- After a few months of waiting, it's finally time to pickup our new Cirrus SR22 G6 from Cirrus Aircraft in Knoxville, TN. Welcome aboard and join us first hand on this amazing journey. We are proud to be part of the Cirrus Family and a sincere thank you to Cirrus Aircraft and the Knoxville Team that made this memorable experience.

I looove that last picture! Great! Always safe travels! I am an Airline pilot (currently on A350/380) and I absolutely love how the built the SR22 and how it revolutionized the whole GA-Business during the last 20 years. I must admit, the avionics of the SR22 impress me very much. It appears to me, you get more information much better presented than in any Airliner Cockpit I know. I hope to fly a Cirrus one day. Although I am (or better: my wife is) deeply concerned of that day: Because I know when this day finally comes, I might never want to get out of the Cirrus any more…Thanks for your great Vids! They are inspirational because they are made by an inspiring person! Keep going!

This is very exciting news! I'm sure your 3PF will sell in a heartbeat in this hot market. Other than doing all the online courses (20>22 transition) in advanced, there's really very little to prep. Enjoy the day and take lots of photos. It's gonna be amazing. Btw, for lodging see if Cirrus will put you up at the Tennessean...it's close to all the restaurants. Just went down to FL with the family and got headwinds both ways...lol. I'm getting about 155-160 kts TAS LoP and 170 kts TAS RoP. I also need to stop watching Vision Jet videos...makes my 22 feel slow.

Thanks pal! My airplane partner and I had an amazing instructor (as all factory instructors are): I’ve never sweated so much in my life. Our instructor knew our limits and pushed us right to it. The syllabus is well structured and we didn’t have a lot of wasted time. Are you taking delivery soon?

Congratulations! How did you record the voice of your aerial conversations? Do you need any adapters from Bosse?
I used an aviation audio adapter for the GoPro. It’s available from most online pilot shops.
New to your channel. I'm a bit behind on the flow here... Did the Cirrus guy fly a demo to FRG, pick you up, and then fly to TN to pickup your new airplane? Did you do the full SIM training while there?

Thanks pal! Yes the sales rep picked us up in his plane and took us to Knoxville to pickup our. We did CAPS training in the sim and the rest were all done in our plane.

@@SlowAsianDriver No sweat. If you want a great example of what "we" like check out Stevo1Kinevo. He flies a TBM850 but his videos are AWESOME. Music is ok at the beginning and the end but we want to see and hear the cockpit environment while flying.

Hey Shane, congrats to you as well pal! When is your delivery date? My airplane partner and I are both Chinese and 888 is a lucky number. Phonetically “fu” also means Luck and Prosperity - hence Foxtrot Uniform…then we realized we didn’t quite think this through…😂. Most of the NY Area ATC guys know our tail# by now and we tend to get better treatment. Of course if we screw up they won’t forget us either.

I love learning new things and the stories that go along with them. I have a tail number in mind too and so far it's still available. I will be easy and fun to use as a pilot and ATC to call out. I will share after I have it. lol

🤣 I managed a GS of 20 knots in a C172 once during slow flight maneuver.
What did you guys own/rent before getting the Cirrus?
We were student renters and mostly G1000 equipped C172s.
I see ground speeds of 95 on the daily in the mighty skyhawk haha

At the time it was 6 month. Now it’s about 12-18 month.

@SlowAsianDriver OK, so I'm finally ready to watch the rest of your video. I'm still jealous but not as jealous as 2 years ago. I am ecstatic to tell you that today I purchased my very 1st airplane. It's an old C150, which I plan to use for 850 hrs of time building. Not a cirrus and as nice as yours, but it's MINE. Thought you'd appreciate knowing this.
Meh whatever, you should have looked at what an “LX7” Lancair is capable of for the same price. Check out GA Evangelist interview new video with owner perspective. Jet performance at fraction of the cost. Not even the Pipistrel Panthera can hold a candle to an LX7. It’s all about time and range and the Cirrus isn’t that impressive unless your a cessna 152 pilot.
Topicthndr, you are such a troll. Yes, the LX7 is a cool plane with impressive specs, but you could’ve mentioned that without being a total dick.
