- This is the first part of fixing all of the problems that the GLK had. It's definitely more difficult than I thought it would be.

This comment made me so happy man! Thanks for the support
Keep up the good work!
If you live in a place where they salt the roads quite a bit, an induction heater with a few different heads is one of the best investments you can make. You pay 1500-2000usd for a good one, but then you never ever have to spend time to get a rusty bolt off.
I found the "Hot Rod" heater works great and is affordable. I can get 1/2" fasteners cherry hot in seconds. Comes with extra heads too
That is great advice! I didn't even know those existed. I will definitely look into it!
Love your channel Dylan! Watched all your videos including this one twice. Subbed!
Thank you so so much for this comment and subbing! This means a lot to me :)
Wow, love the content! The dedication was insane! Every time you got stuck, you came up with a new fix. Putting it all back together should make for another banger video - can’t wait!
Thank you for your constant support! Hopefully, putting it together will be slightly easier. In a week and a half, Part 2 will be coming out :)
Well done ! Very thorough and an informative clip!
Thank you so much for the support!
Hey, great video. I can’t believe you have been able to get what you got done.
Thanks so much for the support! It was definitely a lot of work, but it was definitely worth it! 👌
you need more recognition bro i see the work you are putting in
Thanks so much for this! Comments like these want me to keep going.
He actually used gloves good to see.
🧤 they definitely kept ripping LOL
When working on cars that have seen road salt, a blowtorch is your best friend.
Yes! Will invest in one soon ahah!
I am a professional mechanic and I'd never do all that work on jackstands. This would would be done in like 1/4 of the time with a lift. But you gotta use what you've got.
It's definitely something I am working towards. Hopefully, in the future, I will get a taller garage to fit a lift in :)
Premium cars with Premium prices , but you did save a lot of money ! Sometimes i wonder why the put some parts in the must idiot places, and yes then will it upgrade the prices amazing because of labor.....But fix it and wait for the rebuilding video ! Greets from The Netherlands !
German engineering was always overly complicated, but it definitely is cool when it's all new and works well! Thanks for the support from the Netherlands! Part 2 is coming in a week and half!
Use anti-seize on the back of the brake rotors where the mounting surface is. It will make the next removal easier.
Thanks for the tip! I definitely will. These rotors were on since 2009, so hopefully, the next owner will not struggle with this anymore.
also i think cleaning under the car and the engine bay would make it a less painful process
That is so true! I will definitely do that for the future projects!
It took me 3 days to do engine mounts on my 2011 E350 4matic. It was easily the worst job ever.
It was definitely an annoying job, especially for a person with not a lot of experience 🤣
@@WhiteAuto Yeah, so many things you can't even imagine went wrong. But you now know this first hand!
a better mic would make this better
Working on getting some better quality ones :)!
Just becareful using wood under Jack stands...if that's fractures the entire car might fall on you. I always put the wheels u see the car as a precaution.
I was definitely thinking the same. I am on the hunt for some bigger jack stands, so I don't use wood. Thanks for the advice!
was the car a salvage or clean title?
Clean title 👌 😎
