The P229C is prone to extraction issues, whereas the P229 is flawless. Many P229Cs have been shipped back to Sig for repair. May have something the do with the shorting of the barrel and other parts. My P229 in 357 Sig has never had a hiccup. It’s built like a tank, yet still concealable. Nice shooting!

Gun looks nice! Your brass seems to fly everywhere, no consistent pattern. Ejector spring might need adjusting, or like you said, it was ammo related. More rounds will tell the tail there. Love Sigs and this one looks to be a winner too. 👍🏻

do what I did used and police trade in 2 years ago cost me a little over 400 look around for a deal and stay away from steel ammo it will stick in your chamber and beat on the extracter
Literally impossible to find ANY mention of this gun in 9mm…which you and I have…if found, they’re usually in 40 cal., but 9mm is, from what I’ve discovered, very hard to find…there’s even an article claiming (by the author) the wish that this model be made in 9mm by Sig.
