO MUCH JOHN.....
I installed about a million replacement windows in that neighbourhood and Briggs Ave. in 1978-79. what a nightmare for those people, it looks like a horror movie.
YES, IT WAS BAD INDEED......THANKS SO MUCH.....
As always ❤
JJ, Thanks for the great video. You captured not only the images but the detailed radio traffic. The FDNY faced many obstacles (ie. close exposures, access to the structures and water supply issues) and did a terrific job in controlling the fire. Happy Thanksgiving. Ken K
One of the biggest problems was the street the were on is very narrow meaning that they couldn't get a lot of trucks in that neighborhood
YES, LOTS OF MOVING PARTS AND THEY WERE ALL BAD.....DOUBLE PARKED CARS, DEAD HYDRANTS, WIND AND CLOSE TO EACH OTHER OLD, OLD HOMES.....THANKS SO MUCH KEN.....
I really hate for anyone to lose their house to fire as New York winters are absolutely brutal. Hopefully the Red Cross are helping the families who lost their homes or hopefully they have family that can help. Awesome coverage as always Jon. Be sure to stay safe out there.
They will put these people in canvas tents while the migrants get to sleep in 5 star hotels with “Culturally Sensitive meals” and a stipend..
That was a lot of fire jj, hope there was no injuries. stay safe ,, Happy Thanksgiving.
YES, THERE WAS AND A LOT OF PROBLEMS.....THANKS SO MUCH AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING.....
This reminded me of a fire at a good friend's house. They had a 2nd story porch room w/a wood burner that caught fire. Nobody hurt luckily, and same sort of fire damage. Not sure if that was the cause here.
Wow amazing work by John and the nyffd
Regarding the houses being that close together, is that any different/worse than row houses sharing a common wall? Just curious. Thanks!
that house fire was a disaster there are a lot of good fire crews in ny York brad
YES AND THANKS SO MUCH.....
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 any time brad
Everyone has a dish , must be no cable tv there
I started my firefighting career back in the 80's. Back then no one cared when folks stood around and watched or as in your case, got up close with a camera to catch the action. Just so long as they weren't in the way or creating a hazard, aka using common sense. Today I see so many muni's where LEO's show up and start yelling for everyone to get back, clear the street, etc. Ive even seen instances where they were yelling at people to get off their own lawns and porches at homes across the street no where near the fire or equipment. Glad to see these folks letting you do what you do 👍
I wish you would make a "wish list" or something like it , so we can donate for you, to get a heavy coat, fireman boots, warm gloves, a light coat for summer, a hat of some kind to keep your head dry and ears warm. Please help us help you.
All for it. I would love to help you John in anyway I could to keep you safe as possible and warm during the conditions, so that you can do what you do best to the best of your ability. LET THE FANS KNOW JOHN SO WE CAN HELP, AND IM PRETTY SURE THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE THAT WANT TO SUPPORT. 🚒🚑🚒👨🏾🚒👨🏻🚒🧑🏾🚒👩🏻🚒
Horrendous Fire! Praying for the Members and Residents.
YES, IT WAS BAD INDEED.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 we are heading to Ohio for Thanksgiving. Be safe my friend and I hope you have a quiet Thanksgiving Day too!!
Must be new dispatcher....wow
Houses are so close to each other you could crawl through the window from one to the next all the way down the street. The developers didn't care about fire safety at all.
Thank you for, “hauling ass,” to film this. Great coverage from the roof.
Thanks John! Wouldn't a tower be good there?
You always amaze me how you get up on roofs. Was that a business you were on?
Edit: Saw the tower later. Thought it would have been used earlier.
Hey JJ, you mentioned it was bitterly cold while filming. We were wondering what the temp was actually. Could you add the temp to the beginning screen just for us curious folks. As always we enjoy your coverage and your commentary.
Holy cow, so much chatter on the radio!
YES, IT WAS QUITE HECTIC DUE TO MANY ISSUES DURING THAT FIRE.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Please point out to us what specific radio transmissions that you believe were unnecessary. Kindly provide us with the time stamps. A lot of us here would like to learn.
I guess there is never a good time for a fire, but it is sadder this happened just before Thanksgiving.
Tough without any tower ladders to hit from above.
hi john amazing coverage on the 3 alarm fire the in house great work to all the fdny brother awesome job on the video
Bic fire John Top video👌👍
Wait the garbage problem will triple when Adam’s cuts the garbage department, and others because of the Migrants draining the city’s money!
How did the fire get to the attic of the second house? Seemed to be quite a distance away?
Because fire is hot
@@virgilhilts3924 thanks for the enlightenment. I never would have known.
@@denniskoller5662
Well you asked and I answered
Many people do not grasp the sort of radiant heat a structure fire can give off.
Least a fella can understand their radios , their online broadcastify feed not so much
Why are some linea just shooting water in the air? Serious question
THEY ARE NOT JUST SHOOTING WATER IN THE AIR.....THEY ARE SHOOTING FROM INSIDE THE BUILDING INTO THE CEILING TO TRY AND PUT OUT POCKETS OF FIRE.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
They are probably protecting the exposure as well
🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁LION c LIKE No. 43 -----> 23 degrees in North Dakota~!
Great coverage, great angles as always. Tough fire especially with water supply problems. Too bad NY government is focused on free rides for illegals instead of infrastructure. But sanctuary city!

And why do you suppose that garbage is all over the street and sidewalks?
Who was on the initial Box assignment John; nice coverage Bro!
That's why it's not good to live in a house very close to other houses because once one home catches fire the rest of the homes goes up in flames.
They found a person dead in the attic you didn't see the news
Congratulations jj I heard your sons surgery was successful you. Are a proud father of a transgender daughter now
Too much radio traffic...that is an emergency in itself
WELL, THEY NEED COMMUNICATIONS BUT THX.....
That’s why they use direct channels instead of repeater channels.
What information did you hear transmitted that you felt was unnecessary and made the situation worse? Please provide us with the time stamps. Many thanks!
