I just love forged in fire, it is so satisfying
I actually agree with this decision, he was more true to the design, personally I would like to have seen it be made out of a single large piece than the overlap and weld. but meh, it works. Im not sure if the other guys design was even technically the same weapon, it looked interesting, but some serious "usable" flaws in shape/strength just from geometry of what supports what.

Respect for the loser for making 2 knives that good in 10 hours, also happy for Nick cause he definitely deserved it, his weapons where just better
I also really liked his design, one piece of steel, outside handle to carry them as seen in his last shots before surrendering them and one sided edge.
Wish his his first iteration would have been fine to see them compete completly done.
@@kremdes gotta give him credit tho for seeing that crack and making sure not to turn one in that would break and could keel someone. even in 10 hrs still did better then i would in 10 days
@@MyWeedgrower This is it, the fact he saw it and realized "Nope I am checking this right now" to be sure it was not gonna shatter and given the tests we see, it would have shattered with the pole test and couldhave seriously hurt someone with how it came apart. And 10 hours of work for two blades that look that good is amazing. If he tried again I have no doubt he would win with that kind of drive.

Steve was such a sport, he congratulated Nick and was a class act. Bless him, he did an amazing job for having only 10 hours to work with. I hope he manages to make a return and redeems himself. Nick is also a great dude, I love that he said he was gonna hug his wife and then hug his kitty cat. Anyone who is an animal lover is okay.

It definitely stings of "you only made it this far because everyone else failed." Kinda wish he hadn't been so brutal. It feels off in this show, where the norm is respect and honest competitiveness.

Man whenever it's two very lightweight maneuverable blades Doug is just terrifying with how fast and efficiently he eviscerates a carcass or ballistic gel dummy. I mean he's scary with any blade, but when he's duel wielding fast weapons like these it's just frightening.
