- PROJECT UPDATE!
Finally! This last episode took a little bit longer than the others.
After the first testride I still wanted to bleed the brakes, just to be sure.
I also took my time to set the speedo, the process was a bit unclear at first and to be honest I couldn't explain you how to do it after all these months, but you'll figure it out!
These rides were filmed during summer, right now it's getting cold and the days get shorter so the BMW will hibernate for a couple of months.
You'll see my brother on his R65 scrambler in this footage, make sure to check his channel and his build videos.
Next spring we'll ride the Belgian roads again! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Gran trabajo!!! Espectacular!!!
Great stuff!!!
Hey,
First off: I really love the bike, it's looking so good!
I know it's an older video, but I'm currently customizing my own R80 and I was wondering what exhaust pipes you're using/ where you got them?
They sound amazing and look even better!
Cheers
😎🤟
Very nice, I just plan a similar project! Can‘t wait to start. May I ask u a question?
I have a BMW R80/7 year 76.
do you see the same possibility like your bike? and is it possible to mount cast rims instead of spoked weels?
your answer is much appreciated
regards Philipp
Btw: very impressed 👍
Hey! I love this build! Definitely a great source of info / inspiration. I was wondering how you like the Vonzeti subframe? I'm considering it for my '87 R80. My reservation is that I've read that some people think they're a bit flimsy / don't fit quite perfectly. What are your thoughts? Cheers!
What people think is right, both our subframes didn't fit perfectly and took some bending and fiddling to mount. The width of the top brackets does not fit between the brackets of the frame, so we had to mount the whole subframe a bit off-centre. Once it's in place it feels fine and very few people can tell it's not perfect. A local bike mechanic could have fabricated one for pretty much the same price, next time I'll get a custom made one.
@@ThomasC Thank you!! Very good to know!
Stunning bikes, great colours just one thing I don't like, the turn light signals, too modern for an aged scrambler. Nice ride
Thanks! Turn signals are allways a bit tricky. I had the same ones on my Ducati Scrambler and was happy with their visibility. Some of the really bright ones are too small and I tend to prefer safety above style on some points.
@@ThomasC I agree man, I have a dominator modified in scrambler 1988,and I use 70' style round bar end with the cable inside the handlebar. But you right safety is never enough, still great job man.
i need an information , how much a r100 scrambler brand new 7k miles cost ?
What are your gloves called in this video?
Id rather call that a bratstyle. How much fuel does it consume?
Well, it's a bit of a grey zone I think. It's not a very off-road kind of bike, so I get your point :-) No idea about consumption.
which country is it?
North Korea, but close to the DMZ so you can actually see parts of South Korea as well.
@@ThomasC no joke bro. I been to gaesung there before. It was a beautiful city
Read the video description... He says something about Belgian roads....
Hi mate, love the bike! Have you got instagram? thanks
