I know some people can get the Quest 2 to work flawlessly on PC, but for me it has been nothing but a struggle and the worst PCVR experience ever. It does nothing but have microstutters and audio crackles during play due to the fact that compressing it into a USB-C cable or doing it wirelessly takes so many resources away from your PC. I can't wait to finally replace my face toaster with a Bigscreen Beyond for a proper PCVR experience.

The link cable experience is lackluster and if the Quest disagrees with your setup it doesn't matter if it's good or not, you will still get a microstutter and audio crackle. The Quest 2 is a good headset but it is a terrible PCVR experience.

honestly i doubt there'll be a new VR every single year... since they seem limited by qualcom making a far better ARM chip than what's currently in a quest 3... and that took a good couple of years.

Funny part is while my only VR headset atm is the first Quest back when I had a PS4 amd a PSVR I actually see that the PSVR headset was extremely comfortable and still wish i can find a face cover that feels the same way

The psvr2 is great but it it is very limited in usage terms than the quest 3 and a inferior in terms of image quality imo as there is visible graininess and less clarity due to the lens shape . Not to say the pcvr2 is bad as it does have a slightly higher fov and oled but the quest 3 is a better vr headset overall due to how flexible it is as a standalone and also with access to pcvr and also just a much higher library of content. I own both and I always prefer the quest 3 especially with pcvr with ACC and flight sim. But the psvr2 is not a bad vr headset just not the best of the vr devices in the market especially when it is priced more than the quest 3. TLDR: Quest 3 better and cheaper

Definitely was a hater on the portal when it was announced, then I got one as a surprise and when I say it changed my life that is an understand statement. I have a year and a half toddler at home and being able to pick up and play while sheâs watching cartoons is the most Iâve been able to play since before the little one was born. Also being able to play in bed after the wife goes to sleep, belated three games off of my back log and it feels good. Best surprise I love you gift ever.

They also had an agreement between them and Microsoft to collaborate on cloud services and related services last generation, then microsoft just quietly reneged on the agreement. If I were Sony, I'd be weary of any partnership or cooperation with Microsoft moving forward too. Microsoft burned them, twice, two generations in a row. No wonder they arent perceptive to the idea anymore.

Ive had my quest 2 since it released i dont regret it for a moment its a solid headset if i want to play stand alone i can if i want pc vr i can (even though the sensor malfunctioned but tape over it is a solid fix)
