I don’t think it’s crazy to say Herbert is more talented than Andrew Luck matter. The only reason Herbert wasn’t seen as the number 1 prospect was because of the coaching staff at Oregon. Luck had Harbaugh in college to coach him.

2020: Defense ranked 23, Offensive Line ranked 32 (last place)
*Also year he broke all rookie records.
2021: Defense ranked 30th (almost last), Offensive line ranked 10th
2022: Defense ranked 21st, O line ranked 12th
2023: Defense ranked 28th (almost last), offensive line ranked 9th.
These quarterbacks he’s comparing them to have top 5 teams in this category. Add context Acho use your brain it’s football a TEAM sport. Chargers have had the worse defense and coaches and Herbert still is able to keep them afloat. We all saw what happened when Herbert didn’t play in that Raider game. This dude was just wrong about all his takes on Herbert and is still looking for any reason to justify it.

Acho has hated Herbert since before Herbert was even drafted. Called him a draft bust and he still thinks 4 seasons later he’s a draft bust.
I think if you re-did the draft today, knowing the last 4 seasons, Herbert is #1 draft pick. He’d be a Bengal. Bengals can win games without Burrow, he’s working with a much better overall team than the Chargers, just like his college days.
