This product made a huge difference in cold starts and overall engine performance in our family's 1997 F250 7.3 with over 200k on the clock. This stuff works! Our family mechanic could not believe the difference it made. Truck is completely stock and has never had the injectors replaced.

Im a Fire Chief at a Fire/EMS department. We have a 2003 4x4 F-550 7.3. Mini-pumper rescue truck. Only 50k miles on the odometer. In cold weather it’s gotten hard to start without the block heater plugged in. It has a rough idle at start up. We’re in Alabama so it usually doesn’t get real cold. This truck has got to be reliable and ready to go when the tones drop. I had it serviced yesterday and added these Archoil products and can tell a difference in just 20 miles of driving.

After watching your videos, I carefully listened to all your advise and made some changes to the maintenance regimen in my 04 6.0. I started with changing my fuel filters. They were some cheap off brand BS THAT DIDNT EVEN FIT RIGHT. I of course got motorcraft filters in her like you mentioned in previous videos. I then made an oil change. The oil filter was some BS El cheapo aftermarket crap. I swapped it out to a motorcraft filter, added Shell Rotella T6, and the Arch oil fricton modifier and started using the fuel treatment. I am now getting ready to do a coolant filtration system add on and an oil bypass filter.
2 weeks after buying my 6.0 prior to doing all of this, I blew my oil cooler and EGR cooler right after. After paying almost $3k to repair it all, I told myself I will do whatever it takes to make sure that this truck is getting proper maintenance.
Arch oil slightly expensive, but it works. My engine starts faster in these cold Washington State winter's mornings then she ever did before. Runs quieter and smoother than ever.
And if it all saves me from another $3k and prolongs my trucks life, I'm happy to spend the money.

my old semi truck has an 12V-71 detroit and i was extremely impressed when it started at 25 degrees without ether and not only did it start but it didn't smoke as much on startup and seemed to run smoother ,,I am only on my first tank of fuel with it but i noticed a difference already
and i have now installed it in my diesel generators and my cummins powered ford ranger 4x4 the cummins is already getting 7 more mpg , up from 35 to 42 mpg ,,4BT intercooled cummins with 80HP injectors and P7100 pump ,,,seems to have more power too

I bought the P-1 kit. The fuel additive I used first since MotorCraft has a Cetane additive I figured this may be a valid solution and it was I went from an average 17.1 mpg to 18.2. Since I can’t tell how much oil life is left before my last trip to Florida I changed my oil at 6,500 interval added the oil friction additive. It also worked well. My average went up again to 19.1 mpg. I use MotorCraft synthetic oil and a stock oil filter my 2016 tuck is at 37k miles. My last stretch 100 miles across Florida to Jacksonville I averaged 22.1mpg. I am a believer.

Bill try -30 -40 straight temp. I live 1/4 mile from Canada. In north central north Dakota. Have 2002 7.3 f-350 . We run p-40 fuel in the winter. Had a guy I know. Tell me my 7.3 wouldn't start with out a lot of cranking at -30 with out being plugged in. I left it unplugged -30 went out 4 times over cranking he popped right off. Snorted a bit. But as long as 7.3 has good glow plugs they will fire right up. Now I don't recommend doing that .I just wanted to prove a point to those com a part and worthless max owners.

I was worried about my oil so I sent it to Blackstone Labs for analysis and they said it looked brand new. I think it's safer to go extended distances between oil changes with this in the oil and tank.

I support a noble cause and saving a diesel engine any day. This stuff is quite expensive but sure on the long run helps rather than robs the Truck Owner. Anyways I live here in Kansas where we have some gnarly winter weather; not to complain as it only gets worse further North you go; my Parents own a 2000 7.3 Ford Diesel and I have been trying to take care since it seems that my Dad and Mom do not understand the investment as much as I do as I have only worked on a Farm working with cold blooded John Deere Diesels and have watched as my Grand dad would strap on a heat visor or what ever to the 4020 to keep warm I am guessing during the cold winter months. I took it upon myself to going out and searching for a reliable product and stopped at a Peterbilt Dealer and the Service Man behind the counter recommended as he does for every whilly nilly that walks in to their store shelf product of Howes. Have you done a side by side comparison to the standard Howes Diesel conditioner/Anti Gel, Power Service, Diesel 911, Lucas cold weather treatment, and so forth?

Someone asked if it works for gasoline engines. I have an 2006 F-250 with 5.4L three valve.
This engine is notorious for the phasers (valve timing mechanism) going bad. Much of the problem is related to the engine oil. Long story short... I had noisy phasers (clacked like a diesel) I tried Archoil additive to a fresh oil change. After 100 miles or so the noisy phasers have calmed down, still some clacking, but I think that may be normal. Apparently the Archoil has cleaned or opened up a clogged oil passage used for control of the phasers. Plus I did add to all my vehicles the Archoil fuel additive. Each is fuel injected, one is direct injection, which is high pressure, not unlike a diesel injector. All vehicles appeared to run and idle a bit better. Two are sport cars, one 145000 miles with turbo, other a German V8 with 110000 miles. All in All I am very pleased with results.

I have a lot more power going up hills on the highway (a 7.3 issue). Already noticing higher gas mileage, which will more than pay for the additive. Archoil will go into every thing I own... maybe not the kids even though sometimes I would like them quieter. Learned my lesson... When the powerstroke god says to do something... gonna do it...

I did the challenge a while back. I even bought a big bottle of fuel and oil treatment. I unfortunately noticed no difference at all, and no mpg increase at all. I now have a 2011, 6.7 at 67k miles.

Has anybody seen their archoil oil additive 9100 get clumpy? I’ve had this bottle for while and I noticed it’s kind of clumpy. Is it still good to use? I’ve emailed archoil, but as it’s the weekend, I don’t expect a response until Monday. Hoping someone has some insight. Thanks

Does anyone have any experience with this product on a 2015 6.7?
Also would this product void any extended warranty?
    Thank you in advance....

How cold is "cold"? I'm having hard starting and I'm in Northern California. I never thought above freezing is cold.

I have a small stiction problem in my 05 6.0l powerstroke. I only notice it run rough only at cold start for maybe 5-7 seconds and then goes away as soon as the turbo kicks in. So, I bought a bottle of the archoil oil additive thinking for sure, since my issue was so minute I thought for sure it would fix it... Well, it didn't... No difference after 1200 long haul miles.
I've see so many people have good results. I used it in conjunction with the Rotella T6 5w40...
I guess my question is, did I use enough of it? I just used one bottle (16oz), and have put about 1200 miles on it since. Should I add more?
    What's your recommendations.
