I am a few seasons ahead on Patreon but comments like those on this post are PRECISELY why I am slower at uploading to CZcams for all shows. :)
Well put. You are right. There are a ton of spoilery comments. I hope you are enjoying everything.
Everyone spoils the hell out of this the show on this episode. It is a good thing you are so far ahead.
@@jennifermorris6848 I definitely am! Starting series 6 soon!
Can't wait to see your reaction to Martha's season... my favorite, especially the 2nd half (as u know now...)
@@TravisViews Don't tell people where you are up to or else you will be spoiled
Everyone Loves Donna, she's in my opinion the Best Companion as we enter the 'Golden Age' of Doctor Who.
YES!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed. She is far and away the best companion of Nu Who.
Not everyone. She's probably 4th or 5th best in the new Who hierarchy to me. I found her annoying.
I used to think she was annoying, way back until I got to the more emotional episodes, the sad ones, then I realized how great of a parallel she is compared to the Doctor, she's more outspoken, emotional and speaks her mind which in certain episodes provides great moments between Donna and The Doctor, no real other compansion in new Who share those moments, not even Rose.
SPOILER EPISODES BELOW:
Fires of Pompeii
Planet Of The Ood
The Silence in the Library Two Parter.
Turn Right
Just to name a few.@@tedkord1968
I’m glad he’s ahead when he read this
Donna is the best. And it owes everything to her being played by Catherine Tate
Some reactors do need some time to get used to the awesomeness that is Donna, but they always get there, but you, you got there from the first moment. You never let me down, my man.
Everyone thought without Rose it would fall apart. It did not. Donna is amazing. My 2nd favorite companion, after Rose. (Sometimes Donna is my favorite, truth be told!) Catherine Tate is phenomenal.
Let's also appreciate Martha who carried season 3 on her shoulders
@@initiatinreallife I adore Martha! Truly, her walking all over the Earth telling people the legend of The Doctor and saving his life... So freaking moving! She was amazing, and gets more and more amazing with every re-watch.
@@initiatinreallife Hardly, she was a non entity companion. She reminded me of so many of the classic who companions who were just there
I love Donna so much, got a little emotional at the end there. Catherine Tate is a fabulous actor and comedian, it was a big deal when she popped up in DW!
Donna is hands down my favourite character in this show. Her dynamic with 10 is just amazing. Cathrine Tate is a gem.
23:07 - Just noticed this detail: "Order from Mr Saxon , fire at will". FORESHADOWING for the next series ALREADY?!
Donna is quite simply the GOAT! She's my favorite companion of the modern era.
The composer, Murray Gold, is a genius. The sheer amount of music he had to compose and record with such a short amount of time between episodes is astonishing.
Murray Gold had access to an orchestra from S2 onwards but with each series/season access meant limited access. For example in S2 he had only 2 days to work with the orchestra for the S1 Xmas special, entirety of S2 & enhancing bits of S1 music encompassing 90 mins of music. Each series/season the budget increased & Murray was given more days to work with an orchestra (that grew in size) which you can hear going forward in DW to a point where he was given access to the BBC National Orchestra Of Wales & that's a massive ensemble ❤
Donna's awesome. I won't spoil anything about her future with The Doctor but I think you'll love it.
Barring the fact that that, in itself, is a spoiler
I'm so glad you liked Donna right away. So many people say they hate her in this.
And oh my god, the emotion in his voice when he said, "Her name was Rose," makes me want to cry every time.
Donna is great. Catherine Tate is a National Treasure in Britain. A very well known Comic Actress. Also the great thing about Doctor Who....... Literally anything can happen, Anything. ...... ha ha. Thanks for all your reactions. You are the best.
I've just binge-watched all your doctor who reactions 😍 I'm so ready for more! 🙈
Donna is my all-time favorite companion 😄
You should watch their Comic Relief sketch featuring one of Catherine Tate's character. It's hilarious
Keep watching. No spoilers other than that!
He's finished series 4 and 5.
You lot need to chill out with the spoilers!!! I know it's exciting on a rewatch but you have to let Travis see everything for himself, otherwise it just won't hit the same. He SHOULD think he won't see Donna again, we did
Loved the reaction, as always

@@TravisViews I'm glad you found a way around it :)
David Tennant and Catherine Tate made a very good Benedick and Beatrice in a (RSC?) production of Much Ado About Nothing.
Great reaction mate 💯👍👍this episode is more important than ppl realized at the time 😁
Donna is the best.
I like how Donna and her dad keep marching down the aisle while she glows and screams.
22:58 First Tyler, then Harkness, and now Saxon. RTD really liked reusing last names. I think he may have even used Noble before.
"Can you hand me my Bio-Damper? HAHA"
Travis, your Bio is pretty damp already.
🤣🤣
Love your racnos impression 😅
Hard to find a better balance, IMO, than David Tennent and Catherine Tate. Just perfection
24:58 Yes hahaha
Yes. You could have played the empress. REALLY well. I always enjoy your reactions for gems like that! Can't wait to see your reaction to future episodes! Glad you are already in love with Donna... She's one of my favs too...
So much tears and so much hehe and now it's of to Season No 3.
❤❤❤
Did not love her at first but she grew on me.
Yeah the music is great, it really fits the style of "zany caper"
Catherine Tate and David have legendary onscreen chemistry.
No spoilers but you might want to start watching the spinoff Torchwood! Even if you don't post it on here, it could come in handy 😉. Also there's the Sara Jane adventures to
This is probably the first time where you get a glance of how "Dark" the Doctor can actually be..your going to love this season and why we consider David Tennant to be one of the best to play Doctor who.
Fun Fact- He married Peter Davison's Daughter - Peter also played "Doctor who " in the 1980's- He was my 1st version of the Doctor that I grew up with watching as a kid here in the uk. Anyway No Spoilers 😬🇬🇧
Donna is the best new Who companion imho
The first DW concert (not Prom) was in 2006. we heard the composition for Donna's Taxi Rescue for the first time if you go to 24m.44s - 29m.26s you will see it (important to stress it contains a liitle character spoiler for S3 Ep1 so it has to be at this exact time to avoid it) I will put the timestamp in the comments section as many fans are only aware of the Proms & might be interested - czcams.com/video/xiuV3RMizUY/video.htmlsi=kTv2If3UPQga9I7y
My boyfriend can’t stand her 😢 She’s my favourite xD
Without scrawling through every single comment, I'm probably not the only one to say this, but this was a little love letter to the long-term fans. This was the first time we heard the name Gallifrey mentioned in New Who, and I suspect that the collective shit lost nationwide probably registered on a Richter scale...
Question are you going to react to Torchwood or are you just going to stick with doctor who?
I didn't like Donna at first. But she grew on me
The queen here will make multiple appearances in the future, but you won't even know it's her 😁
this is almost the best doctor who special, and i doubt it would've been as good if they had any actor besides catherine tate play donna
ill marry you travis lol
lets gooo
Why does harold hate will? Lol
it’s a shame you liked donna so much cos ur literally never gonna see her again lol
Well, don't count on that. The Doctor says they may see each other again, but only if he's lucky enough for that to happen 😅
Fibber lol
I was gonna say that🤣🤣🤣
Language!
Just you wait 😉 people will be losing a lot of weight.
I can’t imagine there will ever be another Karen.
You love Donna? BRILLIANT! She's a recurring character two seasons later and she becomes VERY important! Also, she's now gonna be in the 60th anniversary special, so this episode will now have EVEN MORE prominence!
Damn. Spoilers lol
Donna was annoying in this special but fortunately RTD toned her down when she came back as companion a year later. And she became amazing.
I am glad you enjoyed it, but my enjoyment was spoiled because you swear far too much. In your own quiet time, away from the mic and camera, you might like to reflect on why you do this? Mind you, with nearly 20k subscribers, why should you care/
Meh. Get over it. I am who I am and will not change or be fake :)
Maybe because hes an adult lol
