Awesome video!! Can the Milwaukee be adjusted so that the shoe allows it to fit exactly to have zero clearance on the strip already cut by another saw so that both Festool and Milwaukee can be used on the same rail and BOTH saws will have true zero clearance without having to change the strip?

I got two routers, i dabbled some with just trying things few weeks ago finally had reason to use when replacing a board on an outdoor bench. I had to use a round over bit i just ran it as slow as it would go leary of causing issues. I used my matabo HPT in the fixed base for that That one has both bases seems like a nice kit like new I found at garage sale thinking i got for like $50-60. Have a craftsman commercial model too i picked up for like $10 then found a router table later it should fit. Almost got rid of the craftsman but it fit the table so I kept it.

What clamp do you recommend to use with the Jessem jig?

I had a local blacksmith make me some hold fasts for my dog holed bench top. I also love having a vise on the end that has a little pop-up metal piece that's in line with dog holes on my table, so i can put a bench dog in a hole and use my end vise to clamp it in place. I've never used a t-track table, but I've always felt that it's easy to add more dog holes to a bench if needed, but t-track is harder to add more of.

I would LOVE an alternative to Titebond 3 for cutting boards and outdoor projects. The formulation is way too thin for my tolerances and I have had more issues with glue ups using TB3 than TB2 or other alternatives.

I own most of the Ryobi 18 volt tools. Best money i have ever spent. Incredibly reliable

I've had my 10" table saw for 7 years and can't imagine doing my kind of woodwork without it. That said, it's a HUGE PITA for trying to rip 4x8 sheets alone in the shop... and dangerous. Recently, we decided to install solid hardwood floor in a number of carpeted rooms and halls and quickly discovered that the rooms and halls are laughably not square. Normally, baseboard covers this issue but we had to come up against two banisters over a length of 10 ft. and for it too look good the hardwood had to abut the banister base perfectly in the long direction. Much head scratching trying to figure out how the h377 to do that and realized I now, finally, had a perfect excuse to buy a track saw! Why? Because it would let me accurately make a long angled rip cut in 3/4" hardwood that was 1/4" over 10 feet. The end result looks perfect and now I rip 4x8 sheets with ease all alone! BTW, I bought the Makita because I didn't want to take out a 2nd mortgage to buy the Fe$$tool. This again goes to show how important use-case is in making buying decisions and what works for one may not for another.

I always fought with the push style clamps. Always lifted the material slightly off the surface.

I have 7 of the Ryobi tools. They are 5 to 12 year ld by now, and they all work like day 1. I love Ryobi.

Why compromise? Fabricate a table that can accommodate both! Or a 50/50 type table! Half of the table T-track and the other half dawg holes! In our tooling shop back in the day! We had 1/4-20 threaded holes every 2”! Obviously we are talking metal fab vs wood assembly!

Those statements incredibly show how a coward would lie to the Grand Jury & no one charge him when purgery? He is a career criminal & the new situation with Richburg only further proves the system is flawed & if it wasn't for the RING camera he would probably get away with murder again. Please keep monsters (cowards) like this of the street so this doesn't happen to any more families! In BATMAN we trust God bless us ALL!

as a beginner wood worker i have found the HF small parts cases a do very well . i know a lot of people dont like HF tools BUT i dont have problems unless i use some ( electrical mostly) every day or all day long ! i have broke a couple of the quick clamps but the bar clamps and f style seem ok! POWER strips get the 4ft 12 outlet if you have room some of mine are several years old and going fine, they also have a set that have magnets to hold them on more expensive but nice, i also like their 1250lum rechargeable work light with power bank , it just has a kick stand but also a 1/4-20 tread hole that you could put on a tripod my work table is an adjustable writhing table right now will have to make something more solid once i get the shop finished out and figure out places for stuff, it works good as an outfeed table or drop it down to put a project on down low !mine is electric so moves from one height to another quickly. Great tips will need to pick up some for my shop(when its finished)!!!!!!! love the rubber mat on the table i keep a rubber entry mat to put down when i work on the floor saves the knees!!!! AS ALWAYS GREAT TIPS AND VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My official thought on the Ryobi line of tools is: I don't care. I'm purely a DIY at-home occasional tool user. I decided to go with the Milwaukee M18 line (the most expensive) for 1 big reason: They (Home Depot and Milwaukee) had a big sale for the 1/2" Hammer Drill / 1/4" impact driver combo kit (with 2x 5Ah batteries) plus an additional 8Ah battery for around $300. Both drills rate highly along many metrics, but MOSTLY I know I needed to get new outdoor equipment in a string trimmer and a leaf blower. And that single 8Ah battery meant I could buy the tools only and have a battery ready. SO - even tho I could have bought into the Ryobi line and have gotten all the same tools a bit less money, I opted for the brand that I felt will last me a lifetime.

and always practice on a dozen pocket holes first before you drill your real product
