    My favorite part of this is at the end: when Sally tells the Doctor that one day he will be stuck in 1969, he just raises his eyebrows and nods, like he's thinking, "Sounds like something I'd do".

    Sally Sparrow was going to be the next companion after Martha - but Carey Mulligan was offered bigger roles based off of how fantastic she was in this episode, and we got the return of Donna Noble instead. I wish we could have had her as a companion, but I think everything worked out well.

More than a wonderful episode in itself, perfect for first timer to discover this universe, it keeps you afraid afterward, making you guess "Am I really safe out there ?". • @theadamabrams
      @theadamabrams Před 2 měsíci

      Steven Moffat wrote this episode, and in general he does a lot more timey-wimey stuff than Russell T. Davies. To be fair, S3 had "Harold Saxon" mentioned several times before his origin was explained via time travel in the finale, and S4 has the Ood predicting the Doctor-Donna and he heartbeat and some stuff like that.Still, it's nothing compared to what S5-7 do with time. (Travis is already on S7 on Patreon now, so this isn't spoiling anything for him.)

    Something I found out a few days ago! The term "Easter Egg" came about through The Rocky Horror Picture Show (which I did for years and never knew this!), because it was Easter when they were filming the show. So the cast and crew had an Easter egg hunt, but not all the eggs were found, so some were left when they filmed the final cut. Apparently there are three actual eggs in the final film. Pretty cool, huh? 💙

    Did they technically survive the angels in the end because as you find out in a later season the image of an angel becomes itself an angel so those pictures at the end should technically turn into angels
