What great insight to your experience and tips that will be helpful to all that are considering this journey. And thank you for your transparency on missing exercising this last week. Even when you are doing a program and/or life style change, we have to give ourselves grace and then "re-boot".

I never count how much water I drink. I automatically drink water throughout the day and have for years. I probably drink more than 8 glasses a day. Glad to hear this diet is working for you. The trick is keeping off the weight. Some weight lost at the start could be water weight. Sometimes to keep weight off we need to make lifestyle changes. I have no time for breakfast except coffee, and I have a light lunch, a healthy dinner, exercise at least 4 days a week even if it’s only 30 minutes. That has kept my weight down at my age late 40’s. It sounds like you found something that is working for you 👍🏼

It’s very encouraging what you are able to achieve in two short weeks. I have to start my dieting ASAP, summer is coming. But, I have very low energy these days. You look absolutely gorgeous.

I know this is an old video but...if you can recall, I wanted to ask if having a shake for breakfast AND a shake for lunch ever made you feel cold or just generally unsatisfied? I don't think I could do that. One a day, sure.
In the beginning I wasn't satisfied with the shakes alone, but remember there are a lot of free foods. If you want to really go for it you can make spaghetti squash with sauce and eat as much as you want. There are also soups that you can have all you want. The protein added into the shakes helped a lot and by about the second week I wasn't eating many snacks. To warm you up you can also drink hot tea and broth. Hope that helps! xoxo
Congratulations Jill and it shows even after such a short time. I’m glad you feel well. I think it is a myth that women myself included at age 59 cannot lose weight. There are similarities to the program I follow. Free foods. Lots of water light exercise. A nurse told me when I had a vitamin D deficiency to take liquid vitamin D drops 6000u Liquid vitamins are more easily absorbed Vitamin D has been on the radar for a while now Vit. D is essential for older women that are losing calcium. The body cannot absorb calcium without vitamin D At a certain point older people stop manufacturing their own vitamin D from the sun
