- Our son has finally completed the puzzle with help from his older brother! Almost 300 pieces completed and it only took him about 40 days. His mother and I are very happy for him, but I know this will not be the last time we have these problems. Please take time to read the blog post on my website where I go in depth with the play by play.

Glen that goes to show how great parents you and your wife are. You have taught your children to love each other and to be kind and sensitive to each other. So all that you have instilled in them is coming to fruition. Victory belongs to your family.
Victory Belongs To The Most High God , in the spirit of the messiah, in their family . We have to be careful not to exalt ourselves over God , GOD is the one ordaining everything, including the spirit and righteousness of both of these parents.

I'm proud of both of the boys..but Theo...Is Such a Sweetheart and a Great Big Brother.
Fam. I am actually jealous of Riah. He has an awesome big bro. Wished mines was at least a little bit as caring as Theo is
@@prestonmatthews725 I know that pain. Sadness, grief, anger, hope, love, envy, regret. But we didn't do anything to deserve the treatment we received. We looked up to them and they let us down. ♡
@@mags_9532 true. Right now I am trying to help him throw a lot of his traumas but at times it’s like pulling teeth and I am not equipped with some of the tools necessary to help him navigate his issues.
Yeah he really does love his lil brother
I love how he asked his kids for consent.
I always think about that when viewing other channels. To communicate the whole way through with the kids builds such deep trust and friendship. What a blessing to watch!🤗
@@aishasimmons1786 Its strange to see because Ive never experienced it and I have not ever seen an adult address a kid in this way. Most people treat kids like pets, unfortunately. They only talk to them in "commands". And only to eat, sleep, wash up, and schoolwork.
I dont know how I came across this channel but lord knows I needed to see it. I absolutely adore their family dynamic.
I agree
Me too 😊
Trust me. I love their approach to parenting.
Yo, shout out to Theo! He did not like how this puzzle saga with tearing the family apart. So, he stepped up and helped out his little bro! 🤗
Yes. But this is also a codependent trait in children when they see conflict in the house and try to fix it. It's actually not a good habit for kids to get in, it can turn into parentification.
@@productioninquiry8937 Shout out to you for trying to ruin a beautiful family moment. It's pretty pathetic that you're pontificating rather than give them props for overcoming a hard time. This family is still young and they're still learning. So for you to sit there and I'm tired of "therapize" that you don't really know like that after they shared a rough patch with the world, you should be ashamed of yourself.
@@jerrij4242 You must not have children. It doesn't ruin anything to be mindful of your child's behavioral patterns and engage in conversation with them about how they feel when their siblings are encountering difficulties. Our reactions to childhood experiences shape our adult responses. You definitely have some maturing left to do yourself.
@@productioninquiry8937 I agree with what you are saying because I was that kid. I’m 47 years old now and those traits spilled over into my adulthood, my marriage and how I raised my boys. When my youngest would do things like this I had to stop my oldest from trying to save him all the time so that he would not get in trouble or just do what I asked him to do. He pulled all the tricks like Uriah but I wouldn’t give in and I wouldn’t let my oldest jump in either. To me, the real victory wound had been Uriah actually doing the puzzle by himself, which he was capable of doing. While I love this family, this moment didn’t make me cheer as hard as I would if he had done it alone just like what Theo had done when he was told.
@@MrSkinneC Wow! Thanks for being so open about this. I am the sister of a problem child. I couldn't save my brother, his issues were too big, so I called myself "saving my parents" by being perfect and invisible. I also recognized Theo's behavior right away. In the earlier video Dad said Theo started doing the puzzle again after Uriah ran away. That incident was likely a lot for Theo to witness so he decided at that point to step in and start saving/fixing.
Lol Yvettes reaction is a great example of how disciplining children isn't always easy on parents
Theo is a peacemaker ...... He is the one that will do anything to keep the peace in the house... Gotta love that kid
So proud of riah for realizing his part and fixing it . You guys are raising great men
I just said the same.
It’s the pure black boy joy and the elation of the family that Uriah FINALLY defeated the puzzle
People love teaching black kids, black boys in particular, that it's OK to quit. I loved this series because you taught your son that finishing what he starts is very important. Good on you!
@High Maintenance Minimalist I don't know who you're talking about that loves teaching kids of any race that it's OK to quit?? I love Glen and Yvette's parenting, and I'm thankful that they share their beautiful family with all of us! But why say something so negatively untrue about others? 🤔
@@mgpw4tn487 to get attention.
@@BBBB-nd8pl I guess you're right. Maybe I should delete my reply. The Oxymoron that is his name should have been my first clue.😉
Theo to the rescue again. Remember how he made Anaya smile when she felt she was being quieted. I will always think about how he made his sister smile Theo is the absolute best big brother! Luv me some Theo.
What video was that?

The way Glen used this story to advertise his own puzzle is pure ✨ART✨ like howwwww you capture the audience like that
Just tryna make y’all proud
@@BeleafInFatherhood we are so so proud of you!!!!! 🙂
For real frame that puzzle. All that hard work, sweat and tears.
That big smile and hug when the puzzle was almost done was EVERYTHING! Being a big sister myself, there was plenty of moments where I finished my sisters vegetables and cleaned up our room for both me and my sister so that all could be “right” in the house. Lol Nothing like sibling love. Lol 💖💖
I teared up 🥰
I agree I was the oldest kid in our family and there was one brother I always stuck up and did things for him . He was such a great kid and now as an adult and I didn’t want him to get spanked. I took many spankings for him also. He is a good man and we r close
What a lovely thing. You are an awesome sister ❤️
@@mags_9532 aww thanks! Haha Me and my sister are BFFs so I had to look out for my girl! 😂
I'm laughing and crying at the same time. I've tried shielding her. Doing all up to our twenties. But did I do enough?
To see Uriah’s smile when he finished the puzzle made my day, it was really important for him to finish the puzzle no matter how much he didn’t want to and I really think this taught him a lesson that he will carry with him forever. And we can’t forget Theo who loves doing puzzles so much that he can’t help himself for helping Uriah it is so sweet 🥰
😆 warms my heart seeing how proud Riah is. This is a humbling reminder that lessons aren’t always learned in a convenient hour or two timeframe. This was a lesson in patience, resilience, discipline, and brotherhood. This made my pregnant, emotional self emotional.
😂
"Real" parenting 👏
Glen and Evette be proud you taught Theo that “he is his brother’s keeper”! Uriah, just moves to the beat of his own drummer and likes to accomplish his tasks within his own timeframe.😉 Rebel w/a cause!🤣 The children receive the messages they are aligned to receive. Keep prayer 🙏🏽 1st.😇
Okay the picture of them with the finished puzzle makes me so emotional 😭😭 I've never been more proud of two children in my life, including my own family members lol! This was better than any TV show out right now, and that strengthened bond is real life. I lost my brother 10 years ago so seeing sibling relationships like this really makes me emotional. I pray they always stay close and support each other 🙏🏾
The way Uriah hugged on you at the beginning 😭😭😭
The way Glenn asks for permission to film them 😊
Thank you for taking us on this journey. What a riiiiiddddeeee 😅
Absolutely love the idea of printing out and framing the piece.
A gem video with multiple messages: consent from your kids during the digital age, the importance of finishing what you start, and teamwork. My mom always pushed me to try new things and honor what we say we'll do so it's funny to see this whole saga unfold. Loving the chocolate babies!
Theo is such a great big brother!
He is. He's a peacemaker and a love. Bless little Theo. 💗

I was feeling really down today but then I saw this video, now I’m smiling. All I can say is Thank-you for sharing!
Uriah reminds me of both of my suns...who are 17 and 15 now....like you said this will not be the last time but because as parents you approached and dealt with the situation righteously, in the end Theo drew from that energy and gave it to his bro.....much love to the family
Good job Theo.
And for the naysayers...
I hope you heard when Glenn asked the question,"Is it okay that I film you?".
Heyyy sometimes its 40days 40nights ..
Its ok..in the end Theo directed him right back into teamwork saying I'm here for you and we can do it!!!! I'm with mommy Hallelujah 🥰❤ God Bless you all
I completely felt Yvette's "Hallelujah" shout!!😂 What a great lesson the kids learned and maybe even a bigger lesson to us parents out here raising children in this digital 📲 world. Great job Uriah and Theo!! You can see how proud both of the boys are of themselves. Love👏🏾Love👏🏾Love this family!! 🎉🙏🏾🖤
Hallelujah!! He's a soldier. He's independent. He is accomplished!!
Theo’s brotherly kind heart gave me tears. He is an old soul and this exercise nurtured that. What a wonderful feeling as a parent to see a leader so early in your child’s life ❤️
Turning this story into a book would be awesome also!
I pray it’s in the works cause them making a puzzle is so dope
So his big brother Theo saves him again!! ❤️
Great job Glen!!!
It was tough but you really did well 💙
Great job Uriah! It may not be what you always want but there is more to life your parents know about. They love you more than you could ever know.
Parenting is a trip🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love that Uriah's enjoying the sense of pride and accomplishment. Shout out to Theo with the assist

Why do I feel like crying? That smile when he was watching with his siblings is everything! So happy for him! Congratulations on parenting done right! Theo is such a great kid and brother!
I just want to say please let Theo and Uriah know how proud we are of them. I've been a little bit of both over the years, and it's hard to demonstrate being the elder sibling in a compassionate way and it's hard to make your way back when you're comfortable being obstinate. The two boys did a great job
Theo has my heart 💕 special little guy!
Either way puzzle solved or not, two parents love their children enough to actually raise them. Congratulations all!!!! Good job boys!
theo told uriah to look busy while they finished that puzzle, he got tired of uriah not doing it.

Theo being a leader, stepping in and being his brother's keeper. Uriah's pride in himself, his joy at working with Theo and finishing the puzzle. EVERYONE celebrating. As loving parents y'all are doing it right. Love this family. 💯🔥♥️
Wow! This is was absolutely awesome!! Great job Dad!! He will remember this for the rest of his life! And when they all get older they can all laugh about it!
Yay!!!!!!!!!!! He did it, awesome job guys. You’re an amazing father. I love this lesson, I will implement this with my own two children.
More podcasts coming soon?
I’m so proud of them for working together ! I love this channel
I saw the title I am in tears! Thank the boys for allowing us to learn along with them. I personally appreciate it!
Pure joy! I love how this video just shows how life is and the different characters in this family. So glad that Theo literally kept the fath and kept popping those jigsaw pieces to the point where Riah finally became excited enough to pop a few final pieces because the end was in sight. You’re a beautiful, amazing family 🥰🥰
This makes me so happy and proud of all of you. It's so hard as parents to find creative ways to discipline and stick with them. The fact that Riah stuck with it( with the help of dad) and Theo continued to be the best big brother by helping him is a perfect example of GREAT PARENTING.
Congratulations Uriah!! And shout out to his big bro for helping!! Thank you Theo!!
Can I have more parents like you for my students?!! Your words hit home because the lack of accountability I see is disheartening. As adults, we can NOT let our children quit when things get hard. This is a message that all need to see and hear. I see it in the classroom....but the joy, the smile, the belief in themselves, when they accomplish a task is unmeasurable! I thank you! 😊
Thank you for allowing us to witness positive reinforcement of family values within the Black family structure. The possibilities of greatness and happiness will be endless for your children!
I literally said they should frame it . Then Beleaf said we’re framing it. Good job everyone. Definitely a purpose piece.
Uriah is so proud and strong. Which is good. Theo’s compassion is so beautiful
The lesson he learned is a lesson of a lifetime; commitment promotes award💪🏾❤️
He's so excited 😊 so awesome for Theo to help his brother 💙 so cute he says he can't have all the fun lol 😆
I am so proud of Theo and Riah for finishing it, particularly for Riah because he can know he did something he didn't want to do. I can't stop smiling! 🙂
That hug, Uriah gave you, just melted my heart. That big beautiful smile on his face was priceless.
Look at the pride he has .. with his brother his dad and himself.. With you two parents has his guides in life..
This man fought for and defended the culture of his house. He won. Uriah won. Theo seized an opportunity to strengthen relationship with his brother after he ran away...grace. Everybody in the family won. I love allll the extra footage on Patreon. Great job family 💕
"Can I film you guys?" Respect!!!! I love this family so much.
Theo with the brother win!!!! Great parenting man, that boy was so happy! The pure joy was overwhelming for him!!!!!!!
So energized. So healing .

The discipline of the puzzle is signs of love.
The unity , the fortitude the love .

The feeling of accomplishment from completing a difficult task is amazing! I love that Uriah has learned that and will hopefully use it to challenge himself in the future as he grows. And big shout out to Theo for helping his bro when he was struggling! That shows he already has great character and empathy. I love watching the journey of the chocolate babies growing up into lovely humans! ❤️ Great job parents!!
the fact that you asked your kids if you could film them makes me so happy. it shows how you respect their boundaries as people
I find myself having similar traits with all your children, but Uriah especially. For me, this reminded me that sometimes the hardest step is the first step. But once I get a little push or a little assistance where I can see it coming together, what used to be the most difficult, most encumbersome task in the world becomes a walk in the park. So yay Theo for helping Uriah out!!! 🙏👏👏👏
Can we talk about parent joy. I felt ALL of Yvette's relief. Because behind a child feeling the consequences of their actions is a parent who has to enforce them.
I'm so proud of the bond between brothers, the parenting, the completion, the full family celebration! Good Job boys!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Growing up in a traumatic household, you and your family brings me to tears of joy. The standard that is being upheld is divine.
OH MY GOD!!! HE IS SO PROUD OF HIMSELF!!! SO BEAUTIFUL 🔥🦅🗡️🩸❤️🗝️👑

I’m just so glad you ask your children permission to film. Not many do that at all. And display all for the world to see. I like it this way.
The gentleness in asking the kids if it’s ok to film is beautiful.
This is truly awesome in so many ways for Uriah and Theo. One thing that really sticks out for me is the gratification they got from actually finishing something that was maybe somewhat challenging for each of them in different ways. It taught them to finish what you started. And ultimately built confidence.
I L❤️VE you Guys. But JESUS
L❤️VES You the most.

Theo gets the prize for best big brother! What a lesson for both of them. ❤ Uriah just needed a little time and a little push. Yay!!!
I’m so glad about the ending to this particular lesson for your whole family! And in your wisdom, you’re starting the new lesson for the kids and yourselves. I love how you also realized how you could change too- giving grace can be difficult at first but you and Yvette know what you’re doing. Thank you for letting us in!🙏🏻
you asking for their consent to film just shows you are really listening to their wants and needs as children on this platform and i applaud you on that. so many youtube families just film embarrassing moments but you make sure it’s something they are ok with first. Great job Glen! 🎉
Such JOY!!!! Huzzah Uriah I can see the pride you have within you. Hold fast.

As a teacher watching this saga I saw so many times when this could have been resolved. But you went about it in your own way. I saute you. Good luck with this child when he gets older. No shade.
