There are other theories that Leanor might go become a faceless man (doubtful as this contradicts his nature, which is that of an absolute swashbuckler and lad’s lad), but it could enable him to return in disguise publicly yet reveal his identity to his parents in private so that Rhaenys is okay with it

I agree with this. Laenor returns as a Faceless Man, pretends to be a bastard of Laenor or Corlys. But to be so, he must have endured the training as a nobody like Arya in the House of Black and White at Braavos.

@@virginiamarfa6946 enough time would have hypothetically passed for him to become a full-fledged facelsss man; I personally am not sure how much this would add to the show. He didn’t get that much screen time nor a positive enough characterization in season one to have bringing him back be some big emotional thing other than for Corlys and Rhaenys. I think it’s just as possible that Corlys having bastards right there on dragonstone, especially considering that he spent so much time absent from his own marriage bed, is rich enough source material to make the dragon seed arc in season two plenty of an emotionally rich vein to mine for conflict.

Rhaeny is my favorite character. Women will understand....I lihe daemon, I lihe the way daenerys became, but Rhaeny was consistent, always listening, always in the backround, nobody asking for her opinion, but she was at every crucial moment, even the little ones. The title was stolen from her, and calmly and thoughtfully she waited and respected it. They tried to take away her land, minimizing her role as a woman, but Visery was right to give her the word. She was impressed when the greens wanted to usurp the throne and, showing no favoritism, tried to kill her... when she saw that Rhaenyry was the only one fighting for peace, something she did all her life when everyone asked her otherwise, that's when She took her position. But as a woman she had to take it through her man, but then even Rhaenyry saw that it was her... and in the books she dies for the cause... all I wanted was for Rhaenyry to secretly confess to her that her son was alive... .I hope she did, and that made her side with her...mothers heart...
