I would agree, all of those things would be crazy LOL! The title is a bit clickbaity unless you consider seeing fish and snails in the ocean “crazy”. If so then I guess those were “crazy” things LOL!
Awesome! Only one clump of seaweed in the whole area and it still finds your rig! You can literally see the moment that panic sets in on the fish's face. This was great!
Wow a go fish cam. This thing is awsome, Man o man has tec come a long way. This gives you a major advantage, to know what the fish like and act like is priceless.
When I first started fishing, it didn't take long for me to realize just how intelligent some of these fishes are ...I noticed especially when I used to free dive with schools of fish
Thank you for that! I absolutely enjoyed watching what goes on below the water. Seeing the fish fight to shake the hook was like "Oh, oh! Help! They got me." Not funny, but funny bc we as people are the same when busted. Seriously, that was very neat to see. On my next fishing outing I will always remember this and try your techniques on the floaters. Thanks 👍🏽
Pompano are the best fish I've ever eaten I had cleaned the dozen I had caught cleaned them forgot to freeze them left them in the fridge for three days no smell , I was astounded , then the taste they were amazing .
Awesome video with some crazy footage! Although, I'm pretty sure those gar were actually members of the halfbeak family, a Ballyhoo or a Balao, simply as the caudal fin is forked rather than truncate. I'd love to see more stuff like this for sure!
So a little tip. They can see the gear. They can see it all. Depending on how hungry they are depends if they hit it. Small tackle rewards more fish. Always. Also fluorocarbon. So important. Natural looking is best. I once had a friend from Fl. That could catch fish in a mud puddle. I miss fishing. I had a tricked jet ski that I fished off in Cape Canaveral so much fun!! Tight lines you beautiful people!!!
He's just hungry 😂 if I was a fish I'd starve I'd be to scared to eat anything lol... I can just imagine fish telling story's like humans for about alien abductions... I wonder if were the aliens in there story's haha.
Great footage! Good lesson. Skip shack is in the tuna family. Our lady fishes a cousin of the tarpon zero relation. Lived on both coasts to Florida for 38 years. Your reference to Lady fish as skipjack is the first I've ever heard!
Beautiful! We used to spend summers in old Naples, Fl before it become well known and we had the beach to ourselves…. We collected so many different shells and my favorite was the olive. To see that live in the water here is so interesting. I had no idea it was an olive snail. Thank you for the video and narration.
My dad used to camp on Marco Island when there was zero development. He told me the State of Florida had a chance to buy the entire island for two million dollars and passed -- the chance was lost to turn it into a state park. Two brothers with the last name Marco owned it, according to him. .
Many years ago, vacation on Grand Cayman. Rented a villa on the North Shore, right on the beach. Coral reef about 200 yards out, water about 15 feet deep inside the reef. My brother-in-law and I fished and snorkeled. I could actually watch as fish interacted with his bait, bit, got hooked, fought, etc. Amazing to see that, especially in such crystal clear water. Also took a short walk to Cayman Kai, where I hooked the only bonefish in my life. Took off like a lightning bolt. Broke my line in seconds. My drag was set too tight. I couldnt believe the speed of that thing.
I love this, thank you. I have surf fished from Sebastian to Ft. Laud. in the keys, and in Captiva. We used pyramid weights for Pompano but this was calm for you. I wish you'd had some snook activity. Thanks!
That water is beautiful. Also, those lady fish are so pretty they're transparent looking..very cool to see this perspective. I live in Maine, and we don't have beautiful surf fish like this. Also, I've never heard of a circle hook, I don't fish all that often, but I've really been thinking about picking it up again like I used to. Thanks for this!
I think they're more reflective than anything and only appear transparent because they reflect the surrounding light back, which just blends them into the background.
I do not surf fish (live in north Texas), but your video was super interesting to watch and your commentary very helpful in understanding what you're looking at. Very fun to watch!
It's really cool being able to see these transparent/silvery fish in their element. Bonus points for catching what appears to be a Hermit Crab. Personally, I just want to put a couple of cameras in my turtle tank.
That is so awesome!! Thank you that's probably the best and closest I will ever get so again thank you I love fishing first time I went i was 3 or 4 my dad took me been hooked since 😂❤
Howzit FISHGUM!! Aloha from Hawai'i. Love your fishcam videos--keep em coming please. I wish all our fish over here were as generous with biting the hooks as they are in your vids. I just started a channel recently with footage from my fishcam also. We have a harder time using it out here in the islands --though between rocky reef snags, a multitude of baitstealers, strong rip currents, hawaiian sea turtle hook ups, and the lingering threat of hungry tiger sharks -it is challenging. I've just begun to dive my fishcam and bait out and drop it in deeper water just because it's harder to cast the fishcam plus the heavier lead really far out. I've got some interesting footage for sure. Keep doing what you do and I'll be watching for sure. Aloha!
Great video, always wanted to know what was on the bar. But, are olive snails venomous? I've seen them slithering around last time same time this video was made. I was kind of afraid to pick them up.
Be very afraid. My diarrhea friend had two attach to his scrotum while taking multiple shits in the ocean due to unfamiliar bacteria in his guts from eating at a street taco stand. He stood waist deep, naked except for a towel around his neck to wipe the salty sweat profusely pouring from his head, while streams of hot, wet diarrhea shot violently out of his ass, over and over until his sphincter, bright red from blood and over exertion collapsed under the strain. For 16 hours he stood there, a solitary figure with only his thoughts and regrets for company and a tattletale murky brown cloud of shitwater surfacing every little while only to be pushed to the beach by the rolling surf. When all was said and done and he was back on dry land towelling his 305lb of blubber off, we noticed 2 olive snails attached to his nutsac. But that’s a whole other story.
I love how you have floats on your droppers to keep them off the bottom. To me it looks like the fish either can not see your bait or are just not interested in what your serving to them. I would love to see what we call a snatcher hook on your rig. It's a hook with tinsel tied to the shaft, they flash and shimmer. You add bait to them like a normal hook, the added flash really makes the fish see it and investigate. You can tie your own there very simple to make.
Hard nose aka blue runner make the the best fish tacos of any fish. They also grill really well. Pretty sure that float spooked all the fish. I found the top down dropper rig or a grouper rig works fantastic for both surf and reef fishing. Once I changed to that rig my hookup rate skyrocketed. Especially in coral. The grouper rig is helpful for more timid fish like strawberry grouper or rock hind. Usually use 2 to 4 inches on the leg on coral max.
Had a friend who was a lake trout and salmon fisherman (from a boat) and he splurged and bought himself a camera. He went out one day, a d recorded his bait trolling through the water. It was amazing how many fish came up to investigate the bait. Folks often say "ain't no fish in this lake" when they don't catch any for the day, but truth be told, there are a ton of fish it seems according g to the video from my friend
Is this a wireless camera link
Gofishcam.com
No, he threw that camera 100 feet out with a cable following the fishing line at the same speed with the same distance 🤦♂️
@@forgivenessbeast-3513 hes asking if you can watch the video live, from the camera, wirelessly.
@@forgivenessbeast-3513 No need for this. You actually misunderstood the question.

The Olive Shell crawling through the sand was Very Cool.👍🏼
‘Crazy Things’ would include a shark eating a baby, a human foot, or SpongeBob SquarePants. Just an FYA for future videos.
Now that’s FUNNY! 😂 🤣

No more guess work!
I am 62 and grew up in CA and always wondered what was going on beneath my feet while playing in the surf when I was a kid. This was great!
Don't know a thing about fishing but this was informative, interesting and loved listening to you explaining what we see!
I don’t know why I love to watch these so much but I do! They’re interesting and also bring a kind of peace
When I first started fishing, it didn't take long for me to realize just how intelligent some of these fishes are ...I noticed especially when I used to free dive with schools of fish
Great idea!!! One bait is on the bottom, and the second is on a sinking float in the water column! I will definitely do this!
I loved the purple snail! I so much loved this video and thanks 🙏🏽 so very much I smiled all the way !!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Actually enjoyed watching the olive. Only know the shells but haven't seen a live one before. 👍

Super 😎 video! Love the clear water. Reminds me of my teenage years living in the Virgin Islands.
Great view. Really loved seeing the sand flea. Should post more. Have fun.❤️
So awesome, have never done fishing in an ocean, would very much love too. It's crazy how clear the water is, incredible. THANK YOU
very cool
I tried at a beach in NSW Australia once and caught a massive snapper and brim it was fun as :D
I predict you will love it .
Then just go and do it?
One good thing about surf fishing is there isn't rocks to get hung up on.

That water is so clear. Nice shots. Thanks
This is some awesome perspective of what's going on on the hook side of things. It's amazing that even so close to shore, it is teaming with life...
Incredible footage, bud! Just earned a new sub! This was really helpful 😊

Didn't know this type of camera existed. Waaaay Cool! Great tool to improve how to fish better.
I live on Atlantic coast. Seeing just a few feet under is such a revelation.
One of the wildest vanish points of fishing that I have ever seen. That is amazing.

How cool! I've seen the olive shells but never seen the snails before.
Very cool. Thought about throwing my go pro a few times. This is the way to go!

Cool underwater videos 👍🏻
None of the other fish helped him when he got hooked. They were like "Oh sorry dude, sucks to be you."
"Why's that guy freaking out?"
Been checking your channel out here and there for a few months, but this one got my sub.
Great video, always wanted to know what was on the bar. But, are olive snails venomous? I've seen them slithering around last time same time this video was made. I was kind of afraid to pick them up.
What camera did you use to film this interesting video?
They are often compared to cone snails, which are known to be highly venomous, but Olive snails are not dangerous.

Fishcam? Awesome! Now I can see why I suck at fishing!
This is like those fishing game where you can see from the baits perspective , but its real life, pretty cool
Awesome footage. I believe those "gar" are actually ballyhoo.
Awesome video and great insight!
Thank you bro. Beautiful. Good narrative ❤
Love it! Great video!
Great video ! Good reason to move your bait frequently. 👍
So freaking cool. Learned something.
