    Learned this method 2 years ago and it works really well. I like the gold sharpie, makes me feel fancy.

      I've actually switched to the Blue and it's lasting really good and I can see it easy too. Gold is out of my league!!! Ha ha

      I can't lie, lately I've been thinking about trying out a Plotter....Just wondering if it can add to my efficiency or hurt it????

      @@FadeToBlackLLC it’s helpful but into you get your plotter dialed in. It’s sometimes a headache. I have a plotter but I only use it for commercial work or a car that I don’t want to fool with

    Idc what anyone says, your peel board is awesome. Not sure if you got credit for when I got my easel but I definitely wanna say thx. My temper glass is 34"×36" and it hold it with no problem. Only thing I added was hose clamps on the metal rod behind so my glass wouldn't fall from the weight. Thanks man appreciate the help.
    Also I use the sharpie method on semi trucks, as I'm 5'7" using the sharpie and take to my peel board.

      I'm glad things are working out for you. Yes it have some vice grips on the metal rod as well. I don't trust that pressure bolt too hold up a sheet of glass.

      @@FadeToBlackLLC hey one more thing I watched your heat gun video. I use the Wagner $24.99 gun but went on ebay and got the kobolt gun.
      Fyi there is 1 or 2 more for sale. Go get you another. They come with all the accessories too..lol

    This is my go to. When I first started 5 years ago I seen Ralph do it and it helped me so much and i tried to cut and shift but I can’t do it

      Yep the cut and shift thing was always a pain trying to reposition the film. Now just mark it and know right where you need to cut. I'm with you, I use it all the time now.

      @@FadeToBlackLLC I messed up some the other day trying again to cut and shift. Some how it moved away from the seal and cut into where I needed. I’m sticking with my sharpie

      I also use the Sharpie to guide cuts on the outside buttons or anything you need to cut around. I use Flexfilms Pre Tac and Tint Tac. Love the Stuff.

    What’s the ratio for the solution? 70 percent water/20 percent soap and 10 percent alcohol?

      I don't use Alcohol, the Pink cleaning product has some in it I'm thinking.

      You can peel off of the car but be careful not to put the blade on the glass. I've been actually using scissors to cut out the pattern after I Sharpie it when I don't have a peel board around.

      Where are you located? I plan to start doing some Starter Window Tint training. I have a guy coming from Michigan to train for two days. He just wants to get his skills up and learn so he can start Tinting in his area.

    So I just finished day 2 of window tinting school
    Today we did back windows. It was a bitch! Haha
    I forgot to bring this us to the instructors but as a newbie I do worry about cutting customers window seals.
    You recommend I do this? I’m a full time rver.. can I create a peel board lit of plexiglass instead so I don’t have to worry about it shattering?

      Just do as I mentioned in the video and you won't have any issues. I never cut on the vehicle. Get Plexiglass or whatever you can use to cut on not on the vehicle 👍🏾

    Bro what length do u suggest i get for a side business? 24inches is too small come to find out for alot of back windows. So do u have a separate roll u carry just for back windows? Or should i just slice the tint together even though that looks unprofessional.

    How would you suggest making the front mark if I cant get the sharpie in there due to the side mirror being in the way ? Without having to take the mirror off

      Most cars you can get in there. You can always make the lower line over to the mirror then roll down the window and cut the top edge and then make the mirror line as best you can. Harder to explain than doing it.
