    summary:
EDIT: I know nutrients cannot be "killed." I'm simply quoting this video and taking notes for myself. This comment is posted to make it easier FOR YOU if you need a summary of notes from this video. I'm not a professional I'm literally just writing down notes from what Chris Heria said in the video.
    how to start eating healthy:
    1. identify healthy and nutritious foods you like (much easier to eat things you actually like)
    his loves:
protein: chicken breast, shrimp, salmon, red meat
(protein fuels muscle growth, eat 1 gram per pound of body weight)
vegetables: asparagus, broccoli, spinach, bok choy, corn, avocado, potato/sweet potato
grains: whole wheat spaghetti pasta, quinoa, rice
(carbs fuel for energy, if not all energy is used, it may be stored as fat)
eat carbs according to your fitness goals
    2. determine your caloric intake is depending on your goals
overeating or undereating according to goals or you may never reach them. know how many calories you are eating each day.
caloric surplus - 300 calories over average intake
caloric deficit - 300 calories less than average intake
    3. plan when you're going to eat your meals
this helps to stay on track and avoid eating unnecessary or unhealthy food such as snacking in between meals. it will help you stay on track with your diet because you know when you're going to eat and how much. + fasting
    4. properly cook your food
you can ruin your healthy food by the way you cook it. adding extra condiments with sugar or frying in fatty oils will add hundreds of more calories that aren't accounted for and can kill the nutrients from the vegetables. cook your food as clean as possible - preferably grill it or bake it. try not to add any sugar at all. make cooking delicious by doing things like sauteing spinach. use calorie calculators to count your calories and track how many calories you are eating
    5. drink lots of water
it's 0 calories and will flush out all impurities and in-toxins in your body, and keep you hydrated.
    6. stick to it, and stay consistent
    your body will feel amazing.

But,you know.. the feeling that you're always stepping back on progressions, lots of anxiety throughout the years, a job at office that has nothing to do with exercising and a lot of excuses on your back. So suddenly you put food above it all in compensation.

Well... workout in the workplace... I tried to solve this problem such way, that I compiled from the net HIIT excercises with no jumping, no laying on the ground (not making noise, not too much place) etc. and found a quiet corner... so I "disappear" every day for 3-4x5-6 minutes, one day for biceps-shoulder, next day for triceps-chest. Its not more time than to go on the toilet :-) And If I had biceps in the office, I''ll do triceps at home in a more serious workout. And by the way, after this short workout you will be more fresh and active - means productive which is good news for your boss too :-)

Hey man! keep up the work. you can do it. We all can do it. Its not going to be a smooth ride, all butterflies and rainbows all the time. We have our setbacks . For diet. make it about your lifestyle, eat something u enjoy. We all done it before . just gotta get back into that groove of wanting it that bad. Find out your why. and stay focused and hungry for it. U dont have to eat super strict all the time, u can have some fun buddy! 80/20 rule or 90/10 rule. eat clean majority of time but u can still have a cookie, or chocolate, or cake! just have a bit. or "less" . dont over indulge, takes practice and discipline depending on your goals! At end of day its, calorie in vs out. for weight loss. and yeah nutrition helps progress faster, whether low carb diet..etc dont overthink it too much and just do what works for u! just try to aim protein goal, and eat foods that make you feel good. and then have fun! i eat pizza.. slice or two here nd there often cuz of my work. still losing weight and making gains! for now.

Another great and helpful video, man. I’ve been training but shooting myself in the foot with my diet. Thank you!

I agree, too each his own, I'm personally not a fan of neck tattoos like his just because to me it looks like his head is separated from his body lol but it's not my body so i could care less

I've been cooking and eating nothing but what I cook for over a month now, no butter or frying and use only coconut oil when necessary. I have recently started yoga and am gaining my flexibility back as well as losing some extra weight, I really appreciate your videos and I have just subscribed to you. I love the way you explain things and I appreciate you for what you do!
