Intel has upgraded 14nm tech and also branded it as 10th gen along with ice lake.

Apple samsung dell over and over again will do that, especially if recorded with high quality, and you say mostly good things about them, half of the tech channels do that, some do over 100 videos a year just on the iphone, ipad, macbook pro imac, note, galaxy, xps, some even multiple times aday, making sure to always keep those brands looking good, although max does list the shortcomings to occassionally.

even tho i love mac OS . i switched to xps because its actually what i want and need. a 2-1 ... i'm so much more productive with writing on the screen. signing signatures on emails quick, screen shot and draw in highlights, jotting down notes FEELS great, & just a much more expansive way of interacting with your laptop. i use photo editing and before on apple os - and i highly unliked carrying 2 computers. on the ipad doing hand edits on it and then transferring file to MBP to work out the final product - but with 2-1, also with a lot of other creative software you are much more IMMERSIVE in your projects simply by incorporating touch into your workflow. i love apple and mac os. but i feel so constrained with the hardware limitations in comparison with the xps. working with the xps is much more liberating and much much more productive and efficient - they should rename it the xps pro lol

You can get an XPS and run Adobe Premiere Pro, or you can get a MacBook and use iMovie which comes pre installed for free and should do the job for editing vlogs. You can also buy Final Cut Pro on the MacBook if iMovie isn’t powerful enough for you. Personally, I’m leaning towards the MacBook since I enjoy video editing in Final Cut Pro and iMovie. The only downside to the MacBook is that you need to buy a USB type C to USB type A dongle in order to plug in any accessories, but they’re cheap on amazon. Hope this helps, good luck!

Just finished boxing up the Dell XPS 13 2in1 for return. Coming from an early 2015 MBP 13 and the XPS was a letdown. The XPS design is beautiful and feels solid, but Windows drivers are still buggy. Spent hours updating and configuring the way I like it and the SupportAssist tool promptly updated BIOS and Killer WiFi 6 drivers, only to lead to icons disappearing from my Quick Launch and the WiFi control console no longer starting. I honestly would rather continue using my 5-year-old MBP over the latest XPS 13 2in1. Getting ready to order the new MBP 2020. Thank you, Max, for the insight reviews and comparisons!

Dude, this is a horrible comparison, you barely metioned the XPS' 360 design, and furthermore, you messed up your Mac facts, it's not using Intel's higher-end chip, it's using a two-generation old chip. Also, Geekbench 5 is soley x64 based, so that its tests can be more stress and performance-based, i.e. on these x64 systems, Geekbench 5 is more reliable for accurate results.
I think they're both solid laptops, however the keyboards deserve more of a mention. Apple's butterfly keys are infamous for their loud noises and dust issues (that membrane did nothing). Also, the Mac software is generally superior as well as its build quality (not inlcuding the keyboard), that's also an important discussion seeing as though it's what people will be using for the next few years.
One last point, actually show footage of the computers running software. I think its important to show how the computers actually run certain applications, not just CZcams.
    Please improve for future comparisons.

Modern MacBook Pros are cursed with design flaws: a keyboard which fails after some time, a serious design flaw with the display cable/connector, insufficient cooling and a soldered ssd which doesn't have a data recovery port. To perfect the disaster Apple decided to make a repair as hard as possible and they will charge you insane amounts of money even for the smallest repair. On top of that both of the laptops in this video have a poor amount of ports which isn't very Pro at all.

I've tried a lot of laptops before. I had Lenovo, Microsoft surface pro lineup, HP, DELL, Apple, Razer and MSI from the top of my head.
And anecdotally, Apple just lasts longer. Maybe I need to go through a youtube playlist on how to maintain windows as an operating system, but from personal experience an Apple 3 years from now is more functional than a windows laptop 3 years from now, not to mention a higher resale value.
While you definitely get more bang for your buck in the windows devices (at initial value, without factoring in resale), I found myself frequently replacing windows devices more often. Dell was pretty damn good though.
Right now, my MSI laptop is in repairs so I'm currently at a toss up between a DELL or an apple. I am eager for the new 13"/14" Macbook pro, but I'm in need of a computer urgently :(

How does that compare to the MacBook Pro? IMHO the Dell trackpad is equivalent to the Mac - first time I’ve experienced this. I used to be a Mac fanboy but switched to Windows 10 because of crappy Microsoft Office support on MacOS. I really like Windows 10 personally.
My Mac envy days are over, probably forever now that I have this Dell laptop. It is widely acknowledged that Apple has put their computer business on the back burner. The latest MacOS release has been a disaster. Microsoft seems to have gotten its mojo back in many ways. I have reasonable confidence that the Windows/Dell ecosystem is a better bet for the future.

Neither there is so much competition, from Lenovo, Asus, surface pro and laptop, lg gram, VAIO, and the razor stealth,a 13" with a real gpu, and others.
Both are good, though, except for this soldered on madness, good to see some like Microsoft, and LG and others staying thin, " And " letting you have upgradeable ssds, memory, and tons of ports, it can be done, but companies would lose huge profits from insane ssd and ram upgrade at purchase prices.
    I mean like $300 to go form 8GB to 16Gb, that's $300 for 8gb, or $300 to go from 128GB (too low) to 256GB, that's $300 for 128GB more.
When ssd's 1tb pro fast ones at $80, even Samsung's super fast 1tb is $150 retail, and these companies buying millions pay have that, I am guessing they pay $10 or less to go from 128Gb to $256, and no more than $30 to go from 8GB to 16GB, and by soldering it on by design and making at purchase you're only time to upgrade by design they scam so many, when in fact they can make the machines just as thin and still allow ssd and ram upgrades, but they do not because it would ruin they're highly profitable scam.

Eh, it's the opposite for me. Every dell I've had pretty much still works fine. I've had too many macs have hardware failure...
I think it's not very reasonable to use one example as a generalization however. I don't say that Mac's are all doomed to fail but I'm certainly jaded.

Which 3 dells did you have? Often with comments like this the user buys actual garbage low end products from dell or any company

Ann B I’ve had three too. One was from 2007 and didn’t break but was just old and slow. One was from 2012 which was the same case. I’m now using a 2017 XPS 15 9560. Only problem I have with it is if I don’t routinely redo the thermal paste it throttles.

Same with me, XPS 13 and some Microsoft Surfaces crashed 1 or 2 months after the warranty expired. lol They don't last. Apple lasts, thats proven. I may buy one if I can easily install windows on it.

XPS could be a much better laptop hardware wise but it's the macOS which makes me stay, man. macOS for life.

I have been using HP since 1998, had so many laptops and desktop. I don't know if it is luck or so but I have had many bad experience with HP. On almost all of them something always gets blown just after the warranty period is over 😂 Now also I'm using one hp pavilion 2-in-1 which I had to repair 2 days back as it was again blown and couldn't turn on. Warranty ended in Aug 2019

Macs used to be unique and ahead of everything, but nowadays they look like boomer tech.
    Apple needs to revamp EVERYTHING.

I have a question... Why is everyone so hype over touch screen laptops??? I HATE fingerprints on my screen. That's why you have a tablet/iPad.
