- Hellooo there Legends! Today we are on another wonderfull creek mudlarking adventure and it is a joy to bring you all with us!! This week we were very lucky and found some really awesome pieces of history… Can you help us identify the mystery belters???

I think the brass piece, with the cut out stars, is likely a "vinaigrette box", which was a scent container. It held a sponge that perfume was poured on and the holes allowed the scent to escape. They came in many shapes with varying amounts of decoration.
I agree! I actually said “vinaigrette” out loud! 😆

My favorites would be a toss-up between the R. White Stoneware bottle and the blue Poison bottle. Great finds.

Hi guys it's only a guess but the barrel shaped pot reminds me of the drinking glasses that people brought back from seaside destinations they had a couple of brass bands around them for a little wooden handle attached to the bras bands 🤔

the brown glass just nakes me think honey pot. it looks a lot like honey bottles we had when i was a kid. except those were plastic.
Ooh so close on that elusive Torpedo bottle. I really do love the branding design on the R White stoneware bottle and wow that super wonky donk poison bottle
That glass barrel reminds me of the old Mickey's beer bottles. I'm sure what you found is much older than that but really looks similar.

I like the large clay vessel near Josie.
If you could cut the bottom of the broken torpedo bottle so it stands evenly, you could use it as the cover over a candle or like the globe of an old hurricane lamp. Nice finds 👍
According to what I found, the amber barrel jar could be an antique tobacco jar. It would have had a metal lid with a wooden handle

Hello J & A! Another great video, thank you! The brass tag is probably a tennis club membership tag issued in 1921 for one of London County Council's lawn tennis clubs. There is a very similar one presently on eBay.

The brown glass “honey pot” looks like a beer mug that has brass or copper fittings around the glass with a wood handle. Maybe?

That brown barrel is really nice..👍🏼👍🏼 and the complete poison is amazing but I held my breath as Josie went after the torpedo.. hang in there Josie, you're getting closer!
Very nice finds. I think the brass piece with the stars is the lid from a Victorian sugar shaker or sifter.

Hello Bob, good to hear from you. Pretty sure you are right about the mustard pot, someone has suggested a Moutarde Diaphane and sent us a similar pic which is awesome!
