I’m a simple man. I see Serra Angel, I like the video.
The black knights under bad moon held off a pretty terrifying board for a long time, that was a pretty sweet development.
Really like this type of black deck, reminds me of how we used to play them.
Erhnam on Ice is the deck I dreamed of ever since I put together a budget erhnaggeddon way back in my youth. Watching it work was glorious.
It’s def a strong build 👌
Mono black is sweet. Working on a straight up control build with nightmare, pestilence and kormus bell as finishers. Pestilence and kormus certainly don’t jive but slamming a late game kormus bell is pretty amazing. Love the content!
Really cool to take the control route and finishing with the bell is awesome 👏
At 17:43, an extra land for the turn (City of Brass) gets played; glad it didn't affect the game.
I've never watched much Oldschool coverage (just perused a few decklists here and there); these are really sweet decks.
🙌
Oh man that black build 🖤
Agreed, beautiful deck
Great 1st match. I actually remembered some of it 😅
😂
Great vid with the deck tech up front. Keep it up man. Thanks
Thnx Ry 👏
Great games! Love Nettling Imp, great art and useful too!
The Imp is awesome for sure :D
Love seeing these decks go at it. I’d be attacking more with mono B but these are sweet builds. Thanks!
Awesome!
This whole tournament was such a blast!
More deck lists please. Keen to put some of these together
Only deckpics here, luckily the cardpool never changes 🍺
Amazing games and reporting :D Regarding the comment around 22:40 with having an active LoA and losing. Happened to me recently as well. I think the pitfall is that you feel like you have to save up your cards to keep the LoA while the game (board state) asks for a different play style at some moments. (Or I'm trying to hide the fact my skills are not on par haha.)
Game 3 Joep should have attacked with all his creatures using to Maze on attack to save the one Martin would block with his knights, that way Martin had less turns to find an answer., nice that Martin got back in the game until the Balance after a rough start though. Game 2 Joep played a second land in a turn after using tome and almost used it to cast his Serra.
Do I see a singing tree underneath lotus?!?!
JUUUUUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
Why does the maze works on the serra angel? The maze sayes,,untap target attacking creature right?...but the angel does not tapped wile it attacks..so u cant untap the angel to send she back from battle...I dont understand..could anyone help?
Maze of Ith can target an untapped attacking creature. It will still prevent the combat damage it would deal and be dealt.

Couple of casual players having fun with expensive but casual decks.
