I wish You guys try "Naga Dao". A legendary head hunting machete From Nagaland. ❤ F in F
Love this show, great sportsmanship

@@HISTORY please make an episode on indian khanda sword
Please do a Khanda sword episode. It's an ancient Indian heavy sword.
2:38 The test I conducted went terribly, but I think it'll be fine...
That dude must work for the government! 🤣🙄
Was the blade even annealed that time?!
Dude didn't even do a file test
Exactly! If the test piece that you cut off the actual blade fails.. Your blade is also going to fail. I was in disbelief when he made that decision.
@@gravityracergt I don't think he had much other decision at that point. He couldn't reforge, and heat treating again wasn't wise. He just had to roll with it. Or should I say chip with it?
"I think I'll be fine"
Me: Yo dude, you gonna lose.
Watching Forged In Fire has made me want to forge something. I’ve never set foot in a forge but I really want to now.
Same! 😀
I don’t have the patience
Same 🤣
You can buy knife blanks if you don’t want to do all the hammering and stuff
COBassin' really? Dude that’d be so much easier!! Thanksman!
Morocco is the kid on everyone's class who says he didn't study for the exam and still ace the test
Mareko*
MOROCCO AAAHHAHAHAHA
Yeah, ofc mareko and Morocco definitely sound the same
I'm no expert but his blade looks like the best that I've seen on this show... It's beautiful, too... Nice job!
His blade could be sharpened more
I really like the brief historical information section you've added to these clips. It really gives the weapons some context.
This is a show that a person who has ZERO knowledge of forging also would understand and have fun watching this show
I’ll agree with you. I haven’t the slightest about forging but just to see the craftsmanship and how much respect each craftsman has for one an other is just awesome to see.
I am a drawer, and this helps so much to do realistic melee weapons
Never before have I been offended by something I completely agree with.
Copy cat
And you learn about cool weapons and forging, it's a win/win
2:57 Josh lost the moment he said it'll be fine
When a contest says “I think it will be fine”, and there facing showing the don’t really believe it. 😆
I'm a fat, middle aged woman, but now I want to become a blacksmith and forge iconic weapons from history and smash ballistic dummies for the rest of my life.
Really mam
Do it. The best day to learn is yesterday and the second is today and good luck on it :D
Go for it!
Hahaha go to knit scarfs old lady blacksmithing is for men
do it
5:24 - 5:29 Android Doug: "I will deliver 3 slashes- *PER BLADE* -cross this web of ropes."
Ha, I didn't even notice that till you mentioned it. I guess he just said 3 slashes and then did six and everyone was like O.O
@@christopherkatz9484 look like doug missed with the 2nd blade - it turned and landed on it's side vs on the blade. He still won tho.
one guy actually forged his blade and the other cut his out of a piece of steel and sharpened it, im glad morecco won
i have LITERALLY ZERO knowledge of forging and still enjoy this show....keep it going HISTORY
Fax same
All of my forging knowledge has come from watching this show
I think they axed the show now because of criticism but I’m not sure great show tho always tuning in
You have literally more than zero knowledge about forging, please stop using “literally” when you don’t know what it means. It doesn’t make your comment any more “epic”
Happy seeing a Nigerian weapon. He gave his best shot on the pronunciation. Good effort. 👍
Iria Banigo how are you supposed to pronounce it?
@@everydayisearthday5500 The weapon is pronounced properly. I was talking about the tribe name. The weapon is the important part and the tribe name is mostly a matter of where the emphasis is on the syllables.
RE STARXIDIAMAS
@@everydayisearthday5500 It's pronounced "ee-da"(the sword that is)
@@iriabanigo293 the weapon was not pronounced properly at all, it's pronounced E-da not I-da
Thank you for including the HISTORY and parameters of the blade!
Ballistic dummy test was a little underwhelming unfortunately, I guess they can't all be like the katana ones though
Right!? Doug didn't seem like his normal self today... 😕
At first I thought it just didn't have the blood filling after the first test, but saw some blood in the second so was wondering what happened.
@@joshglover2370 probably age is hitting him?
@@joshglover2370 he was tired, so he couldn't use more than 0.33% of his full power
I felt the same. Usually he'll stab the heart and stomach to guarantee some blood. Honestly on the first test I thought it was going to be the very rare "it will not keeeeel". Until they zoomed in you couldn't really tell it was cutting in.
happy to see a sword from my tribe..Great yoruba people..My Surname is OGUNMOSU..proud of my culture and tribe...
Babatundeeeee
Is this ksi

@@chrisluxton5 i-
Uga uga
"Looks nice, but looks don't cut." Clever line.
kill test without blood , nice
Finally weapon introduction is part of CZcams videos
i guess id rather have a sharp bent sword than a chipped straight sword
Love the way he says Will kill
"I might make a great blade and get beat, ya know. I did last time" Best line ever on this show. So true.
Woman: I love you
Man: It will kill!
@@andreicosmin306 Your lack of understanding this comment did not make the cut. We would like to invite you to shake your competitors hand, shake our hand and please leave the forge
@@emeraldgamecave679 that comment made me laugh like crazy😂😂😂😂
Shoutout to every Yoruba person
We want to see how tuff the show can be
Not always about having the sharper blade but the stronger blade.
A sharp sword that bends is worse than a strong sword that can still cut
@@TheWhoamaters Ehh.... a blade that's chipping like that is now littered with stress risers and will likely shatter with continued use. A sword that bends can be un-bent, it's already demonstrated that it's at least that malleable.
Joshua that sword looked beautiful
Shashka Saber rules!!
Doug seemed a bit under the weather.
Also the dummies looked a bunch chunkier than the ones from other episodes, probably the reason why the kill test looked underwhelming
What was that kill test? I was expecting much more damage from such big blades
Now you know why they were laced with poison
It seems like they set the organs and blood pa is further back in the body. They clearly cut very deep, and the weapons were sharp and well designed, so I have to assume it’s something with the test dummy
@@sammclain6040 yeah the test dummy seems to look fatter than normal. got moobs in the front lmao
Doug wasn't his normal self in this one... 😟 He usually brutalizes those poor dummies, turning them into headless torsos and bloody chunks on the floor! 😅
I’m pretty sure they where meant for stabbing
Fun fact: this dude Mareko makes knives for Joe Rogan.
That’s awesome
Yes I would agree that Mariko shows strength under pressure
1:26
The man has thunder hands.
i will stick to my words that:This is a show that a person who has ZERO knowledge of forging also would understand and have fun watching this show
AND.....both type of people, people with big pp, and people with smol pp, would enjoy this show. pp no matter, sword always go choppy choppy.
@Gotham Bat goes slashy slashy and ballistic dummy goes gushy gushy
I want to see a scythe on one of these contests
Season 5, episode 35. It's on Hulu!
@@LadyHavoc k thanks
Doug! Its not kill test, it is keeel test😂
Love that series
6:35 That thanks doug was not normal
thanks dog
He’s gonna kill doug
For a shorter sword like that, James's weapon nearly cut the pig in half in one blow. Impressive.
dude had big chipping at home yet he bring it to real test xD
Doug has the best job, he just destroys ballistic dummies
How do we know the tensions on those ropes are the similar for each one? A higher tension would give a better advantage. Plus, the angles of the way the ropes were layed out also play a role in cutting ability relative to Doug's cut angle or direction. Thirdly a vertical slash would have more force behind it vs. a diagonal slash. The 2nd test is flawed.
John Paolo Pagsanghan A sharp knife or sword would catch on a rope regardless of the angle
"Your blade will 'kkiieellll'!"
I love those swords, isn't easy decide what is the best with all that great work, good job guys.
Mareko LOOKS like a blacksmith and it's awesome. 😊
Forging is so unpredictable and tetious its cool too see the making process . Its always a surprise
4 Judges at a time OMG!!
Finally they did it. Strength test should be the last one to do to maximize full performance of the blade..i like it.
i liked the old way better, the blade should be able to perform after the punishment as quality control standard
I think they should do one at the beginning and end
Light blade and good performance in strength test are almost winner.
is it just me or on the last test he swung the second sword with less force ? , i mean if you look at them both side by side you can clearly see he just went ham on the first sword.
good episode
You have no idea how much i want one of those dummies
I have never heard them say your weapon will not kill.
Tested the blade beforehand. Failed test. Went on to the challenge. No surprises.
Josh really wore his advertising shirt. Lol smart bruh
For the size of those blades they offer some very controlled, focused and sharp strikes.
As soon as I saw what the antlers did to his sword I knew it will fail the strength test. Very sharp and fast though for giving horrible wounds and cutting through meat and stuff but no shield attacks.
Pretty disappointing kill test
Man wtf if you're already worried about integrity at the keel test you probably don't know what comes next
Sharpness before strengt test who set this one up smh
why even test it on the antler if you aren't going to do anything when it chips🤦♂️
They cut through 2 femur bones with the other blade though.
I wish come to this show
From India 🇮🇳
its a beautiful weapon
What the quiet kid thinks when there’s a lockdown
Oh he'll yeah!
It must be quite difficult to have enough self-discipline to watch an expert torture a blade you spent days making, and not rage out or have an anxiety attack.
"and a better dad" :)
Strength test without Jay, is like a sandwich without butter and cheese
Why tf cheese tho
So doable
Shouldn't you do the strength test before the sharpness test?
I am a huge fan of this show I am expecting that you will full fill fans request... as a ICONIC weapon please try to make URIME..! I think its most tought n great weapon of all time..
oh hey it's maumasifirearts. ya know he's gonna have a beautiful damascus piece
Uh Doug.. you ok? I think your script was your weapon will ‘Keal’ instead of ‘cut’. WHAT KIND OF WHACKERY IS THIS?!
3:40 derp face lol
The ida is widest near the tip, so I wonder what its balance is like.
So he didn't do a file test, the additional heat treated test piece he made chipped horribly against some antlers, and then he just rolled with it? Not sure if I'd ever buy knives made by him...
I dont know ... he did the smartest thing I've seen anyone doing on the show, to heat treat a test blade, and he totally ignored it... well.. he asked for it
Ida thought Josh would've won 😄
Sooo it's machete... 😄
Not going through the 1st bone completely, saved Moreko. Not being broken and out of the way, the bone absorbed the 2nd and 3rd strikes.
Yh defo, my man was actually crying in all the tests. Ends up winning by pure luck bc his sword was weaker, and has no reaction to winning. Hes just overall very annoying.
Exactly my thoughts. The sword was so dull the lack of strength translated into a structural bend where as the other guy's blade was sharp enough to cut through the bone, so the relative weakness of the bade translated into the blade chipping.
Whats the point of having a Test blade that got treated the same way as the real blade if you dont use the results from the test?! He knew his heat treat was weak but didn't even try to change anything
I still think Mareko should have won on his first Forged in Fire attempt; the Gladius he made was just better overall.
Actually Merako won it
@@khajaimaduddinsharief6521 I'm talking about the first time he appeared on Forged in Fire; not this one here. He competed against Jamie Lundell and made a Roman Gladius; Mareko's blade performed better, took no edge damage in the strength test and had a well contoured grip.
His opponent's Gladius, on the other hand took edge damage, had a bent blade and had a round handle that made it roll in Doug's hand - but Mareko still lost because his handle was slightly bent and the judges preferred the aesthetic look of Jamie's sword.
10:04 wow
I’m addicted
I love forged in fire

How many more times are we going to see a weapon "Failure" due to the users POOR edge alignment??
He may not have said it, but the sword was a bit too heavy for Doug
HELLO! my name is NINOOOOOO!
oh wait... wrong channel
by far the least exciting kill test :/
Ohh wow
What little bit of this I've watched, it doesn't seem like they have very many even decent welders come through there. I know that if that was an issue that I ran into frequently, I'd up my welding game so I didn't have to worry about it.
Is this a rerun?
Brett Favre Vs. Angel Batista
Spoiler alert: damascus fails
Compromised quenching oil
Wow
He tested on the deer horns and it started to chip and crack ,,, slacking
Judges should ask contestants to make urumi also known as belt sword, which is an indian weapon.
