I disagree with you on julia, i think she was a great character and is kinda the first plot twist character in td to be done semi well (scarlett’s reveal was so bad) i also like her brute force strategy that combats bowie’s very ally reliant strat
I completely agree, her and bowie's different villain strategys contrast very nicely imo
To be fair, while I liked Julia, I sort of expected her to be a villain since the cast announcement. The one I didn't expect to be a villain at all was Bowie
The strategic lyrics best fit this cast. They're the most shady and strategically ruthless a cast has ever been and it helps give the cast and reboot season its own identity.

I agree with you on everything except Julia. I personally like Julia as an antagonist because after being exposed by MK, she doesn't really care about how people view her anymore. Also her coming off as the main antagonist this season was something I could never predict. Unfortunately after Zee is eliminated, we're stuck with chase and emma talking about their relationship more than any episode in the season, which was super annoying to watch. I've rewatched the season 5-6 times and I've only made it past episode 10 once.
TL;DR Julia is great and episodes 1-9 carried this season.
Episode 11-13 were great in their own right. You need to realize Chase and Emma are a satirical comment of modern toxic relationships, they aren't serious characters.

I like how julia was the reason that emma and chase got back together twice this season and she didnot even do it on purpose
Something I don’t like is how Millie and Priya is how their labeled the “nerds” when neither of them have ever showed any interest in pop culture, Millie says she likes historical non fiction, and Priya has only shown interest in fulfilling her parents dream or going to med school
This is the first time I see someone mentioning the fast phasing. It took me a good minute to get used to it

i think some things in this season could have been written better yk. especially in mk’s elimination when julia knew mk watched their confessionals JUST because she said the word BUTTKNUCKLE. the logic behind mk’s elimination AND wayne & raj’s elimination made no sense to me. i agree with you about julia for the most part, i found her enjoyable at times but people are exaggerating waaayyy too much when they say julias a better villain than heather and alejandro. it just isnt true. 😂

I thought Priya and Chase were going to be together because of the trailer but … nah

Emma - Her own character I guess
Julia - She’ll never be Heather but she was a good character
Millie - Her own character

Priya - New personality to being to the show
I liked how there were some new kinds of players with this season
Ripper - Corny mix of Duncan and Owen
MK - A female Noah and Duncan with shades of S1 Gwen

Ripper is Owen, Duncan, Eva, MacArthur, Sugar, Chet, Ezekiel, and Max mixed toether
Damien is Lightning, DJ, Cameron, and B mixed together
Nichelle is Leshawna and Dakota mixed together
Wayne and Raj are like Geoff and Brody but mixed with Tyler and Ezekiel as well.
Axel is Eva and Shawn mixed together
Priya is Zoey and Sky mixed together
Emma is probably Courtney, Zoey, and Carrie mixed together(but she's mostly like Courtney)

great video!! while I enjoyed Millie and Priya and their friendship, I agree with you when you say there wasn't all that much to Millie as a character and that there were other characters I would've liked to have seen in the top 4.
Millie had to go that far to develop her arc.

To be honest, the season is pretty average for me due to the fact that boring and unnecessary characters were not kicked out for too long (Ripper, Zee, Chase, Emma, Millie), and some were not given a normal amount of time to develop (Wayne, Caleb, Axel, Nichelle, Damian). And also for me, the relationship of Raj and Bowie is very poorly spelled out and their relationship cannot be believed at all, because their relationship seemed to be written by 12 children who know about romantic relationships from old movies
