I'm glad you touched base on the 1 hole jig... I never really saw a point to that one until you touched on it. I'd probably still off set my 2 hole and struggle through that way but I could see if using a bunch of 2x2 for projects where that would come in massively handy. Great review.

Funny timing on the power tip. My store of choice has been out of the drill bit for a couple months, until last Monday. I have held off on ordering it online, didn't need it immediately but wanted an extra. Now I have 2 bits and 2 driver bits. Also bought the one hole to carry in my "to-go toolbox" for when I deliver my completed pieces.

Honestly, IMO, the magnet on the one and two hole jig is a great idea, and where Kreg should have went to upgrade the R3, which I have. I’m not a fan of the newest Kreg jigs.

I've got great ideas for projects and most of the time i just go for it, with just the design in my mind. Could you make a video about how you make a design? not on sketchup please! Just drawing it out with pen and paper. i enjoy woodworking because it gets me away from a screen. Where do you start with a design? top, bottom, inside out? how do i make it to scale? is there special graph paper for this kind of thing? is blank printer paper best?
    Thanks!

I wish I'd watched this before getting the Kreg 720. It works fine but I think the newer ones are lower quality than the k4 and k5. Would have gotten the Massca probably. I would caveat by saying if you don't have anything for pocket holes just save up for the benchtop jig. By the time you get the jig and the clamps you could save 25-40 more and get the M1 or M2.

From a fellow Arkansan; while I am not a pocket hole fan thanks to owning the Porter Cable 550 pocket cutter, I enjoy your videos and find them informative and entertaining. The pocket hole jig in the pocket comment was funny but left me wondering what would happen to the jig walking around Walmart if your pockets already had holes😁. That said, the clip starting around 3:38 was fairly cringe worthy. Stay safe. 👊 Steve

Love your work. On the massca pocket jig, I think your on the wrong side. If you look you can move the stop and turn it around for a inside hole. There is a slit difference on dimensions. Just follow the 🏹 arrow. Probably doesn't make much difference. Really like watching.
