A Calming $500 Gaming PC Build đ
âą A Calming $500 Gaming ... - VÄda a technologie
I love the motto "Good enough". It's a very good idea. People get so obsessed with having the best when they don't need it.
if its your passion and you can afford it why not? theres no problem if youre enthusiastic to tech. budget builds are great but it doesnt mean everyone high end builders are just burning money for nothing
@@notpls do you own any rgb pc accessories?
@@notpls Yeah but some people like me are just looking for a new pc, not a burned wallet
@@galacthicc693 and these type of videos are for them. high end pc should not be brought up here and shouldnt be hated. like the more enthusiastic people are bad guys in the budget build pc videos comment sections. i love watching budget builds even tho i have pretty high end pc and its like i aint welcome just reading a comment the gentleman wrote.
Good enough is extremely subjective and 'good enough' will become 'not good enough' in way less time than 'more than I need in present time' machine. Also he didnt test any AAA demanding title except Cyberpunk and not surprisingly it handled everything well except Cyberpunk. Playing it on high and hitting only 47FPS isnt really good enough, because difference between max and high settings is drastic. Basically high settings isnt very demanding at all and running it on 47fps assumes that it cant really handle AAA demanding gaming even now and how bad is it gonna be in next 2-3 years? 'good enough' setups are always pretty questionable. And its not even guaranteed that you will get everything for the same price as in the video (most of the times u will end up paying higher price overal)
And its not only a PC itself. Monitor, speakers, mouse, keyboard, headset is required which adds another 3-4 hundreds of dollars (in case if you go for pretty budget choice) and at that point you are better off getting a laptop with 2070 or 3060.
I got my i7-11800H and RTX 3060, 16GB 3200Mhz ram and 1TB nVME ssd (basically significantly more powerful machine than the one in the video) laptop for $700 and there tons of deals. my particular laptop runs Cyberpunk with every setting maxed out at around 70-75FPS (utilizing DLSS) average and on High settings (same preset this PC got 47fps at) it gets 90-95FPS average and im talking about $700 laptop with its own keyboard, mouse, speakers and 144Hz 17.3 inch display. And it will surely last 3-4 years easily in AAA demanding games at very high-maxed presets and after that at moderate settings.
So research or watch other stuff before concluding such a ignorant statement form casual perspective.
Finally found someone who is not shouting or using too much video editing skill. Just calm and cool. Loved it
Bro even has candles. Immaculate vibes
@@Ju-Peter667 fr, I can smell those trough screen
It honestly sucks that the majority of videos have the creator doing the soy face with vibrant primary colours all over a green screen background and then when you do click on them they start shouting and using generic YT shorts sound effects. Honestly, I wish more people created content like this guy.
when i was a kid in the early 2000s i had to learn all this shit on my own via forums where people were hostile to noobs. this is such a cool generation that is very easy going and open to teaching to anyone who wants to learn. plus things like youtube make it easier than ever to make the dive into the world of PC building. Great stuff to see!
Yep. And people still think that building PCs is a super impossible task. A lot of people don't realize that modern PC building is dramatically simplified compared to 2-3 decades ago. We have USB and plug and play. Back then it was more like plug and pray and having to move jumpers around and actually understanding what you were doing.
â@@JJFlores197 this tbh, surprises me how many people to this day prefer consoles even though they'd be fine using a PC sinply due to what they think the cost'll be and the building process
yoo nice profile picture, man! mr. robot's is like the best show ever!
This is pretty much how I started, in the early 2000s (I was just over 30 though). I managed to break PC's several times, and had to go looking for answers on my work computer or the internet cafe's after work, then go home and try solutions. You're right, it's all at our fingertips nowadays, with so many people out there offering helpful tutorials.
CZcams is great for general info and build tutorials, especially for noobs. I still go to forums when I have a very specific problem because they still seem to be the place where you can get a lot of different proposed solutions to a very specific problem.
ah yes, I remember the old days were some internet sites and forums were 90% insults and 10% advice đ
In a genre oversaturated by rgb led lights, clickbait titles, 100,000$ builds comes this absolute king - lights a scented candle and builds basically the most sensible price/performance PC there is. (a B450/B550 might be a good option for MB). Great one!

@@omq_kxvin6008 yeah rx 6600 should be better, im not sure about bottleneck tho
I got a B450-F 4 years ago and it's now holding 2 x M.2 nvme drives and a 3070Ti on it, going strong, absolutely no issues. I paid 150$ for it back then but if you can get it now, it's a great buy.
newbie here. is a320 a bad option? i always see people recommend b450's but i don't get why
@@kouhaiii3182 as far as I know, a320 supports only the first 2 gens of Ryzen CPUs, while B450 supports the current gen as well + differences in RAM management, voltage/clock settings.
This guy actually has the best PC build guides, his motto of "Good enough" is what people actually need to hear.
Most PC nerds on YT also suck at explaining this stuff in a way that beginners and people who have no idea what they are doing can copy it.
Props to you Oz.
i agree with u
Was literally going to comment the same thing. I have a tendency to lose focus hearing other YTers explain what's going on behind the scenes. OZ made it easier to grasp
the issue is, there is either A or B option
OZTalks is option B, and Linus and the cohort are option A
meanwhile option C, is where the user decides and deosn't look at youtube cringe

Your voice is so calming in contrast to the other videos Iâve watched with fast paced and projecting tones. It really soothes my anxiety because Iâm planning on building my first PC soon

I just discovered your channel and it's rare for tech CZcamsrs that I actually go back in their catalogue to watch other videos than the most recent. But man, I love your attitude, calm voice and the simple and entertaining ways you present your builds and projects.
In a world where everyone is chasing the top of the line parts and super flashy everything, this is super refreshing.
It's been a long time since I've caught one of your videos but you still have some of the best pc build content. So chill and so informative. Thank you for what you've taught me and your content.
