    cool probably protects the original body from getting damaged also.

      Technically yes but I don't think the wing would survive much abuse. Well I mean the nylon is strong but I see the wing getting ripped off pretty easily.

      Thank you! What Fords do you have? I have 6 (well one is a mercury).

      AMPRO Engineering Mercury’s are really nice! Currently I own a 2017 F-350 and a 1993 F-350 (Its in my profile picture, which itself is from 93’)

      Nice, I had an '87 F250 that my dad bought in '95. I just sold it and I was not happy about that but after 200k miles, the terrible 6.9L international engine was done, the truck didn't do more than 60 on the highway, fuel consumption was terrifying and it sat 2. When we needed it it was great but that poor truck was used once (or less) a year. It just lounged in the car port. I really wanted to drop in a power stroke as it was otherwise minty fresh but the fact that it wasn't a crew cab meant it was useless for long trips with the family.

      My Merc is a 1976 Bobcat, fully restored. My wife loves it.

      AMPRO Engineering I wish I was able to get an 87-91 style. I always loved the more square looks. But the diesels were no bueno because they didn’t have a turbo. In fact, Ford didn’t put a turbo on a diesel until the Powerstroke In 94. But even then it wasn’t THAT powerful. My 93’ now has a flatbed and is more of a ranch truck. But it has a 460 which is okay for what it is, but doesn’t have that noise I want.

    the image looks brighter, and the sound is better, but I kinda miss the old taste of AMPRO.

    I'm so upset. I made my decision to buy the GHBE on the videos that you have produced showing the model and apparently the kit does not look like these featured units. Great job with the add-on. I wish your prices would reflect the downturn in the economy. I'm a single dad with a 5-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy. I have a number of your pieces from the servo relocator from the HG407 to the bump steer corrector for the Blackfoot, also a Blackfoot conversion to A NO BUMPSTEER LIMITED EDDIOITION MONSTER BEETLE. . Sadly Yes, I have gone without eating a meal or two so my kids don't see that or have to feel that. I know you are in this to make guwap and you are right. But when my 5 yr old asks me if I got the parts for her or did I check the mail yet., OR can she go out and check the mail to see if the parts have arrived it is difficult to stop what we are doing and If I do, then they will pick up on something being off. This Tamiya MonBeetBlaEdition is for all intended purposes, a rolling dollhouse! Yup. It's awesome.

      What is the GHBE? Sorry man, times are really tough right now. I do not set the prices though, shapeways is the company that does the prints so they set the labor and material costs.

    Hey great work..quick question are the aux lights of the grasshopper or are they special ampro ones?

    • @AMPROEngineering
      @AMPROEngineering  Před 6 lety +1

      Thank you! Those are factory lamps but I printed a small base that allowed them to sit properly on the body and not angled. I think you can also do this just by sanding down the base of the spot lights. Hope that helps!

      @krs7709 Před 6 lety

      Thanks buddy..yeah that helps👍just getting back into rc was going to get a gh1 but the gh2 has grown on me! How do they compare to drive? The gh2 seems easier to find upgrades for.

    • @AMPROEngineering
      @AMPROEngineering  Před 6 lety

      The GH2 is way better but still awful. The GH2 needs oil filled shocks but thankfully has the fun factor of the GH1.

    Super Blackfoot is my second favorite Tamiya ORV!! To me.... Tamiya seemed to fix *just enough* of the original, without losing its identity. It's on my short list of what to TRY to get in the future. So I'll be looking very forward to seeing what you can come up with!!!
    With respect to the "New Format".... I like it. The lighting looks great, the images, sharp. However, I think you need to work on sound mixing. It's not terrible - but the sound is a bit muddy, with an odd reverb.
    It takes away from your normally clear, elequent speaking voice!
