Do people remember Alan Shearer for winning the premier league or for being the Premier League's greatest goalscorer?
Exactly!!! Nobody will remember Kane going to Bayern cause all that makes him is a sellout
Once someone passes Shearers record he will still be remembered for winning the title. What will Kane be remembered for when his record is broken?
the reason why he is never considered better than guys like wayne rooney and thierry henry are those trophies
This really is the key point - and only 29 likes. Shows how people miss the point so badly. Maybe you should say something meaningless like 'I am a diverse person and I think racism is bad' and get like 10k likes instead.
@@S0L12D3 in no way would him going to Bayern Munich make him a sellout⊠sorry thatâs an insane take.
He wonât lose his legendary status by leaving to seek a champions league. Henry certainly didnât.
We have a really recent example of what goals amount to:
Mbappe at WC final. Scored a hat-trick yet no one looked sadder that night.
thats a world cup man not a league title. Thats a completely completely different thing
@@Jgarthebeast Yeah it's something that way less effort is spent on when compared to a league campaign.
Terrible example as that hat trick wonât define his career. Kanes goals do.
Terrible example. You act like Harry Kane isn't trying to win. He probably feels the same disappointment Mbappe did when Spurs lost the CL final or when England got knocked out.
Mbappe already has a World Cup trophy so itâs not the same thing.
Haaland has spent just a year in the pl and countless records are gone already.. records can be always broken that feeling of winning and gaining success for your efforts is the ultimate
Records are meant to be broken, trophies are forever
Not enough people have the brain to have this mindset
Tell that to the Intertoto cup đ
Id rather break the record. Who gives a fuck about a league titel if its not the EPL
Unless they change the competition then your medal becomes obsolete
@@sven1966 because that record will be broken, and youâd be forgottenâŠ
People are so fickle. If Kane leaves and goes abroad, they'll be debating if Kane 'sold his soul' for trophies.
Can't please everybody
No they won't you literally made up a fake narrative.
Good comment, terrible name
Personally he has earned the right to trophy hunt
i mean, its true.
I donât care what anybody says: Kane will not be remembered as one of the greats without major trophies to his name. All those goals and for what? For absolutely nothing! You cannot possibly tell me heâd be considered better than the likes of Lewandowski, Suarez, Benzema, Zlatan etc. once he retires. What do all those players have in common? They scored a lot and they won trophies doing it. Their goals meant something. Not just some number.
No matter what Kane does, he won't be roundly considered better than those players.
Premier League record scorer, England top scorer. and you say he won't be remembered as a great. You're funny.
@@tsampson6660 He wonât, one day those records will be surpassed by another player.. and then what will be left of his supposed legacy?
â@@bullereye111 he will still be remembered as one of the best scorers of his era.
Ken Griffey Jr. never won a ring and never broke the home run record but people still remember him for his sweet swing and how he played the game.
@@deleach18 Its a bit like how everyone remembers the villa strikers who won the European cup in 1983. You know it was whats his name that guy?? Oh yeah that's right no one remembers him. But I remember who England's number 9 was at that time.
@@thf3038 such a dumb comment
Personal records solidify your legacy, trophies build it. Messi or Ronaldo with the same goal records but no trophies doesn't have the same impact
couldnât have put it better
or you could be Isco, with god knows how many champions league winners medals and already forgotten for being a nothing part of that squad
@@tsampson6660 forgotten by who?? by english fans . Every real madrid fan remembers him as being top 5 best midfeildrs in the world for a period of 1 year who helped madrid win 2 european cups including taking beznema's and bale's place in the lineup. Football is not basketball. Its not an individualistic sport. if kane has 0 trophies by the end of his career because he wanted to break sheraer's record, no one will give a fuck about such a weak minded footballer
Kane is never going to be as good as Messi or Ronaldo anyways so it doesn't matter.
They are unique in that they are competing to be the greatest of all time. This requires trophies. Kane is just a great player in his era. This doesn't necessarily require trophies.
@@do7137 I fear for your future
Imagine the number of goals he'd have by now if he'd joined man city in say 2016.
Harry Kane leaves >> Spurs end up mid table >> Fans start uprising >> Levy resigns = Great Success.
Leads to spurs being a mid table club all over.
Records get broken, trophies are immortal so this is an easy choice. The only record Iâd view as lasting the longest is Messiâs goals in a calendar year. I also think Ronaldoâs most goals in a UCL season will last for a while but not as long.
Honestly - very tricky one. As a Spurs fan I would love him to stay but also as a Spurs fan I feel he needs to go. Whether that be abroad or to Utd that man deserves more than his goal scoring records. I feel that the Utd move makes the most sense for trophies and the goal record. But if he decides to stay I would not be surprised if he smashed the Pl record - heâs not ever 30 doesnât use pace anyway and is only 50 off which is about 2 seasons. if he plays like lewandowski or benzema I could easily see him playing until 35/36 like them. That would probably mean barring any injuries he problem gets to around 300 league goals. Now in todays game with there being far less loyalty and with the allure of Real Madrid and Barca I think it would take a very very long time for anyone to break that.
In modern football it would be crazy for Kane to finish his career and not have won anything. Back in the past when the super clubs were not as dominant and players did not move around around as much he probably would have won a cup or two with Spurs (like Glenn Hoddle did in the Eighties). Some players in the past we think of have won alot, did not actually win that much for example George Best won just three trophies with Man Utd (two league titles and the European Cup). But in modern football with the bigger squads, it would be mad that Kane did not win anything. Especially when you think of the squad players who barely played have won trophies in the last thirty years, (David May for example) or were just awful but were in the right place at the right time (Djimi Traore European Cup winner).
Messi Ronaldo Lewa Benzema they all have trophies leagues UCLs etc but the premier league all time top scorer is such a unique accolade. And to do it at a club thatâs won NOTHING is even more impressive
Bro messi Ronaldo Lewandowski and benzema has won ucls and multiple trophies with goal scoring records also. Kane is chasing for goal scoring records but still has no trophies. It's better to have both
@@vishnuanil9321 they have the trophies because they were a part of great teams whereas Kane has stayed at a mediocre team for most of his career
@@chickensoup4347 first off we shouldnât even be putting kanes name in the same breath as messi and Ronaldo and they didnât always have great teams but they still did what kane canât and thatâs carry them to a title with those average teams
@@Lil_tro_Vert my point is that it is a unique accolade to have to your name, Iâm not saying heâs comparable to Messi or Ronaldo. Those two have never played in a team as bad as this spurs team btw. 30 league goals in this spurs side is more impressive than 36 Haaland achieved in Cityâs.
Heâll be remembered for having the record and no trophies to go with it. Thatâs his legacy
He really won't though let's be honest. In 25 years, people will see his statistics and consider him a great. Obviously.
There will be some little nerd that does his research and says 'ah but he never won a trophy', and nobody will care. See, football is a team game. That means a lot of it is out of your control.
The fact that no player has ever scored more league or international goals in the league and international team he plays for cement him as a boss. Obviously. What are you guys on really
@@tsampson6660 In 25 years, people will see his statistics and no trophies and consider him a flop. Obviously he couldn't perform when it mattered if he didn't win anything.
ââ@@tsampson6660 thank you! Mate I don't get how it's so hard for people to understand this đ
@@tsampson6660 Exactly. Everyone remembers Gary Lineker as an england legend and one of the best strikers of his generation despite having 0 league titles and 0 European cups to his name.
@Joseph Kerrigan nobody but idiots will consider Harry Kane a flop.
If Harry Kane goes to City and wins a title it will be like Kevin Durant joining the Warriors.
I'd rather be like Charles Barkley and try to win it with your own team and fail rather than just take the easy way out. Nobody remembers Barkley as a flop, they remember him as a Hall of Famer who was very good but played during the era when M.J. and the Bulls won every single year.
Records like the League Scoring record mean next to nothing. Itâs not like every single top goal scorer has played in the league his whole career. Guaranteed Shearers record would have been broken by now by plenty of people if they were here for longer. Trophies over records every time.
You could say the same about trophies
@@JasonWilliams89 no you canât. You win the league in a season no one can come along and re-win that season.
@@BlueBloodPenn That has nothing to do with what you just said lol
@@JasonWilliams89 itâs an exact example. Regardless of the what someone else achieves you canât lose trophies once you win them, whether you played for 15 seasons in the league or 1.
@@JasonWilliams89 You could, but you'd have misunderstood the point.
Iâd rather break Shearer and Rooneyâs goal records than win one Premier League as an average squad player.

Itâs more like running a marathon, having 5 miles to go and then deciding to go and win the 200m gold medal instead. Then maybe even add a 100m gold too.
Important to remember than Shearer scored 23 goals before the premier league (as much as people would have u believe football started in 1992) making his total 283 so Kane would have to have at least 3-4 20+ goal seasons. I would rather score one cup winning goal over 300 league goals that ultimately achieved nothing. What will people remember.
lol no, who cares that man city beat stoke in 2011 to win the fa cup?
Okay, if we're going to play that game, then it's not even Shearer's record. It's Jimmy Greaves' and no one is touching that
@@owenthompson5214 no one cares coz Man City have had sucesss afterwards
Kane can go abroad for a couple seasons, get some medals and still come ack to the PL to keep going for it. He isn't a pace merchant, he will age better as a result. Maybe he goes back to Spurs or another club but Kane can probably go until he is 37 or 38. He still has 3, maybe 4 years in him if he goes to Bayern for a few seasons. And if he needs that 4th season at 38 yo to break it because he is 5 or 6 goals behind still you can bet there will be a club willing to take him. Even if it is a newly promoted Middlesbrough or something. The record can wait, his move to a league title winning club can't
He needs a league and/or a European cup. Just like Gerrard and Shearer. Unless you have one, you can never be one of the greats
Wrong
IMO- the same people who think Kane should go for trophies cannot turn around and say the Arsenal had a better season than United. One has a Cup the other doesn't. I think it is a difficult decision- to be hailed as one of if not the greatest legend at Spurs or to have personal legacy? And also that is discounting if Kane wins anything at Spurs he instantly skyrockets his legacy whereas going elsewhere the trophy has to be more substantial. I think the NBA comparison is valid- a lot of their greats are considered that despite not having a ring and they are mentioned in the same breathe as the MJ, Kobe etc. whereas not every player who has won a ring is remembered. Will Kane be remembered if he goes and gets a trophy elsewhere? Who cares then? Equally it's important to have that medal for yourself- tough choice I wish him well whatever he chooses.
The guy can give his grandchildren a Golden Boot from the World Cup...
The marathon analogy is gold, 10 miles left?! He may as well give up thatâs almost half the race and heâs tired already carrying Spurs for most of a decade đ
Craig is to close to this conversation for him to not become overly emotional.
Alan Shearer said heâd give up his goal records to have won an FA Cup or League with Newcastle.
Every season there are over 80 medal winners in the domestic competitions ⊠one golden boot⊠one record holder till your record is beaten⊠itâs why shearers name is repeated weekly all over..
The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. Itâs nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It is about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.
Itâs a good point football is about the glory and if Kane is all time top scorer he will always be remembered. People donât remember more than half the players with medals but they will remember the player with the most goals itâs the reason Shearer is still talked about if he just won with Blackburn he may occasionally get the odd mention but not much.
For example when comparing Ronaldo and Messi the first stat people go to is goals not titles. Players want to be remembered and Trophies are fantastic but fans usually donât think about individual players when it comes to trophies they think of their team winning. People will remember Kaneâs name but if you look at any team whoâs won trophies if you go back a few years you canât even remember half the players unless itâs the team you support.
@@GuitarJammerJohn đŻ % you look at some of the pony backup youth at Man U who won leagues in the Ferguson years etcâŠ
While Dan Marino still has a few records, all the important ones have fallen since he retired. But he never won a Superbowl. Which do you think he regrets most?
You act like he didn't try to win the Superbowl.
Harry Kane tried to win silverware with Spurs, it just hasn't happened for whatever reason. They've had huge name managers, a big budget...it just didn't happen. It is what it is, appreciate Kane for the performances he gave us as an athlete, that's all you can do.
Kane will still be at the top of his game at 34/35, he can break the record and then get a move abroad
There's no way an individual award is more important than a team trophy.
I've never understood this argument. Just because a player wins a title that doesn't mean they are necessarily good... It just means that they were lucky enough to play for a successful team. Whereas being the top Premier League scorer of all time proves you are good. Jeremie Aliadiere won a Premier League title... Does that make him better than Harry Kane? Darren Gibson won one... Does that make him better than Steven Gerrard?
well said
Hundreds of players have won a trophy and been forgotten. Hundreds.
Not a single player has ever been the Premier League and England record goalscorer and then been forgotten.
Goodnight and god bless folks, this one was real simple.
There is the very real possibility that Kane leaves and doesn't win a trophy elsewhere. Spurs could even win a trophy before him.
A record in the Premier League isn't worth as much as a record in the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB. These North American leagues are the main competition in their respective sport. The EPL is not.
If you want individual awards go play tennis/golf. Itâs all about playing for a top team and winning major trophies, scoring them goals under pressure to win a premier league
Why not both? go to united, win trophies, break the record đ€·ââïž
United arenât gonna win the league for sometime
United wonât win the league with the Dutch Tony pulis in charge
I'd respect the loyalty if he stayed, but think it would be a mistake. Being a club legend is great but if it was that at Spurs, or gambling on a league title or cl I think he needs to move on. i think staying in the prem fits him, but the options would be limited.
United could do great next year or it could just be more of the same inconsistency and flattering to deceive.
Chelsea with Poch makes some sense but they have Lukaku to shift and have seemingly spent a lot already - maybe part ex? would Lukaku accept Spurs and vice versa? i think he'd want a CL team personally.
Newcastle would also be a gamble, can they improve on their great season is the question. Imagine he took Shearers record playing for his old club though. If it wasn't for Wilson he could even do it in the number 9 shirt. That almost seems to good to be true, massive risk though as even though its a forward move its diagonal at best.
Any chance he stays another season then leaves? the options are not great right now.
Kane at Bayern would only be special if they win the CL. League titles are by default for them, no glory. Record is what will make Kane remembered.
Man Utd, PSG or Bayern is a MUST for Kane
nearly got through the whole video without brian mentioning either pep or sterling
Most people now remember Shearer in the black and white being the Premier Leagues top goal scorer. I bet most younguns who aren't avid football historians will have to be reminded that he won the Premier League with Blackburn. When anyone does break his record he'll still be in the conversation and a new generation will know his name. How many people, even this year will think of Kalvin Phillips as a Premier league winner?
Phillips situation completely different to Kane, Henry and Aguero will be remembered more fondly than Kane, because their goals led the way to league titles.
Itâs the Kick Off not the Tip Off đ
A goal in a final is worth 5 in the league. Drogba hasn't scored anything like Kane but people remember him for scoring some of the biggest goals in Chelsea history. What goes against Kane as well is he doesn't have a goal record in big games. A very good player but the great players do it in the big moments
Your personal Memories override medals and records. If your a type of person that can be satisfied with your own memories then the rest don't matter. You can't take anything with you when your dead. If Kane wants to beat the record and understand it's gonna get beat eventually but he will always have that with him. It doesn't matter what we think.
Trophies are more valuable than personal accolades for any ambitious player
Harry Kane has 3 goals in 13 semi finals and finals. He had chances to win trophies, but he goes missing. That CL final vs Liverpool, he was anonymous.
Yes letâs blame one man for an entire teamâs poor performance. I didnât know he was supposed to take the ball from the goalie and score all by himself. That whole Tottenham team was bad.
@@henrymartins4549 Im a spurs fan pal, i know how poor we've been. Potch is equally to blame for dropping Moura for that final match. But it goes to show, for England and Spurs, he goes missing in big games.
@@Khitomer286 Moura had his ronny rosenthal moment in ajax but lest be honest, if he starts moura and we still lose (which we would have) people would have said why didnt he start kane?
The LeBron argument is a flawed one because of the amount of trophies he's still managed to get. In his case the scoring record is simply an argument as to why he could be considered the goat. A more accurate comparison would be Karl Malone - he's third all-time in terms of points in the NBA, beating the likes of MJ and Kobe. But despite of that he isn't even top 10 all-time for most people because he lacks in trophies and other achievements. I think the same will happen to Kane unless he wins something tbh.
If Kane stays, their is no guarantee that he will break and then hold the record for any amount of years. Shearer had the luxury of being able to stay at his favourite Club and break the record without worrying about trophies ⊠because he won a title when he was young. Kane has nothing, and his talent deserves silverware
Unless he joins PSG or Bayern, there is no guarantee of him winning any trophies. City and Real don't want him.
Who wants 1 or 2 random Ligue 1 or Bundesliga winners medals at the cost of your legacy? Not me
And despite what people say now, Tottenham have everything in place to win trophies. Like any other club, they just have to play their cards right.
@@tsampson6660 you are viewing it from the perspective of an ignorant brit tho. Off course you dont care about those titles when you are surrounded in a premier league bubble. But luckily, footballers are not so stupid
his priority is 100% the prem goal record, he wonât mind not winning a trophy if he gets that record. He could go to a city or united and win the prem or atleast a trophy and be respected more. Going to bayern is a risk cus they might not win the UCL and if they donât heâll regret not staying in the prem cus bayern win the league regardless of him
U can win a trophy an be a part of the team that won a trophy that year or u can break a record an be the best ever goalscorer... To many people put to much weight on the trophies. That's a team achievement. A record is an individual achievement yeah it can be broken but your still the best until it is.. If it is.
Heâs gonna break the record
Wayne Rooney is remembered for the trophies not records
Rooney is remembered for shagging granny's
rooney is remembered because he didnât retire that long ago and people still remember watching him play, i dont hear many people talking about rooneys titles more than they talk about his talent and playstyle
This is the kickoff not the tipoffđđ
Wes brown won PL, but he wonât be remembered in history books for anything significant. Definitely for Kane goal record more important!
How many people have won a Premier league or champions league? Now how many people have been all time Premier league top goalscorer?
If he goes to bayern or psg and wins league titles, who would actually care after bayern win 11 in a row who is actually going to remember the guy who came in and won the 12th, and PSG are pushing Neymar out the door because all he ever did was win the league.
I'd stick with spurs even if he never wins anything he will be loved forever by spurs
Haaland breaking the pl record, would not be consider as a great achievement compared to kane, since Haaland is stat padding with City
What if he moves and get injury and cant play again or he dont win anythink the goal recored mite be the only thing he gets
As of today Harry Kane has a price and is only just the right side of 30. He could move to any big club willing to pay the money for him. But his fitness does come into question. He does suffer from injuries and might retire due to injury perhaps. Breaking the record would be cool and might not be broken for a very, very long time. Especially how football is today with players moving around and not staying in one league long enough to break any record. Alan Shearer did set the record but also he won the league. A medal is forever and you will always be remembered as a winner. Breaking the record is temporary and after a while you won't be remembered for that. Can you name the other players who broke the highest goal scorer records? I think Kane would be gutted to not win a trophy before he retires. He did want to leave Spurs for Man City to win trophies and medals. Otherwise he would stay at Spurs if the record is what he wanted most.
This is a TEAM sport winning trophies should always be more important than winning individual awards
Though i guess it depends on what the individual wants to get out of the game and leave behind
Mitch is stretching, even if Harry Kane goes to Bayern Munich thereâs no guarantee heâll win the Champions League đ
Craig is low-key jarring đ
All depends on what Harry Kane values more - individual achievements or collective accomplishments.
That spastic has no idea what heâs doing though
there are hundreds of winners medals, there is only one all time premier league goal scorer
Basketball has a different sport culture
To be the goat in nba you need not just stats but multiple championships.
If Lebron had the all time scoring record but 0 championships no one would consider him the goat
Breaking a record of such a high value as the all time goal scorer in the most competitive league... is a personal achivement.. winning a title with Bayern who would've won the league anyways is nowhere near in comparison.. You can "brag" to win the title that 1000+ other players won... or be the only one that dethroned the previous record holder...
They are talking like itâs Kaneâs decision. It is Levyâs decision. He canât do anything.
If Kane rots away at Tottenham or moves and doesn't get a trophy when someone like Halland breaks his record it'll be all the more funnier.
Kane needs to at the very least join a different club, fans en masse donât respect club legends who havenât won a trophy, just the way football fans are. Kane is too good of a player to be disrespected this much and the disrespect wonât stop until he wins a major trophy. I think he should go to Real Madrid or Bayern just to get one on the board. I donât think heâs far from guaranteed a trophy if he goes to united.
Winning the Bundesliga with Bayern is less prestigious than breaking the PL record. You can stick anyone in that Bayern team and they gonna win the league.
Also, the record will stand for long, because Haaland will probably get bored and leave for Spain. Kane has got 5-6 years left and he gonna pass 300 goals.
People are talking about Kane being guaranteed a trophy if he leaves Spurs. He isn't.
Kanes record for Tottenham would last longer than prem record
What about if kane wins a world cup but no club trophies?
the fact these guys think kane going to bayern and winning the bundesliga is a bigger achievement than breaking the premier league goal record is mind boggling
Thatâs why call Kane one of the best striker in the world is very wrong. Best players play for the team and are able to drag their team to win something and he never did and never will because he isnât one of the best.
I think the goal record is more impressive and people would remember him for ages compared to if he one like one premier league
@0:50 that's probably the worst analogy I've ever heard my life!
to the super league point - would anyone care about the PL record anymore if super league existed? - no one cares about the pre-PL goal record.....
Who will people remember in history more ole Gunnar Solskjaer or Kane? If you donât say Kane you know nothing
Sounds crazy but Iâm sure in Kaneâs head he holding out that one season He would win a prem or Champions league with Spurs.
I donât think the goal record being compared to the NBA scoring record is an good comparison.. the scoring title took 20 YEARS of consistent greatness to break. And itâs probably going to be around for another 50 years, if its ever broken. To have everything go right and avoid injuries for 20 YEARS is almost impossible.
If not Kane, Haaland could break the prem scoring record in 10 years. It will get broken at some point, but the NBA scoring title is extremely unlikely to be broken again.
Similar things get said whenever one is broken.
How about both. Go to united maybe u can fight for a pl trophy and break the record. Ten haag is a good manager.
Goal records will always keep him relevant in football folklore.
If he doesn't win trophies there will always be a BUT after though..
All Harry kane has to do is get out of spurs and sign for man United and he will break the all time premier League record and win trophies while doing it. Cause adding someone the quality of kane to a already good man United means the only was is up.
Nah if Kane left the Premier League for Bayern or PSG it doesnt guarantee a Champions League - imagine if he left the prem, didn't win a trophy and missed out on the all time top scorer record
Even he did win 1 Champions League with one of those clubs he won't be remembered in the same way as if he broke the all time top goal scorer - obviously the CL trophy would be amazing but the legacy of possibly suppassing a record that mightn't be broken for another 20/30 years, thats a proper legacy
People will forget about him being involved in that CL in a few years, Kane would be stupid to leave the prem and not try and beat thst record, he needs to play for a prem team more aspiration than spurs
Going to a club like bayern which is all but going to win the league with you there or not, I just don't see what that acheives for him ? Everyone will just say once he has the medal... "
yeah but it was bayern they win every year of course you won a title there". Like what is the point in that ?
Does anyone knows what end the Ronaldo and Messi GOAT argument?
I wonder if he's saying that because he wants him to stay in England... At United
If you win PL or the CL or FA Cup or all three people will always talk about you winning those trophies and if you only have goal scoring record there's is a time limit on how long people will talk about your goal scoring record because someone will come along and beat that record and they no longer talk about you being the greatest goal scorer of this club or of PL but they always talk about you being a PL or CL or FA Cup winner if Harry Kane want to be all time PL scorer then move to Manchester United or Chelsea try your luck at either of those clubs
?? look how many trophy winners have been forgotten lol, people will forget trophies way before they forget the all time goal scoring record, especially when talking about individuals and not teams
Personally I think itâs more of an achievement to say youâre the all time Premier League top goalscorer, and before anyone says it Haaland is not staying around long enough to break the record.
Whats point scoring all them goals if ya dont win anything
So he`ll retire as an empty stats merchant. Breaking the goal scoring record is a longevity award.

Can still call himself a former Premier league all time scorer, not many people can say that, theirs alot of champions league winners, from a lfc fan he needs to stay In the Prem IMO
Do you remember shearer for winning a trophy or for being all time premier league goal scorer?
The point being made is that once that record is broken people wonât remember shearer as an elite prem striker because he didnât win as much as the Rooneyâs or Henry. The thing thatâs keeping him the mix now, is that no oneâs broken his record yet.
Goal records are nothing if you don't win a Major trophy alongside it .Haaland will break the premier league altogether anyway.
Kane should just move to Utd or Liverpool and be on a team who will go and compete for a medal and can still get that record. It doesnât have to just be one or another
The problem is Levy. He won't sell to another Premier League club. It would have to be next when he's on a free and who's to say United or a top team in the prem will still want him because he'll be a year older
Harry Kane can either break the record, or go somewhere and be called a trophy chaser because he couldnt do it with tottenham. Just like how KD is talked about in the NBA
