@@TechTesters what about msi gaming x slim ???
what nuts
@@xxx333mmm i have the gaming x slim 16gb card and is brilliant
@@2kgamerz434 What are temps like? The thinner design must make it run comparably to 2 fan cards.
Not sure how many views you get here compared to other videos, but these type of videos are reeeally useful! Thanks!
I'm just happy it's appreciated :)
@@TechTestersYea please keep doing these videos. ❤💯
It does say the number of views in the description.
@@CoreGagaGames thanks for your great contribution, without it I wouldn't know where to look for it
@Games_and_Tech what does it take to be a gamer?
With so many other tech CZcamsrs making identical content, you've managed to provide an informative and entertaining video of something useful. 👏
Thanks!
exactly! coming from a 1080ti watercooled "standard PC" and not having taken a look at hardware for years the hardware martked now seems very awkward haha
Honestly not enough reviewers analyze/compare GPUs on this level. I love that you guys are doing this "niche" because it is usually information that is very painful to gather for an average consumer, and is more on the reddit "trust me bro" basis. So THANK YOU for doing the lords work, and saving me a shit load of time. This is awesome journalism.
Loving these roundup videos! Hope to see more of them in the future.
Great comparative review with some really decent specs and perspectives. Thank you for your time and efforts to share this with us all. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the informative video! Helped me choose which model to get! Take care!
Thank you for posting this excellent video. I really like your calm, factual and professionally delivered presentations. You are adding to my knowledge and preparing me well. Perhaps this year I will buy a higher end card.
Amazing video! Really appreciate all the effort put into this testing
Thank you for this. As much as I don't love the value proposition of the TI Super, it is the cheaper option for dual encoder and 16GB so it REALLY helps having this information to decide which on to get!
Well explained video, gave me a lot of useful information and now am sure what card get, thanks again.
Very nice and entertaining video. Quite detailed which is nice
got me the Ventus 3X recently, undervolted it and its a beauty, nice silent under load, less power draw while still running at 2700 Mhz
Glad you included the Inno3d. I have the Inno3d 4070 Ti X3 and it is nice for SFF to have a dual slot option. I would have considered a 7900XT but they don't have anything compact enough.
as always, great review and comparison, thanks a lot
My pleasure!
This video is great; relevant information, aesthetically pleasing video and you're doing an amazing job presenting everything! Absolutely amazing! ✨
Great as always. I would love to see the fan rpm with the dBA. It is nice to know how slow the fans can spin at the lowest dBA.
dB as a single number means nothing. We should see the spectrum also.
Great content! It really helped me to decide which one to get. Here in Brazil is pretty hard to find any of them at a reasanoble price, but your video cemented my choice, I'll go with the gigabyte gaming OC. I wish could get the aero, but here in Brazil is nearly impossible to find it. I was thinking about getting a 4080 Super, but again, here in Brazil the difference in price is almost 30% over the 4070 TI Super and taking in consideration that the performance difference hovers around 10 to 20% I could not justify the upgrade. Again, great content, I just subscribed and I'll sure check the channel for more contet relevant to me.
Very professional and objective, yet personal at the same time. Glad you point out that it's better to buy a cheaper version of a better card, than an expensive version of a lesser card, if you can afford the upgrade.
I thought this was common knowledge? 😅
lmao bot ass comment
These videos are so damn helpful! Thanks a ton!
These round ups are easily the most useful GPU content I've seen on any tech channel. Very, very helpful for making informed purchasing decisions, thanks very much ma'am.
much appreciated roundups...all of them very informative. Only suggestion would be to comment on the coil whine of each card. Fan noise is one thing but that coil whine can be concerningly loud.
I am aiming to buy one of this, thanks a lot! Love your videos... 😊
Hope it helped!
great comparison. I also watched this kind of video about the 4070ti, the ASUS TUF falls a bit behind in both tests. In comparisons from other institutions, this doesn't seem to be the case. Did you use the quiet bios or oc bios?
Great video, i'm saving for a mid-range pc where i live.... Brazil.
These 4070 ti models are kind off the sweet spot between "price per frame"... and the price gap between the "big brands" and the simpler ones does account for a big difference.
Now, paying with a credit card, the cheapest you can find is around 1.390 euros, you read that right, whereas the most expensive one cost around 1.705 euros.
The former is the inno 3d white edition and the latter is, as of course, the rog
Realising that there is no SUBSTANCIAL difference between them is actually pretty good, especially in a hotter country, where you're not really expected to use the silent bios version (wich is also an information not that widespread about wich versions have and wich don't)
I got myself a one from GALAX, and earlier I encountered issue where gpu sometimes would stop outputting display, and it's rpm would hit max speed. But changing power connection on psu (earlier I was using lower posrt connection for power, and then used one on top of my rm750e) not the cable, fixed the issue. My game would crash (days gone) under 2 hrs of gameplay, but now it's not crashing, even after 9+hrs of gameplay. Weird fix, but overall a satisfactory product, that I can recommend!! And when checking reddit, this issue is not bound to one specific brand...so fingers crossed if you do get one. But nonetheless, you'll get it fixed anyway through rnd or by yourself..
So make sure wherever brand you aare buying, take their customer care into consideration!
I recently got a 4070 ti super gaming oc and have been really happy with the performance jump from my old 2080 ti gaming x trio
Enjoy :D
That inno3D is a godsend for ITX lovers. I had, almost 8 months ago, to go search for a reference 7900XT, as it was the only 4K card small enough for a NZXT H1 v2. Not that I regret my choice, but it always is good to have options.
Is it noisy? Some says its loud even at idle
I bought an MSI Ventus 2X 4070 TI Super. It ran a bit hot until I undervolted it and now it hovers around 62C in Cyberpunk.
I thought the TI super isn't coming anymore. Thanks! Really appreciate it!
As someone who likes to have their hardware last for at least a decade, the weight of a card is a major concern as brackets don't completely eliminate sag and become ineffective if you ever need to move your PC. I'll end up going with an eagle oc model from gigabyte, still has metal backplate and dual bios but remains at around 950 grams.
Did you change your sound testing process/equipment since the regular 4070 ti revisit video? Just noticed the testing in that older video had much higher noise for all cards? Yet ones like the 4070 ti vs ti super should have the same cooler and therefore noise? No?
would loved to see the Pro art 4070 ti super in this test :( but a great comparison! please more of these videos! thanks you
You should really do noise normalized Thermals for these videos, it's the most important metric for me when choosing between different vendors, other than price.
Why did you label the Palit as the Jetstream version when you used the Gaming Pro version?
I have to say this, your reviews so underrated and not popular, I hope you become much more successful in future, just wanted to ask one question regarding gigabyte graphic cards, are they good, I have heard they have issues in pci slots, they don't also accept RMA, what's your take, should I go for it?
I'd love to get the Inno3D one and undervolt it, that thing is tiny and could fit in my SFF PC.
Awesome review simpel and clear. and offcourse de groeten van een mede nederlander. en natuurlijk geaboneerd
Your videos are excellent, thank you
Glad you like them!
Just saw the title of the video and instantly hit the like button 👍
This helped make up my mind. My nephew want's to put a build together with a Ti Super, and I was leaning towards the GB Gaming OC because it is one of the lest expensive modes in my area and looked like it had a good cooler on it. Nice to know it has an extra year warranty and it does run a bit cooler. This was very helpful.
Interesting how the GOC is cheaper there while it's kind of too expensive over here atm. Definitely makes your choice easier :)
Hopefully RMA warranty support for these brands are as good as the performance in your regions. Surprised the palit brand did so well.
Thank you for these types of videos, comparing same card but from different company, it is very rare but very helpful 🙂. Well I looked forward to this because 4070 Ti S i want in my new PC. Originaly I wanted 4070 S but 16GB RAM is better to future. But problem is which model 😅. I want Strix but damn 4080 S TUF is only 28 Euros more expensive in Czechia than 4070 Ti S Strix version. So I really dont know, but I know myself I am crazy and will want choose Strix because it is damn nice and solid quality and I need something what will serve for 10 years.
That inno3d looks like the best value having a smaller card to place in nice looking small cases I’d take slight more noise for a reasonably sized card and it being less than msrp in some regions is a good plus to consider.
Great video, thank you!
My pleasure!
Could you do a roundup on the RX 7900 XTX? It would be very helpful to see if top AMD GPU's have any significant difference.
ty for the vid
My pleasure!
Will be come a Video with the AMD 7900 XT and 7900 XTX in the Future ? Couse i am thinking about, a RTX 4070 ti super or one of the AMD cards.
And Bad that the Gigabyte Aorus Master was Not in the Testing with the Card from Asus Rog Strix 😢
Have the 4070ti super TUF since launch.
Great performance @1440 and real silent.
Enjoy!
which song is used in the end? is it ok to share that?
I m going to grab a msi ventus 4070 ti super 2x oc , tell me it work properly with recent bios upgrade
I would have loved to see the ProArt in there too
The RTX 4070 Ti Super does look to be an interesting card for me. I just don't like the name and the price of the card.
But it is always nice to see card compared before baying them. Nowadays there are not that many videos comparing cards with the same GPU.
But just because the difference seems small nowadays it is still nice to know if some cards sticks out as worse or better than the others.
It looks like I can buy 10 different cards where I live and you have tested 7 of them. Good job, that is very convenient for me.👍
I was thinking of getting the Gigabyte Aorus Master version, but it costs almost as much as a good 7900 XTX card. But if i go AMD i need a new power supply, mine only does 650W and has 2x 8pins.
Wish I had seen this video, although it may not have changed my decision. Bought the MSI Ventus 3X. I did know about the extra year on the gigabyte, which would be huge to me, but I think I read that their coil whine was worse or similar? Not sure, but I'd recommend people look into user experiences and coil whine before choosing.
I'll always mention coil whine when I have it, can be sample specific too. But honestly, don't think you can go wrong with any, including the Ventus. No need for buyers remorse anyway.
Just what I was looking for
THE BEST TECH REVIEWER, VERY UNIQUE CONTENT.
I have a PG48uq 4k OLED 138hz monitor with 5800x3d and 3080 10gb gundam. should I skip the 40 series?
I'd probably wait for the next gen if you already have a 3080. And thank you!
What is your budget?
I wish the Aorus version was also included. That card is a big boy and I heard that it's cooling is overkill for a card like 4070ti super. Im personally using it, and I never left the 60° mark, even at max settings on GPU heavy games
I am rocking the 4070 ti super msi gaming X slim in white Do you have any thoughts on that model?
I think it’s one of the best looking in my opinion
I just ordered the inno3D .... I just like it that it is noticeably smaller than the huge monsters that GPUs have become in recent years !
Good choice! Double fan GPUs are usually noticeably worse than the typical triple design though this one and the asus dual are a lot better than the rest.
can you go over the 4080 zotac trinity super?
No ETA on anything Zotac unfortunately. Never been able to get a single card in time.
aw it is the 2nd smallest 4080 super so it be great to know its thermla performance there was not much review about it i can find
@@TechTesters
how can i tell which one i have?
this is exactly what you need to see when you're trying to buy a 4070 ti super ! hope every reviewer start to make videos like this ! thank you
Would of liked to see the Zotac model on your list but thanks for the video anyway.
I'll see again in the future if I can get Zotac cards to test (on time)
By the way, the MSI 4070 Ti SUPER VENTUS 2X has less length than the Inno3D shown in the video. This is very helpful if building an ITX
The Lego props are on point, good taste.
Nicee video... Interesting and different....
Will there be a Crucial T705 pro review?
Will try to get one!
I was looking for a 7800XT that was a 2 fan card because of the size of case i have it's nice that Nvidia has smaller cards in the class of the 4070 the 4070 ti and the 4070ti super this is a area AMD could work on that being said i do own a 7800XT the XFX 319 QICK big card compared to my 4070 ti Asus proart.
Thank you.
Will u review the Crucial T705 4TB?
I will try to get one!
dang the model i chose isn't in this test 😭 guess ill have to do my own testing and report 🤔 great content as always tho!
Which one? :)
@@TechTesters I got the zotac trinity OC in white. been absoltuey loving it. you should check it out on the channel! excpetional cooling perfomance and very quiet.
The Palit JetStream 3x OC is £750 here in the UK right now, The Ventus is £820, Zotac is £780 and all the Gigabyte and Asus cards are like £900 its crazy, think i'll be getting the Palit Jetstream,
i always fail to understand the price diffrence in these same card gpus while they perform the same. how can someone play close to 4080 for a 4070ti super?
edit- i want to go for the cheapest 3 fan 16 gb 4070ti super card but it is sometime so cheap then other cards that i think there is something wrong in it.
I always reference your GPU round-up videos (like this one) on Reddit when someone is asking for which model of a specific GPU to buy.
Nice! And sharing is always appreciated :D
@TechTesters the quality of your work speaks for itself. Keep it up!
i was hunting the web for this comparison of the different models of the 4070 ti super's. i was under the impression that Asus TUF was the top of the list. but now im considering the gigabyte.
It has better build design than all the other cards except the strix but that's pretty much the only selling point.
great video
Thank you!
The level of professionalism in these videos never ceases to amaze me. It's honest, to the point, and unbiased. One reason I might consider a 4070 Ti SUPER is Asus's BTF design, as a white TUF Gaming 4070 Ti SUPER OC will use the technology and pair well with a Z790 TUF Gaming motherboard that also has a predominantly white design.
Thanks! And the BTF models look great, just haven't seen one yet.
@@TechTesters Yeah, they're not yet available-at least here in the United States-but they will be soon, and I'm probably going to get me one.
does the rx 7700xt now makes sense?
If you want something to compare with a 4070 go for the 7800xt if you’re going amd. I actually have a 7800xt myself
Can you test out the ASUS proart 4070 ti super
I should have a ProArt soon :)
I have a 3090, will the 4070ti super be an upgrade. ?
No 😉
You should wait for the 5000 series without a doubt. 3090 still an insanely powerful card. It won’t be worth it imo
Is there any models with the normal 8pin pcie connectors?
From AMD yes.
From what I understand Nvidia required using the new connector on the Super cards. Not 100% sure though
@@GrainGrown
I'm not doing AMD unless they can perform. At the moment their ray tracing is almost non existent.
You're doing the Omnissiah's work
asus coil whine is insane took back my 4070ti super and got a zotac 4070ti super pretty much the same silent and cool now
I've not seem much on this subject, however, it's often down to the hidden specs of the PS, and whether it's being pushed just a fraction too hard for the capacitors to remain 100% stable, if they're not top-quality? Ignore the Gold / Silver etc rating, that's only power efficiency, it's component quality that matters most with PS stability, and that's not always as obvious as it might seem. Your Zotac card might just have a slightly lower power draw, so not stressing the PS so much?
Guess you didn't want to show speeds/temps/power with silent bios turned on ??
I went with the Palit 4070ti Super about a week ago. Best thing over my old EVGA 2080ti OC is there is no coil whine!!!!
Enjoy the upgrade:D
You mean the 4070ti Super Gaming Pro?
@@Felix_Tan Ye, from Scan....was on offer but they have the JetStream on offer atm
Thx for really good review but now i feel sad that me country have most expensive you and the cheapest model cost 930$ Gigabyte aero white and palit gamingpro black ( normal price for 4070 ti super is around 1000-1050$ PNY xlr ECT model's like strix cost 1200$ or TUF 1030$ on promotions normal price for TUF is like 1050-1100$)
NIce video! Would've been nice to see the Zotac card in here aswell though
How to get the extra year warranty of Gigabyte ??
Register on their website.
@@anitaremenarova6662 yeah I did it.. it’s okay now
The PNY sells for 800.00 for non ARGB and 850.00 with-
I got the non super 4070 Ti with ARGB, looks great, runs cool and quiet
If the 4070ti super price is close to the 4080super get the 4080S that's what I did! Some of those models are selling for over 900usd. Was able to get a 4080S @MSRP.
I was temped to get the 4080s, but it was selling for the same price as the original 4080 (1200 dollars) and I still don't want to spent 1000 dollars on a singe part.
Msi ventus 2x?
Still rocking an MSI 3080
Asus TUF at MSRP is the best model. Also the MSI Ventus 3x it was the worst performer because of the vBios problems, you should revise that.
The first Ventus batch had a vBios update before launch even, looking at the new data it seems completely fine.
What is the MSRP? there is not a standard price for GPU, you are stating each card is 50 or 100 euro more than the msrp? each card has its own msrp there is NOT a general MSRP.
what about zotacs
I got the TUF model
I think the real answer for any GPU model is get the cheapest one that fits in your case as premium AIB cards are basically never worth it as the improvements are tiny compared to the often massive price increases.
Not true, cheapest is usually considerably worse than any above MSRP model for just 15-20 more.
In most cases the premium $100-150 over MSRP cards are only a tiny 2-3% improvement in performance, a couple FPS which you won't even notice for a 10-15% price premium, and it puts the price so close to the next their up MSRP card that it makes zero sense to buy them, like $950USD for the Asus ROG Strix OC, when you can get a Zotac 4080 Super which will beat it by around 20% for only $50 more.
@@sandrahiltz I'm not talking about any of the partner brand flagships. Simply buy one model above the MSRP, they're 20-50 more expensive and much better built.
I would argue especially with the 40 series that they are grossly overbuilt for the actual power of the card and completely unnecessary, especially since you can get nicely built ones for MSRP like the Zotac Trinity line.
Why did you name it as Palit Jetstream when you used the Gaming Pro version instead?
XLR8 for me because of the design.
Kfa2 or galax have a higher powertarget than others with 320 Watts
Gaming OC and Aero OC have the same power limit of 320 watts. Inno3D Ichill x3 as well.
