You actually deserve some kind of award cause I’m baffled. You took what it is to be a dad and took it to another level, man. These kids are so loved its crazy. We love them, we love you and Yvette, god bless your family fr
You couldn’t have said it any better 😊
YESSSSS!!!
😂😂 Jedi mind trick in full effect: Beleaf: "you had chicken nuggets before we left. You just ate a hamburger. You're not hungry." Uriah (with look of complete confusion): "Im not?🤔" That whole scene had me dying!!😂 All jokes aside, thoroughly enjoyed this!👏🏾👏🏾 First time I can honestly say Ive seen a father do this with his son. Usually its a father & daughter doing this. I see why you're a member of The Dad Gang Beleaf! Stay awesome!💕
My boy was flabbergasted 🤣
I was cracking up too😂😂😂😂. I’m sharing this video with the men in my life to pass this on to the next generation.😊
Teach the children, Sir! Some young woman will thank you someday.
👏🏽🫶🏽🔥 Glenn! I've seen ZERO fathers do this! You are truly a strong, thoughtful father, man of God & wonderful role model! Praise Jesus for your forward-thinking! I've seen many dads take their daughters out to know how to be treated BUT never sons! This just blew my mind in that it is so simple & obvious, but NEVER done for young men!🥺🥹🙌🏽 Props Bro! Thank you! I pray more fathers follow suit!🩵
I knew I would love this video just from the title alone! This is yet another example of how intentional fathers transform communities. It’s such a beautiful thing to witness a king raising a king 🤴🏿
You’re so right! Just smiled through the video because these things should be taught…Just amazing 😊
As a young woman now, I would have wanted my late father to take me out on dates. Show me my worth as a woman but, also show me how to value a man. I find myself navigating adulthood and my relationship with more questions that should have been answered. Emotional intelligence is an important component within relationships.
My sisters and I are autistic. They're a lot younger than me, the youngest one is 18 years younger than me. I live far away from them and don't get to see them often but when I do see them I go out of my way to teach them that they are allowed to feel their emotions. Being autistic means we show our emotions differently than other people. I remind them that even tho people complain when they show their emotions, they're still allowed to feel them. They're allowed to be overwhelmed in a crowded room, they're allowed to not understand jokes, they're allowed to be interested in things. I also teach them how to better communicate in a way that is comfortable for them. We text a lot since I live far away but not call, they get anxious talking over the phone but could text my novels worth of things. I love them and just want them to have a good role model for how to live life with this disability.
Ty for helping them!
Wonderful you have each other! I have 3 autistic children and they have so much empathy for one another.
This is amazing, what a great sibling you are 🥰
You're a blessing for helping them and passing on your wisdom
Y♥️U & Y♥️UR beautiful sissy’s’ do not have a disability beloved Y♥️U have a GIFT🎶♥️🌎🎉🥰🙏🏽
I love this! Still watching, but the final test could be him taking Yvette out on the date to see what he remembered!
Yes!!
I teach my daughter that respectfulness is one of the best characteristics you can have, looking into someone’s eyes, do not outrightly embarrass someone. Patience. That’s what I try to teach my daughter
This maybe a topic to discuss with Anaya, but I wish my father would have shown me the attributes to look for when choosing a guy. I have a daughter who is now 22 and dating, and I have tried my best to tell her the things to look for in a man. Fathers play such an important role in their daughter's life as well as the boys. This was such a great video. 💯🤞🏼
Uriah is really resembling his Mommy as he’s growing into a young man. Same little smile. 😊
The things you are teaching your children ARE the things I wish my father would have been able to teach me. How to have a “snowball conversation,” how to appear interested… all of it.
I think it's more that you *communicate* that you're interested. The "appear interested" is good for networking....but if you're not interested in someone, then where is the advantage in appearing to be?
Sometimes you can be interested. But have bad body language and give off the impression that you’re not interested. Some people have quirks that give off disinterest.
Game=Rizz
😂I died when Riah asked “is that what you call it ?” And you responded “no because I’m old” . Straight comedy. Amazing job daddio!
I'm teaching my 8 year a lot of similar things. Responsibility for himself in cleaning, eating, education is important right now for him
Yo we gotta tap in
It would be nice more people are open to vulnerability on the first date. I think this day and age , everyone is so fast paced and after the first date, its either a follow up or none.
Quite true.
Wished my dad would have taught me that not everyone is worth trusting women or other dudes etc
That’s a good one
Sadly, that's our personality style....and it's other people's style to take advantage of us. There's help out there-even as an adult I'm working on this.
That's something you can't ve taught. You can ve taught how to make friends based of the standards which suit you the best. As you choose friends, your experiences will cause you to recalibrate as needed.
I wish my dad would have tought me how a man was supposed to treat me.
Absolutely love what you and Yvette are doing with the kids! Amazing.
Ooo my inner child squee’s when you guys post ❤
I love these videos ❤❤❤ God bless y’all and your family.
Great lesson...he seemed to enjoy it😊
Checking in from the DMV
I wasn’t expecting this but I loved this episode. The way Uriah was taking notes and wanting his dessert 👍🏿 I would love to hear Yvette’s opinion on dating. 😭👍🏿
I am definitely going to follow your lead and teach my daughter how to be a good date with someone of interest.
I wish my father would have taught me to be confident when speaking to men. I often find myself shrinking.
Yesssss that's so cool much needed
There are grown men who need to take this class. So many of the things mentioned in this video just ain't happening today. Dating/Courting expectations have taken a nose dive for both genders. Respect to you for teaching your son!
That was wonderful! I enjoyed watching you pour into your son and inspiring others to get back to the rearing of their children. Thank you for leading!
We remind young men in our work that #THEREisMOREtoYOU than people can see by looking at you, and
#THEREisMOREtoTHEM than people can see by looking at them.
#staycurious
That’s the #MillionMaskMovement
Love love love this. ❤❤❤
Shout out to your diligence Glen.
My dad would take my sister and I out to a high end restaurants where we had to dress for the occasion. He would say “ I don’t want my girls to be an impressed by a burger” … it’s a fond memory for us. It taught us about valets, matrie de, tipping, and many other lessons. It also gave us the palet for good food , both at home and in restaurants. These were valuable lessons. Great job nephew!
I LOVE THIS!!! Imagine a world where fathers teach their children like this. ❤
Beautiful ❤
I love watching these kids grow up. Great job dad. Teaching boys to be men one day at a time. I’m proud of the growth like I know these kids personally. I feel like an internet big cousin 😂
My oldest son is only four, but I have for the last couple years already been helping him remember and learn how to make iContact when he introduces himself, shake hands with a good firm grip, in addition to how we just train him to be kind and aware, and considerate of other people. I feel what you’re saying about the social media, taking over so much of younger generations interactions.
This was so sweet and refreshing to see. You're doing great things, and Im excited to watch this journey unfold ❤ One thing I wish my dad had done when I was growing up was to make me feel heard. He's always been there for me, but tends to recite all the cliché phrases in response to my words. Although they're not wrong or unappreciated, I just never really felt like he was actively listening to me, engaging with me and asking me questions; I think I just wished he had shown more engagement with me growing up.
lmaoooo everytime riah blushed i did too 😂🤭 this had me teary eyed! youre the father alot of us wish we had ❤️
Why is this about to make me cry? 😅
I have a son and either I or his father will absolutely be doing this with him when he’s older - both as far as dating and also just how he carries himself in public in general, with his family, his friends, or a potential partner.
Uriah is hilarious!! He said Im Not hungry??? 🤔🤣🤣🤣
I wish my dad was around to teach me how to choose a man, and how i should be treated as a woman. That void missing in my life, led to a lot of heartache and pain.
So that this cycle of pain isn’t repeated I’m teaching my daughter how a man supposed to treat her and how she should conduct herself as a young lady to get the respect she deserves☺️
Thank you Beleaf for addressing this topic its what we need to overcome some of these generational traumas🤎🤎🙏🏾🙏🏾 you are a great father your children should be proud 🥹
AMAZING!!!
Exactly what our children need….to be loved, taught, RAISED. ❤
This was so small and subtle but when he said “is that what YOU call it?” Was so lovely. He cares about learning from you and holds your opinion higher than what other folks say. That was so nice to see.
I hope I can help teach my nephew how to be curious about people and know that everyone has value just by existing - not just because of what we want from them, or how they look, etc.
Very sweet
I wish my dad would have done father daughter dates but also trained me on maintenance for the house and cars as well. Thanks for the content !
Just amazing ! May God bless you and your family ! Thank you for sharing
I luv what you are doing with your children. I have been a fan since your TedX talk and it is such a blessing to so your continued growth and the growth of the family. Have a very Merry Christmas and God's VERY BEST for 2024
This was a such a beautiful moment to witness. I hope to be this type of mother.
I love EVERYTHING about this video!!!! So awesome. Such fantastic lifelong lessons. Annnddddd then this baby wanted to take notes?? On his own?!?! LOVE.
You and your wife are such fantastic parents. I know we only get the highlights, but there is no question that your children know you love them and you all do such a great job of molding and shaping them while allowing them to be their authentic selves. Much applause and respect!!
I love this so much especially when he took notes!😭🥹❤️ God bless your family!
This made me cry because we need more fathers like you. Men need to be taught how to respect women and how to treat them. 👏🏾 great job!
This world needs more men/father's like you! I'm a single mom and I try to teach my son life skills like this but it just hits different coming from a respectable man. I plan to show my son your channel so he can learn these wonderful lessons 🫶
Love this! So refreshing to watch!
I absolutely LOVE this. Thanks for creating this content.
This was so cool to watch. 😅 Proud!
I'm an Auntie and try to teach my brother's twin daughters how to say hello when they walk in a room. When answering someone say "yes" because shaking of the head and saying "uh huh" is not lady like.
I love how you are with your children and just being real with them
Love this!!! Great job dad! 💯😍
I love this, thank you 😢❤
This was really lovely and necessary. Uriah is such a cute and sweet boy. Bless yall. Praying for viral success on this one.

This is such a great idea!
Glen is the MAN !!!❤🎉
LOVED this! ❤ raising young kings and a queen🎉
There are grown folks who need this lesson
😂😅🙈
This was sooooo adorable!
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! Truth. Eating etiquette is a must! I walked out mid date because he chewed with his mouth open🤢
I love this so much ❤
I really really loved this ❤
Love this ❤!!
I love how he responded and changed how he sat the moment you educated him about it. I love that he listens. I love what you are doing with your sons cause it gives a lot of hope to our daughters. (Future daughters for me tho. lol)
I LOVE this family ,this father IS amazing !
love love love this!
Great job Beleaf. I find that I still have to teach grown men to remove their hats, let the lady order first when dining and let her walk on the inside, geesh, sad but true. Keep it up, maybe you could create a young men's mentoring group to teach them these things once the chocolate babies are out of the house, you've got your hands full right now😊. Blessings
@BeleafInFatherhood the question at the end is such a gr8 and loaded question. I am going to give u my answer. I am the oldest of three girls. My sisters and I were raised by a single mom from the time I was eight until she remarreid when I was 16. Our father was in the military and didn't come around but a few times during those yrs. I grew up not knowing much about boys and what they were really about. My mom told us some things but for me, I think it would have been better to hear it from my father. I never knew what it was like to go on Daddy/Daughter dates nor learned how a man is supposed to treat a lady. These are very important lessons little girls need to learn from the fathers as well. So be sure, Beleaf, to take your daughter on dates and have the talks with her about boys. Had my father cared about me and my sisters like that, I don't think we would have made half the mistakes we made in choosing the men we messed with or had children with.
I love this for you and Uriah ❤, and for him.
I wish my dad had taught me about money. He tried though. I love him. Bless his soul 😂
What a beautiful fatherly concept.
Uriah was deep listening I thought the was about to dose off 😂😂😂 go head boy!
I love this!
I love this, wish all dads could do this.love love love.
I know grown dudes that need this training, real talk 😮 Your swag and money can only get you but so far....can i talk to you, confide in you, laugh with you and find common ground to build upon. Social media has made us none social beings.
Wonderful job dad!!
I so love Riah😂. When he said, "I,m not!?"🤔 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is so crucial! My dad didn't stary sharing a lot of this with me until I was already a teenager (aside from having pride iny appearance).
Teach em young!
my heart is full ❤
This episode is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!!
