Thats because this show and this episode came out in a time when society was more balance then it is now. The 90s was a great time where equality seemed to be happening and you could have strong female leads, women in positions of power, inspiring female sports players without having a toxic attitude about it.
Today toxic personalities and behaviors infest so much in western culture that it ruins concepts like equality, having selfish attitudes and demeaning behavior making everything into a battle and everyone whos not inline with it the enemy.
Not just feminism, but everything in society today.

I remember that I loved this episode. The one thing it got wrong was with what Susan B Anthony did, after she illegally voted she was arrested and set to jail, it was a male friend of hers who paid for her to get out because he couldn't stand seeing a woman he respected in jail, that messed up her plan because her plan was to go to jail to argue her case in a higher court. Although in the episode it may have changed it to prove the point.

Misandry is a real problem. It's not non-existent, it's as real as any other evil in the world.
Imagine if all modern shows that promote misandry were genderbent. For example, let's have a Shaggy show where Shaggy hates Daphne for being a rich white female, that wouldn't go well now, would it?

The episode had an interesting yet rather sensitive idea, but however there was one major problem: the lack of equal consequences for the Powerpuff Girls actions - improper execution.
While most of the episode is decent enough with the intervention and Femme Fatale finally getting what she deserves for her crimes along with the history lesson about Susan B. Anthony, there was the lingering issue about the Powerpuff Girls not facing enough consequences for their actions against men. As a feminist, if not an equalist, I was disappointed/insulted given that the only thing the girls suffered was an intervention by Ms. Keane and Ms. Bellum. There should have been at least a part of the ending where after Femme Fatale was finally brought to justice for her crimes the Girls apologize to all the boys they bullied while filled with regret and shame for their offensive mistakes.
Given how this episode was supposed to be about equal rights there also needed to be equal consequences too. Fatale got what she deserved for her actions, the Powerpuff Girls deserved their fair share of the consequences too. Though asides from just apologizing to all the boys they bullied on-screen in addition to the Mayor and the Professor, I also believed that there should have been a very important lesson taught in kindergarten too: The fact that your actions can have consequences no matter what, regardless if your a boy or a girl.
I made a few memes about this episode and even rewrote the transcript on my DeviantArt account in where all the flaws were cleaned up; such as removing the outright unnecessary filler of Fatales montage. Extending the intervention scene in where more women scold the Girls for their offensive actions who were accompanied by their husbands who were all the parents of the Girls victims. An extended beat down of Fatale in where the Girls remain angry at Fatale while Bubbles and Buttercup get their fair share of the close-ups all with angry faces while shouting in unison "And the hammer of justice is unisex!" afterwards. Finally a newer part of the ending in where both Ms. Keane and the Professor both teach about sexism and how it goes both ways while the Girls apologized to all the boys they bullied while getting grounded right before the episode outrow.

"Don't use your gender as an excuse to do bad things."
That's the lesson my 8 year old MALE brain learned by watching this in the 90's. It's simple enough that a child could understand it, it's unisex because it applies to all genders, and it's still relevant.
Why do so many adults fail to understand something I figured out as a child!?

Yes indeed, real feminism is all about women and men having equal legal rights, education and career opportunities, etc., NOT man-hating or female supremacy. Unfortunately, even though you can certainly try to educate folks and/or respectfully disagree with them and explain things, in the end they're going to think what they want to think. SMH!
PS - If you think about it, the whole "women and children first" thing is endorsing misandry. So is the belief that military women shouldn't be allowed in combat...because it would be more painful to see a woman get killed or wounded than a man. If prioritizing women's lives and safety over men's isn't misandry (even if there are/were good intentions behind it), I don't know what is.

So stop it or the next time would be worse than before. I love girls with all my heart. But if you mean for what I am. Then you'll get what's coming to you.
