It would be interesting to make updates on these player. It's been 2 years since this video, and Saka improved a lot.
Saka has added longer range bangers to his game. He has completed more dribbles than ANYONE else in the game this year. His decision making, positional intelligence, defensive contributions, dribbling still exceptional.
not because a player does it a few times means it apart of their game. he showed up for a part of this season but he’s still a ghost imo, nice poster boy tho
@@kevinedwards278 2/3 is a majority of the season bro, he only became a ghost in the last 8. The recency bias reeks
@@kevinedwards278 Partly the reason for his ghosting is that he becomes fatigued/burnt out. He pretty much played more than any other arsenal player last season, certainly in an attacking position and in fact has done for the last few seasons. There's been an over reliance on him tbh. We need a better back-up/healthy competitor for Saka, so we don't need to rely on him so much and can rotate him and keep him more fresh. Hopefully we can bring someone in this summer...
@@kevinedwards278you don’t watch ball
@@kevinedwards278 lol
You were completely right. And now he has taken his game to the next level thanks to Arteta.
Saka is such a unique player. He’s got that wiry frame keeps his body close to ground and very elusive in terms of dribbling. He’s so agile it’s hard to know which direction he’s going and he can pull out a trick in his locker. I think he’s at a different level now playing on the right which I had no idea he could do. You can just see from his decision making always got his head up and executes brilliantly. Great in combination aswell he has that wide playmaker Arsene Wenger ball dna installed in him.
Shades of Lemar malouda and di Maria about him. He’s growing as a goalscorer aswell from the right pas 10-12 games his numbers have been insane. I think he lacks top level speed or ball striking ability right now to be classed as elite. I still think Callum Hudson Odoi is a bigger talent but has been very unfortunate in his situation at chelsea they don’t have a plan for him. Saka has had that gametime and he’s grasped it with both hands credit to him. I love him as a player.
I don't think Odoi is a bigger talent. Odoi is a bit bigger and more explosive, a better one v one player than Saka, but I believe Saka has superior football intelligence. Saka is also a better all around technician. I really see the Di Maria and Iniesta vibes with him. He is not a refined as those guys, but he is still so young. He has attributes of an elite playmaker in the future.
@@nostalgicbliss5547 intelligence? Cho vision and playmaking is up there with the best itw already he has angles. It’s never highlighted because there’s a msssive misconception of him as a player he’s seen as a dribble heavy head down player which is far from the case. Plus the position he plays now is absolutely disgraceful from Tuchel in my opinion.
Afraid I will have to side with @nostalgicb bliss although there is some truth to your words. I am a fan of CHO, it has really frustrated me how his progress has bottlenecked but he is definitely not just a pace merchant and potentially quite a complete orthdodox winger. He's not a hit and hope crosser but does indeed pick a man.
Having said that, Saka much more intelligent and playmaking at a higher level for me. His 1 v 1 play not as strong as CHO and not as athletic but he has more guile. Pound for Pound - who will reach a higher peak respective to their own position, I back Saka to be more likelier to hit his own potential.
@@PythagorasinBoots let’s agree to disagree. If you look at playmaking metrics like passes into the penalty area, xA, key passes, crosses into the box, shot creating actions per 90 CHO actually ranks alongside likes of Grealish and KDB in those metrics who are the best creators in the league. I hope Callum can get that bayern move in the summer he’d be far more valued and get to play in his best position which is Lw but he’s been mismanaged by 3 managers at chelsea and their board unfortunately their priority is big money signings as always otherwise they’d never had signed a Werner or Ziyech.
But I get your point right now I back saka aswell to hit bigger heights I think he’s terrific
@@mashwork6615 well I agree with all you’ve said. I love CHO and think he’s been mismanaged too.
needs an update
Saka just keeps on surprising me. I didn't expect his speed and ball carrying ability to improve to this level
Bukayo's football IQ is pythagoras!
It sure is!
Need to update this video now that you have more data
Can you do an updated one where you rank him in your tiers?
He's developed even further since this video.
Yes will do.
@@PythagorasinBoots looking forward to this :D
@@tommy.hme too 😭
Generational talent, update needed.
I'm really excited to see what saka can do in the future
Same, boundless potential.
Could you do an updated one? He's developed significantly since
We need a updated video on saka ❤🙏
He doesn't need to play for Guardiola or Barca when he has Arteta and the supreme Arsenal DNA!
Nice joke🤣🤣🤣
A player this talented, unless the Arteta project is super successful, he'll have to find pastures new but I wouldn't put it past Arteta to be able to do that. Seems pretty astute.
@@PythagorasinBoots i genuinely believe if saka plays for Barca he can potentially compete with haaland and mbappe for best player in the world.their system and midfield will benefit him alot.Lets see how he evolves in his future
@@willyc.8141 ?
@@willyc.8141 Do you still feel the same?
Please make an update to this video! 🙏🏿
This video is screaming for an update!
We need a new vid on Saka forsure
Definitely
Where would you rank Saka’s potential now? When this came out the player rankings and potential wasn’t a thing. I personally think Saka’s future lies in the right side of midfield due to his strength, quick feet and decision making, maybe with an Olise, with them switching position all throughout the game.
Now that you mention it, he is more like and advance midfielder rather than an Iwobi type
Iwobi a different player for me, much more of an athlete and nowhere near the same level of football IQ which would allow him to operate more centrally.
You where very right bro ❤❤❤❤
WE NEED AN UPDATEEE
very good congratulations to you
Thank you!
Any chance of an England team analysis series broken down into 7 videos Keeper/CBs/Fullback/DMs/CMs/AMs/Strikers? Summarising the Pros/Cons of each player in contention. Finally an 8th video telling us the 23 man squad you’d pick, starting lineup vs Croatia, Scotland and a hypothetical lineup you’d pick vs France in a final.
Well I can certainly promise you a massive video on England incorporating all you have asked for, but not sure if I will do it as a 8 part series!
@@PythagorasinBoots lol fair enough! Perhaps just three sections to the analysis: DM, CM and AM. I’d appreciate a Jadon Sancho analysis too! :)
Brilliant player
Could you do one on Ansu Fati
Saka is elite. he reminds me of Alex Iwobi but with a tad more end product
Nah. Saka is more direct and incisive with his play.
He's just a much superior footballer full stop. Iwobi had a lot of athleticism and good footwork but does not know how to apply it at an elite level.
Saka is more productive in the final third iwobi was talented but he would always mess up when he needed to pass or shoot
can you bring an update on this tactical analysis?
Dude should predict my credit score with how accurate he is
Well his long range banger has improve immensely
Could you do a tactical analysis on Florian Neuhaus?
Sure - I'll have a look into it!
pls make updated version
Since there is no rating in your older videos. Where would saka fall in terms of max potentia? Intergen i am guessing?
Gotta do an update
maybe we need a new video now!!!
And i like Eintracht Frankfurt a lot although im a Bayern fan. What do you think of them and RB Leipzig?
I think Leipzig are slightly overhyped. I do not rate them anywhere nearly as highly as Klopp's Dortmund. They can give any opponent a decent game on their day but they can also be super naive defensively. Frankfurt are beautiful to watch, very good on the counter attack.
Imagine this was 2years ago. I hope all those haters that have been talking nonsense about him, How He's only having one good season without realising that he's been doing it for more than 3 years. 🤷🏿😏
‘Playing for a Barcelona team’ What year is it? - 2010? 😉 Love your videos x
He always can go to barca in the future. Almost everyone wants to play 1 time in a career for such club
@@Eric-hu2dwI don’t think there is the same motivation there for English players that grow up watching the prem
Can see him in a top team. Maybe one second in league who led it for most of it and getting a hatrick for his country 😂. Still levels to go.
can we get an updated version
Possibly but there’s other players I want to analyse at the moment in preparation for this summer window.
@@PythagorasinBoots not a problem, anything arsenal and we at happy 🤣
@@ToxicWarlord odegaard would be nice
Rightt
What do you think about Kang-in Lee?
Someone I am still planning to do a video on... he reminds me of a young Mata/Silva/Quintero. Bit lightweight and prone to losing possession but he's only 20, so once he gets that 'man' strength, he'll be a prospect.
@@PythagorasinBoots where the video at?
@@PythagorasinBoots You gotta!
never say never
Right now he's England number 1 and arsenal number 1 also.
Langer Distance Banga is Saka Weopon now u where wrong about that
Saka or Rashford? Honest opinion
For me Saka - better football IQ, but Rashford’s more dangerous against higher level opponents. Not easy comparison.
That was a two years ago guess. Revisit your analysis
He isn’t a wonder kid?
I was going to leave a like for a great analysis but then you threw in a quote about playing for Barca or Pep. 😡
Sorry bud!
I disagree with that last comment unless the board doesn't strengthen the team. Then he'll leave like the other players before him when we didn't strengthen the team intelligently.
Slightly confused by this comment. Do you think he will leave sooner rather than later or do you think he will stay and become the heartbeat of the Arsenal rejuvenation project?
@@PythagorasinBoots I mean we need to intelligently strengthen and have a plan that shows we're moving forward, so that he'll stay. Cz if he doesn't he'll leave like Thierry, Sagna, Nasri, RVP
@@biolf1 that makes much more sense - sorry my bad. Yeah completely agree with that. I think as he’s young, Arteta has a decent timeframe to convince him to stay and be part of the project and the Spaniard seems to be doing a decent job in terms of signing players. Next season is a big test of this project.
@@PythagorasinBoots Funny thing is we as fans need to temper our expectations on Marquee signings. We honestly need solid players. They don't really need to be marque. Just really good players that can come into the team.
@@biolf1 that’s the key. Even Ole at United did something similar and the squad is better for it. You need players with the right mentality and physicality to build that team up to want to compete week in week out. Build the foundations before you add icing to the cake.
foden or saka
Foden is on another level
I would have to agree with this based on what we have seen thus far.
this video is aging finely .
Foden, Greenwood, Mount >>>
Hmm I rate all those guys highly so do not really want to shit on any of them but Saka could easily be as good as any on that list - depends on things like injury, mental strength etc.
Mount is over 3 years older. How can you even compare the two lol
Hahaha didn't age well
How so..
Your comment is the one that didn't age well
You now need a new theory man,, You know,, 🫢
