We need house with land space at the back to do our own farming very important so we eat what we grow sell or freeze the surplus.

I feel like location is everything. No matter how luxurious the place is, I wouldn't spend that amount for that location. I know that not everywhere in clarendon is bad... but it has a bad rep with crime.

Actually, the glenmiur area has always been an upscale neighborhood in Clarendon, with nice houses and violent free. The entire Jamaica is a scary place to live. It's not like one region is immune to violence and others aren't.

I was thinking the same thing , there is something for everyone out there and these home are build to have a diverse community from the video , i personally thought they were nice to look at maybe not what i would buy but that ok , besides when you live in America for a while at lease for me Georgia mansion style house is just a talking point. Where in Jamaica can you work that that type of money to pay off this unit in 30 years? Just give the bank off your paycheck and eat air cakes? Even if you work abroad, you have to sustaintain your living expenses abroad too. Can't eat from the soup shop and live under the bridge?

Why is the living space so small?.
These are more like what I'd expect: more spacious - square footage and acreage. Now I'm interested. I like the designs. Not too cookie cutter like the majority of the other communities. Thanks guys.

Might I add that there is a primary school and 2 top rated high schools just a few minutes walking distance. I attended The Denbigh high school right across from there

what do we think 30 million is, a lot of money? 30 million Jamaican dollars is just 150 thousand Britsh Pound and about 200 thousand American dollars: these houses are basic in quality and definitely worth the money but if they were of luxury in quality with the size that they are currently, they would have been much more expensive and rightfully so! These houses represents the best quality for value for 30 million as compared to many other flimsy and poorly built houses I have seen in Jamaica right now:

I agree, it's too expensive. Plus if you notice they conveniently left out the monthly fees you'd have to pay for security, common access, etc we don't know what that is. Plus we don't know if it is condo or freehold ownership. The former is another monthly fees again. Liked the video tour but the right questions to be asked just wasn't asked unfortunately.

Thank you Delpratt for introducing us to another gated community. These are nice houses with great kitchen and bathroom fixtures, but the design does not appeal to me. Looking at it from outside, the house design seems “compressed”, almost too vertical, but that is my thought. I am sure it will appeal to others.

What are the cost of the detached units?
Would be nice if electrical wires were underground...front steps could reduce accessibility....too high for a main entrance...
Are the houses fitting with impact and sound proof windows?
Are the houses graded to be hurricane and earthquake resistance?
And what's the drainage like ?
It would be good to see the engineering drawings for the area to see the infrastructure.
Not sure development plans would be approved without the comminity not being able to withstand natural disasters
I’m sorry!! I don’t want a house I can’t re-model. There are new technologies that allows a house to have futures inside and out which means over many years you will want to change your roof your yard layout and design to match the times. What about a growing family who may want a bigger room are living space to accommodate more children if your that type of family ?? These house’s are for single and retired people not a growing family who are professionals
