    I like how you include the idiosyncrasies, quirks and minute details of the players so we can find small little trademarks of say how somebody achieves a cut in from the wings rather than just saying "he likes to cut in".

    I think he'll take the Odegaard role forming a great partnership with Saka on the right and we'll switch Odegaard to the Xhaka role, especially for his defensive awareness

      That’s a good call I never thought of that. But that axis between Odgaard and Saka was something else.
      I’m so curious to see how we accommodate him and hopefully in turn be even more a threat offensively without conceding as many.

      @@jaymookie1 I thought of that too but truth is I think we could've gotten more end product (goals) from that Saka - Odegaard partnership than we did. Who knows, with Kai we may get more. He shoots more than Odegaard. It'll be interesting to see how we lineup next season

      Havertz needs to be surrounded by pace. He’s being hampered by his team mates IMO there’s no runners stretching the game for him and no one to play in. He needs to be a Firmino like figure with knobs on.

      @Luge Beatzz the problem is chelsea fans want him out because he's being played as a sole 9 and isn't succeeding, if he heads to a club in la liga for example he'd greatly succeed. No manager has used havertz correctly until now besides leverkusen's, tuchel got close

Havertz is a dangerous player when he is confident, he can do things players can dream of, I guarantee you he'll win some best player before he retires, He thrives when he has top talent with Chemistry, Chelsea will likely sell him but they'll regret, Whenever Chelsea play UCL he is their best attacker...

    I see him fitting well with Vini Jr, Rodrygo and even Mbappe if he went to Real Madrid. To me his movement is what makes him special. Him and Werner were a headache to deal with against Real Madrid, constant movement that creates space for the rest

      @@hamad2620 Oh, I think Arteta will deploy him as more of an attacking midfielder who doesn't bear the defensive responsibilities that xhaka did, I think he banks on the arrival of rice to sure up our rest defense and prevent counter attacks.

      he also adds some well needed aerial threat for us upfront as well as facilitates more fluid final third play which Xhaka wasn't able to do as effectively for us. I can see Havertz scoring more than Xhaka did for us last season of used in a similar position.

    His best role at Chelsea is in that inside right role in the 343 for me, don’t think he has the shooting power or killer movement to play 9, can’t see him reaching the heights we all hoped for back in 2020, curious to see him next season

      Was never a 9. False 9 doable but Chelsea have never provided him with the wing forwards needed to pull that off.

    Quite sad this man bas been completely wasted at Chelsea playing a 9 with slow players sorrounding him which has limited his ability massively
    Circumstances have literally made it so Havertz has looked the lesser of mount, when their potential should've been mountains apart

      He is a bad player. Sooner you realize the better. You can't make an unskilled player skillful. Maybe he can run and disturb defences that's his only utility. He can't pass, dribble, control or shoot.

      @@GoonerOlu I admire Odegaard's desire on the defensive side, but I wonder if he is passing physicals to that role...Xhaka was slow but strong, also very competitive. It is important especially for Stoke/Burnley-esque teams, they were able to bully weaker sides in the past...and if championship is a goal, you are not allowed to drop too many points

      ​@@TheMStef I think this Odegaard/Havertz tactic could be used against a low block or when we are chasing a game. However against the better teams we'll have to play someone more like Xhaka in the no 8 who has the defensive/strength abilities

He's someone crucial in UCL contending teams and straight up won it in his first season at Chelsea and his first goal came in the final which also decided the match XD. But Chelsea need to build around Havertz the way they did with Hazard to optimize his ability to the max.

    Great analysis! How do you know that Havertz prefers one side and it’s not maybe tactical tasks given by the coach?

      It could be tactical instructions but you have to look closer at when he is played as a 10 and look at where he roams to and where he looks most comfortable. He is a dangerous crosser from left side but in general his best work comes down the right for now

      For a left footed player he has a decent right foot but it was difficult to find much weaknesses in his game and therefore I highlighted it as a potential area to improve relative to other strengths!

      Pythagoras in Boots agreed. I hope that he is developing his athleticism to the level of Özil. I don’t know his stats but I feel that he is not as involved as Özil who used to run so much to receive the ball

      I think Ozil has more stamina but Havertz is more stronger and pacier. He’s overall more athletic than an Ozil IMO.

      @@PythagorasinBoots Oh, there can only be "one Love". ;-) So I'm a BVB supporter, but of course very Interested in Premier League and its Legends just as a general Fan. Since I´m German and BVB supporter there's somewhat of a a logical connection to Klopp and his Football which is very interesting to see develop in the Premier League. Actually pretty incredible. So I somewhat sympathize with the" Pool". I came here for the Haaland Analysis originally. Its spot on , He needs to develop in the technical department the most, I think. But , my god, his mentality drives the whole Westfalenstadion just nuts, Even though he might look clumsy at times his scoring can be amazing. He surely has a goosebump factor and I would rate him rather highly. Probably didn't have such a striker since Lewandowski and he ´s already "stronger" than Lewandowski was, when he came here. Somewhat even resembles Zlatan/Ronaldo in the mentality department, Pretty sure you'll have him in Top Premier League Team within the next few Years if nothing bad happens to him.       Marcel Hiltrop Favre is definitely a manager I was initially planning to do a video on but time always seems to get the better of me. Haaland reminds me of a young Christian Vieri and truth be told I think I underestimated how quickly he would progress - but his choice of club surprised me and proved that this is a kid who knows his weaknesses and how best to eradicate them - a sign of a natural born winner.

    Im sorry but this is an L for you sir, Kai Havertz has been quite average for Chelsea and I don't think the ckub is at fault, he's been played in positions he finds comfortable and hasn't produced. I was never quite convinced of his talent and sadly I've been proven right, hope we sell in summer

      He won you a Champions League - you then started to get major injuries to full backs, stupidly signed Lukaku, Sterling and Auba - surrounding him with shit and he began to suffer. You’ve not got the best out of him.

Alexsomer or what wqs he called, this has proven not to be true, his passiy, dribbling,ball striking, ball retention are traits you associate with ballon d'Or level talents and he doesn't have those. Not trying to troll you, love your work,but Havertz is quite average, his goal was a 1 v1 with a gk notorious for rushing out and making 1v1 chances easier.

      @@PythagorasinBoots yeah he scored an easy goal in the final (barely). Everyone is "shit", but not him - you can say that for any flop in the world. in reality, no other player in Chelsea was given so much freedom and chances to prove himself.

      I see him becoming the teams central heartbeat, sort of an insight right like De Bruyne, potentially no.10 and also featuring at false 9 if injuries to strikers or if Werner starts on the left. I don't think we will see him used as a winger.

      @@PythagorasinBoots I'm hoping to see a fair bit of switching position with Ziyech during matches. I think it will be interesting to have a winger who can play cam and a cam who can play winger, and who both like to drift around, playing right next to one another.

      mrpipps90 definitely agree with that - that overlapping and interchange will be a feature of Chelsea player with James holding permanent width and imagine same on other flank with Pulisic and Werner.

      Pythagoras in Boots Lampard has been using Kante behind Mount and Barkley which has been solid except for he West Ham loss. I imagine he would replace Barkley but there are still individual and group defensive problems
