yeah my friends dad is a BMW master tech offered me 600$ to do the CCV and Oil filter housing gasket, good deal or not? because from what i understand replacing the CCV just takes time not a very complicated procedure.
Also i'm doing my VANOS, any tips on that? from what i understand its also quite simple got all my parts genuine BMW gonna replace the Valve cover that's leaking in the rear then i've got new iridium laser sparks and the new VANOS seals and VANOS gasket, don't need to reset the timing as long as i don't move the cams correct?
+ElAhmadGaming $600 is full dealer price , do the $15 catch can and be done with it, vanos seals are $35 on eBay for upgraded VITON
Don't let the trolls get you down Nathan. I really appreciate your videos. I'm fortunate to have a decent "stealer" close by, however, you do show things that I might tackle myself someday. You show all the steps and things that you show on BMW's makes me understand my car better. Like when you mentioned that an "exhaust cam sensor" was a common issue on the 3.0 e46. I just had mine in for service and they suggested I replace mine. The car runs like new again. I'm not sure if that's the same for other folks but it made a big difference in the power and even helped the MPG... ANYWAY, thanks for the videos... There will always be haters, forget them, folks like you make CZcams a great source of information.

Do you have a tutorial on removing the actual center console? my e39's power lock switch (the one next to the hazzard switch) is not functioning i'm thinking a loose connection maybe but i have no idea how to remove thanks Nathan!

Where are you located? Because my BMW 2001 525i, no one in my area wants to mess with it because of the type of import it is. Go figure. Lol.
