Fire finally got knocked down but don't understand why they kept spraying in the beginning when told to get out and at the end also. Just saying. You did a great job with your info on the situation. Looking at the many faces of the members, they all seemed very serious, exhausted, and semi-boiled! They didn’t seem to have the extra umph to even smooze with each other a bit. I hope the injuries are minor. I am sure heat-related issues must have been in the mix. Thank you JJ for facing the horrible heat so we can sit by the fan! Chicago has those old multi-layer siding places. Vinyl, then (usually asbestos) Insul-Brick, then the original clapboard. Gotta peel it like layers of an onion to make sure the fire's fully extinguished.

Your viewers again get to see how stubborn a fire in the cockloft can be. Several weeks back when you returned to the scene of another Bronx fire in a MD and showed the top of the building let your viewers see see the actual construction of a cockloft and it’s narrow space obstructed by rows of rafters to help understand how tough it is to attack a fire there. On a lighter note anyone who wants to do exterior renovations can simply call truck 14 siding removal services.
Hey Bud, when you guys are working a fire, I always notice signs and lights on. I would think as soon as the fire is reported they would kill the electric in the affected area. Is that normal for you guys to do your thing with electric on?

Hi John, I feel for and those Firies continually putting up with the heatwave over there. Here in Australia we are having a very mild winter and our snowfields will probably close early and I'm afraid we could be in for a dangerous fire season over summer. Those 2 buildings (fire building and exposure) were they wood frame and vynal or aluminium siding? Seems so common place now. Just a question, I often notice a company called "Caveman or Cavemen", where are they based?
The Cavemen house (E40/L35) is located on the upper west side of Manhattan, near Lincon Center.
