Great early arrival video. Thank you for no unnecessary, play-by-play and chatter. Radio does the talking.
Thank you for your work as an RN in the emergency ward and also in the fire department. Your comments were very important to first responders. Everything you said was so true. I would deliver a patient in the hospital and Ken made a connection with that patient and I didn’t wanna leave. I have one call that haunts me to this day. I have taken PTSD training or whatever it’s called and it has worked but if I take the time to think about it and bring the right back it is brain stopper for sure. Thank you again for your work your hero for sure.
Oh, by the way, does it matter with your paid or volunteer. Doesn’t matter. I give more credit to the volunteer firefighters. They do it for free I was paid.
As a past member of Engine Company 42 which was the busiest engine in the city in the 70s, you never feature them on U Tube. They're a no truck house.
Nice work guys keep it
Are you serious? Anything involving FDNY is a guaranteed shit show.
@@timweis3265 What was done incorrectly at this operation? And what specifically makes this overall operation a "shit-show"?
Nice job on the drone footage. Next challenge should be to try and incorporate the FDNY radio transmissions with the drone footage. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Can anyone confirm information about the victims Thank you
At what point in the video was the rescue underway.
I know this is 5 months ago, but is there any news on the "trapped kids" nothing has been mentioned. Thanks
The murdered out helmets on some guys looks really friggin' good.
They aren’t “murdered out” they are covered in soot
That looks like a difficult one hard work trying to find the seat of fire in all that smoke
@FlipSwitch Games did everyone make it out? were the children saved? pets?
Raf something’s when I put a patient in the backboard they flop around like a fish
hey
One thing I don’t get about New Yorkers is, they have all these fire escapes but they never use them (the civilians)
most get out or find a point of egress before having to use them
As a Firefighter, I know that the worst call you get is always something involving a child, what drone is that?
just an aerial of the scene after it was knocked down. It's near the end of the video.
Oh, put your comic books away. Did you even see them remove children? Did you even see them masked up to find and remove children? Did you even see them acting like real firefighters? Joining Up, (sort of) Dressing Up and Showing up does not a firefighter make!
@@JB91710 Hey JB, where should the deck gun have been used at this fire? And what was the bald headed civilian in the T-shirt @ the 5:24 mark saying about 7 kids on the 2nd floor?
@JB, why so salty Jack ? Couldn’t pass the psych and physical to be a paid FF ? 🤔. Tell me Jack, how much actual fire did you see as a volly in VT ? I’d bet not half as much as any volly Dept in NYS and your gonna bash the FDNY who is arguably the best FD in the world ! Stick to skiing, cuz you have no credibility with people who know where you were a volly, you’re just a wannabe ! FYI Jack, I was a volly in a real FD on Long a island and you wouldn’t have lasted a weekend with us !
@JB91710 Keep in mind this is just 13 minutes of a 1 hour job (an hour and two minutes to be specific.) Units were informed that there were both people possibly hanging out the windows and off the fire escape and kids stuck and/or trapped on the 2nd floor. The video also shows multiple firefighters masked up starting both ventilation, fire fighting duties and searches.

.
Ok, I understand the breaking every window to vent the building, cause not every dept has fans, but why knock all the merchandise off the shelves?
ever been in a job ? Didn’t think so
@@DonDon-zm3vz so instead of a stupid ass uninformative reply, apparently you don’t know either
Let the firefighters be firefighters man
Worked a many fires, and they always told us not to break windows.
Sometimes we couldnt open them, so had no choice
Whoever told you that is wrong. Break them with the timing of a hose line.
Most officers are good at becoming officers, and that's about it.
@@JB91710lol what?
@@williamlogullo8452 Think about that.
@@JB91710 on this job
So many people standing around doing nothing lol.
