- Time to bring some black Magic to the channel with two mono black brews taking each other on. My opponent is playing an aggressive build and I'm bringing a control deck to the table. Will I get trampled over by an army of Devils, Specters and Juggernauts or can I control take control before my life total is on 0?!!

In 94/95, everyone calls Jayemdae Tome “book”. You cast it, you say “book”. You tap 4 mana and draw a card, you knock on the card and also say “book”.
In 1996, one of my old pals said Jalum Tome is “magazine”.

So I had this dilemma of what to put in the 1 mana spot in the mono black curve…other than Dark Ritual. Stone-throwing Devils is too weak. I wound up using Vampire Bats and Evil Presence.
Cool matches! Black number one :)
"Sometimes those with the most sin cast the first stone" right up there with King Cheetah and the Shivan Dragon.
Beautiful card and not re-printed. Love playing the devils in a deck with bad moon.

The artwork is the same as the original Legends card, but the DCI promo card is a foil?
Probably just ask your opponent. Some will be super particular. It is same art same border. Many people play Chronicles city of brass and ernham Djinn. I can't afford certain old school staples lol.
Hi Ben, OS is a player based community, meaning that you can just ask the opponent and I don't think it'll be a problem, the same art is the most important. However, the rule sets only allow non-foil cards, so at many tournaments you probably can't play them (depending on who organises the tournament). Most tournaments do allow re-prints as long as it's the same art and same frame.
I think the orb works very good with Land derstruction....U dont want any spell from opponent right?oh ..i try to taste it...a three coloured Land derstruction deck with the orb....Green Red black....i try it
I have a quieston about the card Blight:it sais the land the land is destroy at the end of the turn, so if we disenchant with the mana of the enchanted land the land remain right?
Hi Iñigo, they have actually changed the oracle text to, "When enchanted land becomes tapped, destroy it." So it is now immediately destroyed when the land becomes tapped.
And now Underworld Dreams is reprinted in Theros XD
So funny indeed and cool to see that wizards occasionally takes these steps back in time
Love both of the decks, would syphon soul would be a Nice addition to the black aggro or even the control although it is most of the time only 2 damage it is also 2 live
If only it could deal 2 dmg to any target. That would make it slightly more playable.
