BMW E39 5 Series: Center Console Trim Install

- Replacing the center console trim on a 2000 BMW M5. My M5 has the "Titan Line" trim. I could only find the part from BMW for a price of $314.70. Installation is fairly easy, anybody with a screw driver can do it as long as you're comfortable disassembling some basic parts of your car. There are multiple wiring adapters that will be disconnected during install, I foresee no problems.

I have a new idea for a video for you, I have seen a couple of these on you tube and they seem to all get great comments back but anyway here is my idea. Basically all you is drive around town for a bit and get it one camera so that we know how the car performs in everyday activities. Example: What type of sounds it makes as it goes over bumps, what the normal driving sounds are. I don't know I am sure you could probably thing of more examples than I could. Anyway glad to see the console done.

very helpful vid...i just turned 23 and i bought a 540i6 and i was trying to figure out how to remove my wood center so i could sticker bomb it
Good job, have ever thought of those kind of carbon black color adhesive thing to cover all your trim pieces or whichever color you think it might go with your interior?
I was replying to another comment, who was gonna sticker bomb (It's a rice thing where you put a TON of stickers on something to completely cover it up, look it up on youtube or google) his 540 center console. Didn't the reply thing work? It worked on my screen, but youtube can be pretty strange at times

@PHXNATIVE40 Nothing wrong with a BMW and you have also clearly missed the idea of "Christmas" weather you are christian or not because it is a gift from his "family" meaning that chances are any of his siblings or other close relatives would of chipped in a bit to pay for his gift which inst overly large considering. And by the way what made you think that he does not have a job? For all you know he graduated top of his class whilst you still work at that diner down the road
