All of the interviews have one thing in common...the individuals had horrible parents and there was no guidance. So sad. That is the problem with society today. These kids group grow up not having values or directions in life.
Liberal policies. Although as someone who was in that lifestyle I can tell the culture is very appealing. People wanna belong and feel important. I knew guys who came from very good families who turned out to be stone cold killers..Everyone wants to belong it's human nature. And when you grow up in a gang infested neighborhood you are bound to get drawn in..

I have like 6 uncles like him .....ex gang members...2 live in my house for cheap rent because we are family ,and I love them and I don’t want them to be homeless ( Mexican American families are very close). But I told them no stupid gang shit and no drugs or I have to kick you out. Working well so far they been living with me for years .

I grew up ( & still live ) in lennox nothing but a bunch of kids who dont know respect trying to put on for a hood that runs 5 blocks deep ; grew up with most of them and its sad how they turned out to be just kids too! Im only 20 and most of those kids i played dodgeball with are in and out of jail for a hood that isnt even on the map lol
The saddest part of the entire video was the clip of the little girl. She's going to grow up being exposed to a life that typically ends in death, prison or both. If he plans on being a positive figure in her life, he needs to get out now.

Yeah, he looks much older than he says he is. Rough life. Funny I live in LA all my life but these type of dudes you almost never see unless you run in those circles. Many of them tho, even if they act friendly you just get a vibe off them that they are more than what they seem. A dangerous vibe.
The few I’ve met were very intense like any time they are in public they can’t turn it off. Get them at mom’s house for Sunday football and they seem to be able to relax a bit.
I knew the guys indirectly. I knew a few by name from family bbqs I was at with my group of friends. I ran into a few at a house party band we left after one beer. A few hours later there was some gun play according to the morning news
The last time was a big taco party with rockabilly bands hosted by the fraternity I was friendly with and and one who’s income wasn’t from hosting live music parties that one I missed by about half an hour. 3 or 4 torched cars and a house shot to shit. After that night quite a few tattoos were blacked out and we all spent a lot more time at the house and I was living on the other side of country 3 months later. California is fucking nuts

I grew up in Hawthorne in the early 80's to late 80's so i know all about Lennox.I remember one time in Lennox dong the stop, drop and roll under car scenario. it was a dangerious place to hang out. Most of them had to go to Hawthorne High School.
