Catherine Tate is the bride at the end. She's a British comedy actress. The S2 finale is absolutely heart-breaking. Doesn't matter how many times I watch, it always makes me cry. Favourite line: "This is pest control" 😂

For me, this is a top two finale episode. A lot of people underrate it these days but it's the reason so many people liked Rose. She eventually had to go but this way? Heartbreaking. Plus the Daleks and Cyberman give us the greatest 'what if' of all time, since they're both from Old Who - colloquially known as 'the Bitch Fight of Canary Whatf'.
I love Rose! She really loved the Doctor, more than romantically, I think kinda how we fans love him.
Also, I think it's a little poetic that they had David Tennant's Doctor meet a beloved companion from classic Who, Sarah Jane Smith, who got left and there was never a real goodbye, and now the doctor loses another companion but makes sure he gets to say goodbye. I honestly think Tennant is my favorite Doctor because he's such a Whovian himself. You can see it on his face in the episode with Sarah Jane, he's meeting a character/actress he grew up watching, while BEING the main character of the show. I cannot imagine the excitement he must've felt!!

Catherine Tate was in the later seasons on The Office. On top of her carreer as a camedienne, she can actually quote the entire works of Sheakespear.
After seeing this ending hundreds of times ... it still breaks me up. I can't watch without crying like the first time. Russel T Davies knows how to write a finale!! damn
And that cliffhanger?? What a cliffhanger! It's the perfect amount of ridiculous that you need after such a powerfully emotional ending. :) Thank you for reacting !!!

Nope, that's Catherine Tate. An amazing actress who's mostly known for comedy, but who can do really fabulous dramatic work, too. If you've ever watched the US version of The Office, she played Nellie Bertram. The character was annoying, but she was meant to be, and Catherine did such a great job at playing her.

Oh the pain! 😢 No matter how many times I see it my heart just shatters. The first time was a lot of crying and throwing pillows across the room. Now, I know to keep throwable things out of my reach.

These final two episodes of this season are a double-sided coin for me...
This finale guts me EVERY time. Like I'm NEVER okay for a bit after it...
But I DO like how the same voice actor plays both the Cybermen and Daleks. So... They had ALOT to do in these final two episodes... That makes me laugh just a bit to see them both throwing shade at each other.
Then the intro of the bride is one of my fav parts....

Back in the days of me having a Doctor Who CZcams Channel, I corrected the major mistake in this episode. New Edit - Rose loses her grip, starts flying toward the rift, and - disappears forever into the VOID... The Doctor stands heartbroken at the wall, alone... Returns to his TARDIS, and cries... Roll Credits (which I made silent, in homage to the only other time a companion of the Doctor died, back in the old days...)
Surprisingly, it was not very popular LOL. Lot of views.... but a lot of hate for killing Rose. I stand by it however.
