So the book aims to boost metabolism in order to loose weight. Wow, i honestly see the changes in you. I have tried the "no rice" diet once for about six months and i lost 15 pounds. It was so hard in the beginning but i eventually coped-up. I may need that book in the very near future. I wish you more success on your weight loss journey... xoxo!!!

Hi Jill, I have been thinking about starting this diet and after watching all of your reviews have decided to give it a go, your reviews are great and have really helped break it down to seemingly a doable challenge. I am in the UK and can't work out what resistant starch is.... is normal potato starch resistant? or do you have to buy something that specifically says it's resistant?? There seems to be a huge difference in price between those that say resistant starch and those that don't.... any input would be appreciate. Thank you! Alison

@@JillMaurer Thank you, yes I can get that one over here :) one more question if you don't mind?! Do you have to follow the layout of the day set out in the book by the letter? I would normally eat my breakfast at work at least 2 hours after getting up and then I couldn't do the exercises afterwards, it would be several hours later in the evening... would this make any difference to the outcome do you know? I hope you don't mind me asking!! many thanks :)
@@alisonlord2069 I wish I would answer this Alison. I'm really not sure. I did try to eat upon waking which wasn't my normal pattern either. It's just a shake so it wasn't difficult to do. You could try to change your schedule or you could go with your normal routing and see how it goes.
Hi Jill, I don't know if I want to give up caffeine. That would be really tough for me. I wonder if I just cut down on caffeine it is ok.
It's up to you. For best results you probably want to cut it out. You may be addicted to caffeine though so you may want to quit that first. I talk about that in one of my videos.

Whoops, hit submit before I finished. This sounds interesting. Many of these things I already do, it would be easy to put into practice, not really to lose weight, but to eat healthier on a regular basis
