Hey man, ive just bought pc upgrades except for my gpu, ive switched my cpu from an i7 4790 to a Ryzen 7 7700 my graphics card at the moment is a gtx 1660, im looking to play games like jedi survivor and the last of us part one on high to ultra settings on 1080p, what would you recommend my best option for a gpu upgrade be for around £300

Please don't do it it's a waste of money and electricity. Get the Ryzen 7 7800x3D for CPU and whatever good GPU you can afford. In competitive games, you want to play with low settings, meaning you don't need a super-good GPU, but instead, you want a good enough GPU and a great CPU.

Why are some 4060 gpu more expensive than others including any other gpu, i always see big price differences and i cant see why...???
Prices can't vary between manufacters and the project itself, some has better heat dissipation than others, some has more fans etc

Honest advice, just look up the gpu u wsnt on youtube with the word benchmark, for example “RX 7700 XT gaming benchmark” and u should get a bunch videos showing the fps and such, u can go based off that

compared to which GPU? I would not recommend the 4090 for 1080p resolution
if you're going to spend the 2k for a 4090 I'd advise you also upgrade your monitor. at least get a 1440p or you're practically wasting money at that point.

@@iNFERNALxKiLLA but yes it will increase your FPS but like shadow said. depending on what GPU you are replacing. make sure you got a CPU that won’t overly bottle knock your GPU.
Which one is your favorite GPU?
My favourite is the Rx 6800. It’s rly good for the price and great future proofing if paired with a good cpu

4060ti its not the best fps per dollqr but i love dlss 3.5 and frame gen for single player games and overall ray tracing looks fabulous
