Wow, what an articulation from the young swami, straddling two seemingly diverse worlds of sampradaya and science. Science is struggling in many areas like reconciling quantum mechanics with relativity theory, postulating about eternal inflation theory, cyclic universe etc. Under these circumstances, the way to follow and move forward is our own sampradaya path shown by purvacharyas.

In State like TN, where our Dravidians basically question the very existence , we shd first address that , Then as and when time permits, we can go to next level of year/centuries or BD or AD , lacs of years etc

Sir, exactly like you mentioned, vast majority of Indians seem to think there is a dearth of educated people simultaneously nurtured by sanatana dharma, satsanga, traditions, customs and high values; there is not a single discourse where these "select few" have not mentioned countless times about their degrees, university names despite graduating from those places 15-16 years ago 😂
or the fact they have toured and lectured countless places; again like you rightly brought it out, the world thinks these candidates have touched the zenith of both worldly and spiritual realms. With so many schools of harikatha around every corner these days, and the existence of educated yet humble candidates like you have ushered forward today, it is only a matter of time that more sense will prevail in the very near future. I wonder why such youngsters do not give more discourses or lectures. Bevause I dont think great seers or pointiffs or Gurus are going to get on national TV even if they were to be given a mic as they are either Jivanmuktas or people with Atmanubhuti. The only hope is to spoil the audience with choices from more educated/ humble backgrounds that are not swayed by limelight or fame.

Me too, still a learner. In this conversation, I agree with the views presented by Dr. Sri Balaji Swamy. They appear clear and valid to me. Thank you for enlightening me with your views.
Nevertheless, I do not understand the intention of this video. Is it to provide clarification on the DoB of Lord Rama, or is it to target a person? I think it is for the latter reason. Yes, respected Dushyanth Sridhar might be wrong on what he has conveyed. But have both Swamy's tried contacting Dushyanth Sridhar and conveyed your displeasure for misinterpreting the actual facts to the public and condemning him directly as this was authored by him? Because Swamy is concerned about the public, it would be best to inform the author and condemn him for sharing such information, right? Educating the general public about this misinformation is fine. But I see a couple of instances where Swamy's take a direct dig at his movie or mocking from 38:00 to 38:50 about the person for apparently staging such a lavish book release function. Are these conversation topics ever so slightly related with the DoB of Lord Rama?
This doesn't appear right for me to remain silent while mocking a learned person. Coming from a respected Guru lineage, I am sure that mocking a person (when the person is not in the picture of conversation) or "remaining silent" while this is being done would never be entertained by their respected Gurus or Acharyas. "செய்யா தனசெய்யோம்; தீக்குறளைச் சென்றோதோம்". Instead of having a direct conversation with the concerned person, I see a lot of videos on the CZcams channel, "Our Temples Our Pride Our Right", where the swamy speaks with everyone else apart from the concerned person. As of today, approximately, 10+ video's on this topic with everyone else apart from the person concerned. Unbelieveable intentions to seek people's support to start a party against a person, is it?. This clearly conveys the motive for such an act, and the intentions are very visible. The actions speak volumes about the intentions of the Swamy.

One thing- I don't stand for anyone.But what is irrefutable is both Ms. Jayasri & Sri. Dushyanth are doing yeoman service, in reaching the public with lots of information from our scriptures etc , which otherwise , do not happen normally. For instance Ms.Jayasri, established some events of Saint Ramanuja' s life as true with evidence, when they were questioned by some established scholars. Similarity Dushyanth is instilling lot of interest in young & old alike through his discourses and debates in matters connected with our religious literature . These are very valuable services deserving respect of all sanathanis. Therefore, even if they are wrong in arriving at the date of birth of Sri Rama,to dismiss them both as being,' liars' & 'idiots' in toto, in public domain,some sort of sweeping generalisation is against natural principles of justice and a singular disservice to the cause of sanathana dharma. Refutal , in all fairness, should be restricted to the particular point of contest and needs to be couched in a decent language devoid of rancour and aggressive overtones. I urge upon Sri.Rangarajan to issue a public statement to this effect to put things in perspective. This will help reverse character assassination ( that is what has unwittingly happened now) of the two who were really meticulous otherwise.

I too was initially hesitant to support the harsh tone of Sri Rangarajan Swami. However, after seeing some of the attempts made by Smt Jayasree to prove her point by hook or crook [i.e. by misinterpreting Shastras left right and centre in her own whimsical ways], I perfectly understand the harshness of the tone.
Simple question: Have they both even said, "Now that we've learnt that so many learned people from the Sampradayam have rejected our inferences and our interpretations, we are willing to revise our stance" and demonstrated the Sri Vaishnavathvam they both are flaunting? No, right? Let them do that first.

It is astronomy software. With the limited information from Valmiki RamayaNa, the software calculates when was the last time such planetary alignments occurred. One possibility was perhaps 7000 years ago.
We don't know what was the astronomical model used in the algorithm and the error petcentage.
Because, time is cyclical, such planetary alignments are possible at earlier epochs too. Why is time cyclical? Because planets have a closed orbit around the sun. Our ancient astrnomy texts (Surya Siddhanta, for example) knew about heliocentric model.
It's logical reasoning to assume it can be 7000 or 70000 or 7 lakh+ years earlier also, but when you see, independent correlated secondary evidence, pratyaksha pramana, you have to rethink.
None of these interviews speaking about research on the Nala / Rama Sethu. What was the age of the soil below (around 7000+ years it is) and what is the age of the rocks age found to be much older, meaning itself an artificial formation that proves man made Sethu at the same time giving hints on the age of that Sethu. This is called secondary evidence pratyaksha pramana.
As you rightly said the target audience is youngsters. Sridhar said he chose English for the current audience. He did not claim any research in Ramayana. He has retold the story. Not every one can study the way Balaji Swami has done. Pl stop this campaign !

It’s not retelling of Ramayana if the facts are misrepresented. If you cannot study the way Balaji Swami had done, you cannot claim to be a Vedic scholar. You cannot give upanyasams. Dushyanth has claimed that he’s been doing research. People have travelled to places with him while he claimed it. This campaign is very much needed. I hope it continues till Dushyanth apologizes and retracts his books

Let me answer the question of why the researcher has limited their search to less no of years.
This is referred to as premeditated view. Premeditated is the "FIRST NO NO" in science. They have created an artificial limitation in order to suit their ore-formed biased conclusion.
This is why Adiyen said the researchers research can't be called science! So there is no need to sweat it out, though I understand the reason for your rebuttal.
For the very same astrological parameters, there could be many points in time going all the way to Thretayuga.
What they have done is brought in their own bias, which makes this subjective and unobjective.
True objectivity lies in understanding our lives in the vobtext of our Acharyas. You are leading everyone in the right direction.
