Hopefully this video is helpful to anyone who is wanting to get into shark fishing but knows basically nothing about it.

Cool video man! Love some sharks in the surf or from a yak! Really enjoying your channel man.
thank you i enjoy yours as well
I absolutely love the way you handled her. I'm so happy when I see people respect and care for these fish!
Also FL has a special educational requirement for shore-based shark fishing now. It's free and very informative. I'll be there again this October, but we usually fish in 'Bama.
Just did them 2 days ago myself. I kinda appreciate it as a conservationist.
@@MrSlayerkid117 Yes, I like learning and if I had known more details a little bit sooner, we'd eaten the 2' Bonnethead caught on the beach that week.
Where do you take this required class at
@@user-uj3xf7ye9x online. Same place we buy our license.
Great video man. Thank you for sharing the details. Love it 🙌👌👏
Great information! Loved the video man 👍🏻
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Some excellent info there!
hope it helps.
Wow this is awesome! Awesome been looking for a good beach setup. What’s your pole? Also would this work with red drum too? Like your pole and reel setup and line?
man that surf was calm!
need another day like that soon
This is great man. If the opportunity ever presents itself would be cool to a see a video on how you go about getting bait for a trip like that. I'm ignorant to Texas coast life so I don't know if ya just buy it or catch it.
we cast net mullet and have been buying a few rays from a bait shop
really enjoyed this. quick question - do you guys ever use a gaff if fishing solo to drag the shark in ? I have both rope and gaff with telescopoc pole. personally I'd rather use the gaff.
Hey Henry, wasn't your first channel name "Sharkbait"? or something similar? I know you know about shark fishing. Your handling them in the last bit shows that to those of use who have dragged a few in on the beach and aren't quite so familiar with 'em.
Great tips dude.
Thanks for the upload.
Subbed..
appreciate you sir

Have you caught a live fish and let it swim out ? Free lining ?
Currently that reel is going for almost #200. If you go with the BG get 6500 which holds 550 yds of 50lb braid. it should be sufficient if you fight the fish well.
How far do you send the baits out
Bro ya my favorite thank you i get in shark fishing
What kinda rod you using length/MH/H?
Can a surfcasting rod 400-800gr and a Penn spinfisher 10500 be a good combo for shark fishing ? And what size of line do you recommend ?
prob 80 pound or 100 pound braid
@@CatchingDinosaurs alright ! I’m from Ivory Coast in west Africa and we have some nice river mouth with many bouledogue shark ! Have to test one day fishing those sharks ! I have another question have you ever seen a bouledogue jump entirely out of the water ? I saw a big big shark yesterday at this place and I don’t really know what shark it was
What rod are you using?
ive never yaked out bait but im debating trying for the first time for a tournament that only allows kayaks...is it hard or pretty straight forward?
Super straight forward. Just tow it out and drop it when you are ready. Then hurry back to the beach
when the bait is out, do you have the drag real loose and then tighen it once the shark has it?
Don’t want it too loose. Having it a bit tight but not too much is good so that when the shark picks up the bait and decides to take a run, the hook gets set nicely. That’s what works for me anyways🙏🏼🦈
Mình rất thích câu cá bờ biển ! Mình ở Việt Nam 🇻🇳 ! Có dịp đến Việt Nam để giao lưu nhé ! 🥰
Could you use 60 lb braid?
Nice video
!!
what beach is that one ?
corpus
What rod are you using for shark fishing?
vexxan xxh 8'6 or ugly stik tiger in medium rated to 50 pound mono 7 foot.
i went to 500 pound mono shock leader btw, i wouldn't use 300# a big fish will cut you with it
nice video!! which coast is this in Texas?
galveston
just curious, what mullet?
we ran some mullet they weren't getting hit hat day
That's the biggest bluegill Iv'e ever seen. And Iv'e seen some studs.
Is this in cape town
What beach is that
You ever get into them in wa state
Nice content👍🏽 y’all need to let me go on a trip with ya sometime! (pSE…)
Seems like a big sinker for light surf
Texas is known for having more extreme currents going sideways down the beach then most other states. Allot of people from Florida come here and find it to be a difficult fishery.
Bro i wamt to catch a shark for bro babe and family to eat ia rh good
