      Thank God! This young man is a testament of strength, character, and bravery. He conducted himself with integrity and honor through this entire trial. I can't say enough thank you's to the jury for their decision. I hope he gets counseling services b/c he obviously has been traumatized. I'm from MN, I watched what happened in Minneapolis, half of the protestors were bussed in from out of town in most of the cities around the US. I'm all for peaceful protests, but what we witnessed across the country was riots and destruction. And what did that accomplish? You can't blame a victim for defending himself. If they had left him alone, they would still be alive.

    Every time I look at this video and the video of his testimony, my heart goes out to this young man. The prosecutor was ridiculous. Charging him was ridiculous. The fact that the video CLEARLY SHOWS OTHER PEOPLE ATTACKING HIM FIRST, and the media just blamed him with 0 proof, shows the massive decline in common sense and decency. whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

    Probably the only time I've been able to root for the defense team. The media usually only reports on guilty verdicts because it's more interesting to hear about someone getting convicted. As such, prosecutors get most of the recognition most of the time.
    Here it isn't the case, the defense attorneys are the true heroes. And they did their job well!

    Panic attacks are real, guilty or not. I CAN imagine what this young kid is experiencing in that court room. The rest of his life hangs in the balance. Anxiety in full effect, and it isn't fun, even if found not guilty, which he was!

      A young kid facing the rest of his life in prison would be torture. Not a chance to even live, yet. It was great to see a fair trial even tho that damn prosecutor was trying to play ball his way. They need to fire that DA. There shouldn't have been charges to begin with. The videos clearly show him being attacked. Not him going out of his way to murder people. Imagine if he didn't have a weapon? They would have really messed him up.     It's ridiculously hard to even follow major court cases like this because the mainstream corporate media does such a terrible job of laying out all of the information pertinent for the public to come to it's own logical conclusions. I remember very clearly the night that this happened. Twitter was blowing up with videos from the shooting, people on the ground told me and others that it was self defense, he was trying to provide first aid, wanted to help protect local businesses.
    To me, it always seemed like self defense, the people who attacked him mistook him for the wrong threat, and unfortunately one thing led to another.

    I believe the reason the jury took their time was so that they could never be accused of jumping the gun. They took the time to look at everything and fully recognize that there was no shadow of a doubt. And I am glad they did. It was talked through. No media source would be able to claim otherwise.     Can't imagine how difficult it would be to wait for the jury knowing you did nothing wrong, knowing you could be taken straight to prison for life with your family in the court room. I bet he was emotionally exhausted.

    I cannot tell you all how much this means to me as a 32 year old man with a son. I was literally lied on when I was 18 and spent 12 months of a 30 month sentence only to be completely exonerated once my accusers decided to turn their life to God and tell the truth...
    I have ptsd, I have some issues, major trust issues...
    But I have broken down watching this young man's knees give out.
    I was facing a life sentence, got 30 months and felt like I got lucky until I was finally cleared of all crimes.
    I remember that feeling...
    The feeling of knowing you will be able to have a normal life again.

    The thing that still pisses me off is that this even went to trial. The prosecutors office should have watched the videos of the events and then stated publicly that it was a good shoot and that were bringing charges against those attackers that were still alive for their crimes.

      I'm in the 12th grade and I just don't see the justice . Kyle got an assault rifle crossed state lines and shot 3 men killing 2 . what was his motive ?

      @@justmyopinion9405 he did not cross state lines with the gun. It was already there. Belonged to his friend. He put a fire out that was set by one of the victims. That victim then yelled im going to kill you and started after Kyle. He ran in defense until the guy was on him and left him no choice. Every instance he was attacked. He was in all rights to defend himself.
      All the evidence and witnesses, even the prosecutors, proved it was self defense. The film footage proves self defense. Your school has failed you on education.
      The constitution and your rights and freedoms. I have the right to walk around with my rifle. And use it in self defense. I generally carry a pistol cause i like to conceal carry. But if i wanted. I could carry my rifle. I have also been told i could bring it to work. Its presence alone would prevent a possible robbery and harm to a clerk or patron.
      I suggest you research our founding fathers, their ideas and what the constitution really stands for. Not that watered down education with a lot of falseness they are teaching you all today.

      @@jasonjenkins4526 plus, it's likely God won't count the transgression against him. He was attacked and the three guys weren't letting up, so he had to defend himself. Him killing two of them in self defense is protected. To make martyrs out of a common criminal means you promote evil instead of good. Judgment in the situation will be handed to the three rioters. Two just happened to have their judgment handed already.
