    I was trying to do sprints a couple years ago, but rushed in and hurt my knee. Solid advice in video and i think I'll restart tomorrow using method you talked about.

    Sprinting on the spot works too. 20 seconds sprint mixed with gentle jog or even rest. Build that up to 10 minutes or 8 rounds

    My abs I used to ripped. I didn't do ab workouts. Guy ask me I never seen abs so ripped and how did you get it like that I said I don't know. I know now I been playing football, basketball and all that sprinting got my abs ripped.

    Adam. I like the idea of adding sprints back into my workout. About four years ago I got a case of bursitis in my left knee that lasted for the better part of two years. Now the pain and the swelling are gone, but the knee still feels tight. I'm putting good resistance on it at the gym and no problems yet. But is there a chance that running sprints could cause the bursitis to flare up again? I used to do HIIT training on the treadmill at the gym alternating between fast walking at 3-4 mph alternating with sprint intervals of 9-10 mph. I used the treadmill to make it more low impact. Thank you. Your videos are great.

  • @seriouslyawesomegirls8638

    I have been hearing about the benefits of sprints for a while but wasn't motivated enough to start. Now that you have revealed the real reason why it is a natural movement for humans I'll start my sprinting journey from tomorrow. How many time a week do you recommend it?

    Not just printing, but mid-distance running aides in sprinting too: 800 meters, 1200 meters, 1600 meters, 2000 meters is good.

    I’ve always been told that stretching helps prevent injuries… it allows you to reach further and move more. My figure skating coach, all my P.E teachers, and a P.E module have stressed how important stretching is for physical health and safety

    Totally agree on the sprinting concept and HIIT, but jogging is also conceptually an activity that our ancient ancestors would've been engaged in and still do in Africa and Australia to cover long distances in search of game...and we're all from Africa.

  • @vikx02
    @vikx02 Před 4 měsíci

    Humans did not evolve to sprint. Most mamals can outrun humans. Humans evolved to for endurance long runs. Very few mamals can out-distance-run humans.
    Nevertheless, I agree that sprints are indeed the most wonderful and efficient way to stay fit and develop those abs.

    I don’t agree with your claim that sprinting was for hunting. Humans have the ability to sweat and they were able to jog until the animals had to stop and pant.
