Goff getting all the credit for that Super Bowl run is why qb wins is such a convoluted stat. In the divisional against the cowboys Dak threw for 266 yards, had 2 touchdowns, and zero picks but the run game only produced 50 yards on 22 attempts. Meanwhile Goff threw for 186 yards, no touchdowns or picks but their run game produced 273 yards on 48 attempts along w zuerlein going perfect in fg and xp but yet Goff is credited w that win and the loss is put on Dak. The following week we all seen a blatant miss call that resulted in the single season PI were challengeable and Goff played fine in that game but it’s always overshadowed by that single play late in the game. They then proceeded to put up 3 points in the Super Bowl and move on from him years later which is similar to jimmy g.

Anyone can use one example in bad faith to make a false argument, but the reality is that everything they said about Dak has some truth. QBs contribute to win shares in the NFL more than anyone else. The problem with Dak is that his performance isn't consistent when facing pressure or big games. His regular season stats make him seem better than he really is. Goff's stats are similar, and he might not be great, but he is much more consistent and level-headed under pressure and in big games. That matters in the NFL, where the most important statistic is winning.

Dude since 2011 Cowboys and Chiefs have drafted the most pro-bowlers my guy. That team had been sending 6-9 pro-bowlers every year since Romo's last few years. Dallas had had one of the best rosters during Daks time.
