My husband is an RC fanatic and loves your videos! In fact, your videos are so great that both of us now watch them together. Thank you so much for bringing great presentation and professionalism along with your broad knowledge of Tamiya. This sport is fantastic for everyone, and you are a large part of spreading the joy. Much love from the Ozarks and keep the videos coming! God bless.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment my friend 🤩👊🏻
Yea! Great to see you on a Wednesday, or any day😜 happy rc'ing 🥰
Yes really like this idea, great to go back and see some of the old projects, hear the story behind them and where they are now. Nice one Glenn 👍
Well done mate. I think they both look cool. I especially like the Wild Willy driver in the Super G. Nice touch! 👍
My very first "proper" rc car was a Tamiya Grasshopper 2 Super G and i was the happiest little boy on planet earth Christmas morning when i woke up!! You did a belter job with that Gh2 super G tribute car Glenn! Looks so much fun to drive too! Thanks mate! Wes, Liverpool, UK.
Awesome build. Love and miss my old Grasshopper. Going to go and look for a Super G, now. Great Wednesday video. I will look forward to the next one.
Yay from me Glenn! 😎👊
This video series is a great idea. I’d forgotten about that Grasshopper 2 tribute and it’s a great looking buggy. I’m liking it.
Awesome!!👍. What a cracking start to Wednesday windback videos. That mad rabbit is without doubt one of my favourite builds of yours. It should be an official kit in mt opinion. You nailed absolutely everything from the colour scheme to the tyres. The other vehicle is also brilliant and the driver Willy is genius. It could easily be part of the wild willy family along with the city turbo. Anyhoo, brilliant video and id love to see more custom cars from you. 😃👍👍
Thanks for the shout out, looking forward to more of these videos.
Great video I think you have your Mojo back in spades.please keep it up.
I really like what you do and love seeing how much enjoyment you get from doing it. Keep up the great content, I’ll definitely be watching what you broadcast.. 👍🏼
WOW ... 46 miles an hour!!!! Impressive .. Nice work on these things brother. Thanks for sharing
After seeing both cars and how super cool looking they are. Be shocked that someone at Tamiya did not raise a eyebrow and go I wonder. Great job
Great video 👍
It’s how I always remember r/c
It was fun. thank you for the video’s you bring us 👍😃
Love the new Wednesday series. I’ve been following for the last 6ish months only so it’s great to go over your old projects. Keep up the great work!
Definitely a "yay" from me . Had to hunt this video down as I remember watching it originally. Just ordered new blitzer beetle wheels, madbull body and willy driver to build my own twist on yours, top work Glenn.
This is going to be a great regular series!! Nice seeing this again, I think you made that look epic!!!! Well done Glenn, well presented as always.
Good morning Glen!!! Yeah I’m glad I was able to be with you on the original builds and great to reminisce from pretty much a year ago. Great idea about the videos and where the cars are now and how we got here. Really looking forward the a hotshot updates !! Don’t know if I told you but those are the cats meow for me! And on the track. Thanks buddy and great video!
Great vid Glen, love the back stories, the thought process and shortened running videos. Top stuff.
Absolutely loving that pink mad rabbit with monster wheels, the shot of it at 3:00 is super gorgeous! If I print it and stick it on rubber magnet sheet, it will make a beautiful fridge madnet! 👍
Fantastic 😊😊😊
Yeah really works Glenn 😎👍
Really liked the Mad Rabbit. I like the dt-01 super g aswell
Very good 👍
Glad to see the first Wednesday video up! Congrats! Time to grab a drink and watch this 🥃
Wow, what an awesome video, I absolutely loved it!! For me the Grasshopper II Super G tribute is one of the best ones you've ever done, I love it! I'm tempted to try and put one together myself, funds permitting. Looking forward to next Wednesday's video!!
I love modifying and making up my own things, this buggy should now be produced by Tamiya for the masses lol
Fantastic keep them coming.
Its a yay for me, love the idea, and love the builds.. who wouldn't want 2 vids a week from this channel? Cant wait to see what you have in store for upcoming weeks!!! Keep up the great work!!👍👍
Been watching all the Super G videos since I picked one up on Craigslist. Enjoying the content man! I’m hooked on this stuff now
When you did the original video I was in the middle of restoring a Super G , I thought it was a neat idea and at the time I didn’t have any experience with the Dt01 so that made it that much more interesting. I think the Frankenstein creations are the ones with the most character and the one people try to emulate the most .
I like the recaps on previous projects as theres a chance to hear updates on what worked well/not so well in the longer run.
Glenn, the Super G tribute is absolutely fantastic and so cool! I would love to do one. The Super G was the only new kit I've ever had back when it came out, I ballraced it and had great fun with it. I think if Tamiya released your version it would be an instant hit and a best seller!
Wow thanks for the lovely comment George 😊👊🏻
Love this type of content Glenn, please do many more 👍
Keep em coming..🤩👍🏼
A great start to the series Glenn. Look forward to the next one 👍
Definitely need oil shocks on those chassis’s! Makes playtime way more fun!!
YAY FOR SURE GLENN!!!! you gotta keep with these video's, excellent idea and great looking cars! i usually have wednesday's off, so this was a fine way to start my morning;) thanx brotha
Top vid as always Glenn👍
Great video and I really like the idea for this series. Couldn't agree more about these cars simply being "fun!"
Great video 👌👌👌👌
Great start to a great new series ...enjoyed this one as i do all your videos .... Love the enthusiasm you have for the hobby .High five Glenn ✋
Fantastic idea so easy to forget the great things you have done ✔👍
Mate that was cool like the flashback idea and in a kind of recap but new look too very nice ; )
Brilliant!!!!….keep it up😎
You’ve given me an idea for my spare RR shell now!!!….tribute coming up me thinks🙂🙂🙂
Great video Glen. Keep em coming. Love the content. Cheers
Enjoyed that buddy. Keep them coming!
Yes keep them coming Glenn 👍
Great vid Glenn this was always one of my favourite cars you created😎👍
Fab Glenn. Keep them coming please. 👌
Great idea for these recap vids Glenn, I did know about either of these projects despite dipping into your archive a few times! Maybe I need a Madbull? 🤔
these two cars are some of my favorites that you have done andlike you say its all about having fun :) Love the idea of the wednesday vid
Thanks Adrian 🤩👊🏻
Yay my friend, like it :)
The mad bull is good fun and as you've said the drive train seems pretty robust. Mines got a Terra Conqueror body and now you've set me off wondering what a set of Bitzer Beetle wheels will look like. Like the format and it's timely with the Grasshopper II black edition due soon.
Great video Glenn, really enjoyed it 👍
Love the idea of Wed videos!
It's all good 👍 keep it going 👌
It's a yay - I do miss those running videos so looking forward to seeing some new ones when the season changes...
I love the idea right now I'm doing a combination of a monster beetle and Blackfoot which I'm going to make look Apocalypse at the time like a mad Max vehicle
Going to send you my RC skateboard I made.. the deck I made myself. It had many ideas before it got to the end result..
This video turned out awesome!
Hehe, I've stuck a set of Stadium Blitzer front axles on my DT-02 earlier this year. It's been so much fun to drive with the bigger wheels. I'm still looking for a fresh Sand Viper body, mine is trashed, but I've rigged up some custom body mounts and stuck some holes in a Blitzer body to use for now.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Big yay.
If ever there was a custom build that tamiya should have officially released this is it!! Great video.
Awesome transformation and great imagination with those cars there Glenn, Loved it totally and your definitely not wrong about the fun factor , i cant stop driving the fighter buggy RX memorial I just finished what a great FUN car to drive and ive only got a dirt tuned Tamiya motor on a tble02 esc its a blast , highly recommend, cheers Glenn thankx for sharing this Wednesday video session great Idea totally
I dig this Glenn 👍👍
Spot on vid
good idea
mix&match and fun
Great video!
Nice one mate ❤️
👍
Any chance of a parts list for each build I so want a mad rabbit now👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Do you think they'll come out with the super g again and by the way the black series of the new grasshopper too I swear has a different front and with the setup of the front shocks that are now supposedly supposed to be CVAs all conners.
I like the wind back idea. Any chance of an update on the custom hippie sand scorcher?
Unfortunately I moved that one on 😩. That was a massive mistake 😒
I’m doing the same thing atm, I’ve the big yellow wheels off the beetle on my mad bull chassis and you’ve beat me to it!! But I’m waiting on some adaptors so I can get the front wheels to fit as there 12mm hex’s and don’t fit as it’s rear wheel drive.....how did you get yours on?? If you’ve time you’ll see on my channel where I’m at, I’ve ordered some dt-03 adapters for the front and am going to put new steering arms on it and I’m thinking Ov going brushless?? But I’ve a brushed esc that takes lipo’s or nimh batteries do not sure there. But mad you did it b4 me I honestly had not seen this video!! Cool vid 👌👍
Thanks n remembering what you said you used the front axles of your stadium raider was it? I’v some spare new ones off a dt-03 build I’m going to use with adapters (when they get here) and I’ve just remembered I’ve a brand new cvd damper set from tamiya I didn’t use on my racing fighter I can use on my mad bull build, thanks for making me think 😎👍
What would say the Top 10 legendary cars are ? Obviously Egress , Avante , & ……
You think they'll be released the rookie rabbit fighter buggy RX?
No idea but I’d love to see that again 🤩
Luck me I got the 312 like thanks jesus
Considering that they continue to release the grasshopper in different colours. In the variants.. maybe that super g should be getting a re-release ..
