Teaching my son about our faith

- There’s a day coming, when my sons will step into manhood, possibly using moments like this is foundation. My biggest fear is that something about my character would turn him away from me. So my aim is to love and live on purpose. I knew that eventually if I had sons, I would need a way to check in with them so I started cutting hair knowing one day this would be an anchor for conversation. #Grateful #BeleafInFatherhood.

As someone who grew up in a strict Catholic home, conversations like this were never had. I was told just to believe blindly. Now, i realise with my own kids that it's not shameful or a sin to talk about, why, when, and how we have faith in the Lord. This is such a great video for our youth. much love from the uk 🇬🇧 ❤️
Exactly
❤❤
Watching from the UK 🇬🇧 too
Makes sense giving catholicism is satans religion.
❤
Love this conversation. Children have to learn how to own their faith for themselves.
Correct! It's hard to be grounded in faith if it's given to you or forced on you. When you make the choice for yourself, that's what makes it a "personal relationship."
Good to see you Brian
"And what does that mean to you?"
You're an incredible father already just for asking your son this question.
Daddy was like: “Not everyone drinking wine is thinking about Jesus son.” Lol😂
I love that kid. Thanks for sharing him with us!!!
He’s great!
Even as a non-Christian, I think it is important that you have conversations like this with your children in these kinds of situations. On the topic of religion or not. It just helps form a bond with your kids. I like the fact that you told your son that just because someone isn't Christian doesn't mean that they don't like god. Because I sure love god.
Awww what a genuine comment. Bless you.
You literally read my thoughts 😳 like word for word!
Have a good day❤
Love this ❤ As a fellow non-Christian with a close relationship with God, I agree 😊
You may like God but Jesus(Yahushua) is the way to true intimacy with the Father.
@@krystalprosperschannelAmen sis. 🔥
Best father out here
One of many
“A tool I use to keep territory in my sons life” I love being intentional about that
His facial expression at the end cracked me up 😂 so much personality. Wish I coulda heard this whole conversation!
The amazing innocence of an inquisitive child's interpretations of one's teachings. Amen🙏💕
Such a pure moment and I love how honest you spoke with him about it all. ❤
This is beyond beautiful.
In my church we have wine and unleavened bread. I love how you're teaching your children true biblical doctrine ❤
You're an AWESOME Father. Awesome! God rain blessings down upon your home in Christ Name! Amen! ❤
Thanks so much
This whole thing is so great! What I particularly love is the space Uriah had to ask questions, and the willingness Glen had to answer those questions. That's HUGE!! ❤
Praise the LORD and God bless your sweet family❤ I can't wait to share our faith with my son
❤
Love this father and son moment! ❤❤
i love this! it’s so fun and exciting seeing where kids’ questions takes both them and the listener/responder. he was asking good questions and i don’t doubt it was a good conversation y’all had
the cut is fresh too!
Thank you!
This brings me back to similar convos I had with my mom, who was a strong woman of faith. Some of my best memories of her are our talks about Jesus & the Bible 😊.
I'm not a person of faith anymore, but this was beautiful. Your sons have the best example of a Christ-lead man in you
It’s unfortunate that you are not a person of faith anymore. The Bible says without faith it’s impossible to please God. But I encourage you to seek God’s face and He will restore your faith. Whatever caused you to loose the faith in the first place, God can restore..Be encouraged my sister, God promises us that He will never leave us or forsake us.😊
@@nataliepope3286do you see the seed of religion in your speech? Or are you just blind to it?
Awesome conversation. Great opportunity to open up the scriptures for a greater understanding and clarity !!!
Amen ❤
Thanks for watching!
I wish all brothas had this.
This is a conversation that should be had in all households…. Just my opinion 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah Riah that’s exactly why we drink wine 😆…I love these babies ❤
Oh I love this sweet child. So inquisitive, so pure, so honest and loving. Sometimes I really cannot fathom why God loves humans so much, we are awful, but then I remember Riah, and I get it. You just cannot, not love him ❤
When my nephews and nieces were abandoned by their parents, my goal as an aunt was to take care of them and most importantly, introduce them to Jesus. And now we have talks like this 🥹❤️💕
Such a great conversation! And I love that not only does he remember things from the Bible, but he has questions and feels confident enough to ask them!
Uriah was such a strong & loyal warrior. A Hittite. @Beleaf , what a great befitting name for such a son.
Man, it is so nice to see the young/children receiving the building blocks of knowledge upon which they will grow and add to. Henry family keep doing what you do.
Yes, defining BOY power. Father and son conversational talk. Amen.
Giving their kids a safe space to talk about ALL things is exceptional. They are learning early on the importance of communication 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Such great parents raising great children
This was a beautiful conversation and so great to see him interested already in the faith. You're doing a great job Glenn, keep doing what you do!
The fact that you are taking the time to have deep conversations with your kids is beautiful.
You are such a cool dad!
VERY SMART AND INQUISITIVE KID💯💯💯💯💯
You & Yvette are doing a wonderful job ❤️
Dada, you are a blessing to your family and a good role model of what fathers should be like. 🙏🙏
Great job❤

Yooooo let’s goo great video as always brother! Much love
Appreciate it!!
I love the statement about keeping territory in your son's life. That connection, and your dedication to it, is so powerful for a child as they mature into adulthood.
So beautiful!🎉🎉🎉
Kudos to you and every other intentional father out there❤️🔥
LOVE THIS!!!! ❤
this is classic beleaf in fatherhood content
Beautiful bro 🙏🏾
“Wine gets you drunk” 😂
Thank you for this conversation with your Son 😂😊
Just all of a sudden got this vision of Uriah being a pastor when he grows up...
Before the video even started. ...
Haha that’s dope that you got that vision
@BeleafInFatherhood I truly did, even before the video was under way! He's asking the big questions at a young age. This was better than barber shop talk!
❤ this is so dope
Love the conversation.🤗🙏🏾 ❤
The 'wine' may be different in other churches, but in our church, it is 🍇 juice and not actual wine with unleavened 🍞 representing the body of Christ.
IF YE LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS❤️🙏🏿✝️🙌🏿
wow those were some great questions. He really took your answers to heart that’s dope
Beautiful conversation. This taps him into God as well as gives him a strong foundation in feeling open enough to talk to you.
Honest and insightful conversation with the youth. I LOVE this!!! Whoever says we shouldn't be open with our children and allow them to have a voice, opinions and beliefs truly need some self reflection. This is beautiful. Well done, per usual!!!!!
He is getting so big!!!
LOVE this!!❤
Thank God for all good parents. And explanation like this are need because this small thing can have him believe that word is not true.
REAL DAD!!!
You had me at hello....when I was first introduced to this channel. Have been faithful follower since then. This video right here, is another reason my love n admiration for this family n their beliefs! What a hug privilege to teach a child in the way they should go.....
Glad we could share this small moment with y’all
Awesome conversation
Love the innocence and curiosity
Pleasant and pious conversation between a father and his son which reinforces the strength and understanding of his faith. You've changed a lot, man, but I still look at your face with your pretty child lok's brother and you
I feel that it is very important to teach your kids about the gods origin and humanity❤
Great lessons & great cuts!!!
So lovely it made my tear up!
❤
Absolutely Beautiful! May Christ Jesus continually bless you and your beautiful family always.🙏🏽🙏🏽 ❤❤ Much Love

Beautiful.. Make me miss my dad
Yes yes yes
🙌🙌🙌🙌 love for Christ the true living God.
#daddygoals
Special adoration for him, I think of the TANDY he wasn’t suppose to eat.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
awww
I see Uriah has gain a lot of confidence lately.
Too many parents don’t have conversations like this with their kids and just expect dragging them to church every Sunday will teach them these lessons.
First of all, this is BEAUTIFUL! It’s so important to have these discussions with children. Wow. AMEN & Kudos to Beleaf for this! He seems like such a good Dad. The only thing I’d say different is if you don’t follow Jesus, the Bible says you don’t love the true God. I understood what he was saying, bc some people are still searching for the Truth and may not have yet accepted Christ, but ultimately, our love for God is shown in our acceptance of His Son, Jesus. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
John 14:15 NKJV
“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?”
Luke 6:46 NKJV
When a father is also a dad.
Beautiful video, grow the faith of you and your family by keeping the commandments thru the faith of the Messiah YAHAWASHI so we may have our seat as rulers in the kingdom. HALLELUYAH
Glen, Acts 2:37-39 is how to get saved. Very simple and straightforward.
Thx
@@mw3335his son asked if he was a Christian. This comment is speaking to what you must do in order to become a Christian.
We drink the new wine because were a new testament church... I call it grape juice
🖤🖤🖤🖤😊
I started cutting my sons hair when Covid hit, but once the world opened back up he went back to the shop. He broke his leg almost 2 months ago and I’ve been back to cutting his hair and it’s such a bonding experience ♥️. We talk or watch a movie unless he brings his switch into the living room then it’s focus time for his Rocket League 😂
Thank you.
When I see these awesome video’s
I ask
Are we parents ready for the
I see it differs dad, I am different?
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I attended communion at a Catholic Church with a high school mentor once and I never felt so judged. I guess I wasn’t supposed to take communion because I wasn’t Catholic or because I wasn’t a member. I grew up Black Baptist and no one was turned away for Communion but then I started attending a Nazarene church and I noticed that official members took Communion together after the congregation. I just don’t believe there are supposed to be that many rules. Anyway the Catholic Church was the only time I had real wine at Communion. Usually it’s grape juice and crackers. The last church it was grape juice and actual pieces of bread.
Thanks the sharing this peaceful bonding scene. Please consider that Jesus's blood is symbolized by new wine- unfermented juice from the grape. Fermentation in the Bible was a symbol of sin. There is no sin in Jesus and no fermentation in the grape juice (unfermenented wine) that symbolized His body. Peace family.
JESUS CHRIST IS LORD❤️🙏🏿✝️🙌🏿 JESUS CHRIST IS KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS❤️✝️🙏🏿🙌🏿
With that reasoning I’d say if u pray over the wine every time u drink it…it’s Jesus’ blood! 😝 😂 🤷🏾♀️ Just sayin! Y’all are so very sweet and thoughtful. All our children are blessings!!!
are u open to ur children abandoning or changing their belief?
I don’t have any control over that
🤎
0:39 John 14:15, if a person truly loves God, they will keep his commandments. Anyone who truly loves Christ is willing to bear his name Acts 11:26.
